BEWARE, BEWARE BEWARE!
Best Choice Roofing should be called Worst Choice Roofing. Please beware they are scammers.
Kevin, who they call a manager was very unprofessional and hostile.
He came to my fathers house and intimidated and pressured my father to sign a contract HE DID NOT AGGREE WITH. Kevin was upset once my dad said he needed some time to think it over, at that moment things went south, his tone of voice and hand gestures was inappropriate and hostile he repeatedly asked ""what were we so confused about, we have 2 choices cash deal which was an estimate of $16,500, with everything else out of pocket or claim insurance deal of $17k and still pay out of pocket for other materials. I warned him 3 times to lower his tone and bring his energy level down or he had to leave immediately . he even said ""he couldn't believe he came all the way from Melbourne for nothing and then threatened us by saying he was going to take the BC shirt off. Kevin also mentioned that we need to keep in mind that this is his commission we are playing with"". what a piece of work this Kevin guy is.
Kevin claimed we had to pay them our deductible of $1K and claimed the depreciation and the incurred amount that was held until work was completed was to be sent to the company along totaling $7,300.
While in fact that is an incentive to the home owner. Kevin stated he was trying to save us money but in reality they are not. I called Headquarters and made a complaint against him. I spoke with the office manager Kyle and he said' He will have a word and record this incident in his file""
I asked Kyle for the Owner Jeff to give me a call. unfortunately I have not received one yet. I work for a construction company as well I know how these complaints go- the Owner does not even have a clue that this happened. it's all about their REVENUE at the end of the day!
Shame on Best Choice Roofing for sending a manager like KEVIN, who was so hungry for his commission and couldn't take no for an answer. He is not allowed no where near our home as my father is now feared for his life as an elderly not knowing if Kevin may retaliate. therefore I am giving them a review just incase.
FYI,
To all the home owners who need a Roof Contractor- look up West Orange Roofing based out of Taveres, FL. my roof got done for $16,250 with all material included (rotten wood) They are very honest and will save you $$.
