This company replaced my roof. They did not put a new boot around one of the vent pipes. The vent pipe location leaked while under warranty. The company representative insisted that the vent pipe was an HVAC pipe and they are not authorized to touch HVAC pipes. An affidavit and inspection from my HVAC provider had no effect. This company does not know the difference between HVAC and a simple vent pipe and pipe vent needing a new boot after roofing job. I had to pay another company $665 to put a boot around the vent pipe.
Most likely my ''5 year warranty'' is voided now anyhow. So much for a $9,000 job.

Don't do business with them. They do not work well with the customers and the insurance company. They do not do business well because they will never send you an invoice nor send the insurance the claims. Never called me about more damages so I can call the insurance company. They need to revamp the business.

They did excellent work on my roof after a bad storm. When there were some damages to my outside cameras I had to contact the corporate office to get the appropriate approvals for reimbursement and they got this taken care of care of quickly. I am very pleased with my new roof and their services. I've recommended them to others.

They are not the best choice that is a lie, in fact they are the worst. They told me one price and then wanted me to pay more after they made a mistake. I refused and they took away my warranty and put a lien on my house.

Buyer Beware. This is a very bad company to use. They have poor customer service, salesman, and workmanship. It took four months to put a new roof on my house. They ended up being the most expensive of the all my quotes. One week after installing new roof, the roof starting leaking damaging my ceiling. Almost one week later no one has showed up to repair damage. Please don't waste your time or money with these people.

I had one of their sales reps stop by to look at the roof and found hail damage and asked to get the ball rolling for the roofing repair.

After I agreed I was pestered 2-3 times a day with phone calls & the rep knocking on my door every day to the point that I almost told them to go away & I would find someone else to do the work.

I didn't and had a couple of different supervisors stop by to get my signature on a contract. I was told to give them a call once the insurance check came in. Once they got the first payment any and all communication simply stopped cold.

I called both supervisors & the sales rep directly along with calling the local office and was told someone would get in touch with me. I never heard anything until I got a text wanting to stop by to pick out the shingles.

Long story short shingles picked out and once again communication stops until we have a date set to have the work done.

Not one single person from the company was within 10 miles of my house when the work was done. They used day laborers (who I can not complain about at all. They did a fantastic job) I would have expected to at least have a supervisor on sight as the work was being done but this was not the case.

After the work was completed I called the office to see if I could pay my deductible on a credit card. I was told this would be no problem and that the person who came to collect would be able to do this.

Weeeeeeellll. There was a problem. He did not have a card reader and we had to call the office to process the payment. At this point I was informed there would be a 2% processing fee. Information I could have used the week before when I called the office to ask about paying on a credit card. Back to that lack of communication thing again.

I am waiting for the 2nd check from my insurance company to finish paying everything. I am really contemplating waiting until the company calls me to see if the check has been received and then waiting 2 weeks to call them back and say ""Yeah. I've had that for half a month now.""

On a good note the roof looks great & from the couple of storms we have had doesn't seem to be leaking.

Just due to the total lack of communication I can not recommend BCR and would not use their services again.

Everything that Mr. Gray said about my roof being done on time it was. I have never in my life dealt with such unprofessionalism. I cannot recommend them. They took my deposit and after a couple of weeks I had to call them to confirm the deposit and ask about an installation date because I had heard nothing. The day they began installation, I went out to show them which gate to use to get into the back yard and showed them how to unlatch the gate. After crew was gone at the end of the first day, I walked around the house to see how work was going, how much was left to do, etc. I discovered that the latch to my gate was ripped out of the post, leaving a hole in the post. After finding something to prop aganest the gate to keep it closed, I contacted the Project Manager to let her know about the damage and told her that I preferred to use the person that has done all my home repair and remodeling for the last 5 years because I trust him to be fair and do good work. I took pictures of the damage and sent to him and he immediately came out and gave me a quote. The roof was completed the next day and it took a over a week to get BCR out for the final inspection for paperwork to turn in to the insurance company. I again mentioned the gate latch to the PM and showed her the damage and was told she had to have someone else look into that and get back to me. No one did. I called to tell PM that the repair had been scheduled and asked to be called to work out getting the cost covered. No one called. I called the BCR office, the PM took the call and said they would not cover cost. They are trying to blame wind on ripping a solid metal latch out of a post. At first she tried to say it was already broken until I told her that the day of the winds and 2 days before roof crew began work, the person who does my lawn care came out to mow, at BCR's suggestion, and when they left the gate was in perfect working order.
There are many other roofing companies in the area so I suggest you call any of them and not waste time with Best Choice Roofing of Savannah, GA.

Came to our house uninvited and began to ""inspect"" without permission. When approached, said he just wanted to see if we had roof damage ""from the hail storm last May."" (There was a minor hail storm several months ago.) When told we weren't interested, he persisted to try to obtain more information about us (Insurance provider, etc.) Eventually, he started heading back towards his truck.

But a few minutes later, he was coming back to the house carrying a ladder, and only stopped after arguing a bit and claiming that there IS damage, and he just wanted to get a closer look.

Is it any surprise that I didn't believe him when he said he wasn't trying to sell anything and wasn't trying to take advantage?

Buyer beware!
