Bert Roofing is prompt and reliable. My trust with them goes back a few years. They have helped me with different homes.
I do not find the need to get multiple quotes when it comes to roof work.
This company is a great value to me.
I have no doubt where to call when my roof has a need.
I wished every business worked as hard and as well serving the needs of a owning my home and my friend's home as Bert Roofing.

Bert has repaired roofs for me twice on two different properties. but this time (August 2019) causes me concern. John Bert came out personally, is knowledgeable, made several recommendations and within 2 days emailed me a quote. As this is not an insurance claim, i contacted John asking for quotes on various possible options. 2 weeks passed with no response, so i again contacted John. he remembered my queries and said he's get right back to me. another 2 weeks and still no response. Concerns me greatly ..... if getting the business doesn't merit a response, how hard would it be to get a response if there was an issue with the new roof while under warranty. Red Flag

Made several calls & was promised by David that he would come and check out my roof, but we could never connect. After repeated attempts to re-connect with David, he chose to just not return my calls. This whole process was over a month and a half. So either my business is not needed or David is not a attentive representative of this company.

After repeated calls & no follow-ups, David finally calls back about 3 weeks later. My response was that problem was already taken carry of by a company who actually cared about my business. His response, ""OK, sorry"".

I requested an appointment to get an estimate for a leak in my roof through company's web site on October 20. I received an email that someone would contact me, but that it may be a couple of weeks as they were very busy. I wasn't in any hurry so I replied that was fine. I was not contacted and called them on November 21st. I was told that I was still on their list to have an estimator contact me, in fact if I remember correctly, I was told I was next up. This was the day before Thanksgiving and I was told someone would call me on Monday after the holiday. It is over a month later and Bert Roofing has still not contacted me.

Just like most homeowners in our area, our roof had a ton of damage from a hail storm. I did quite a bit of research and decided to speak with Bert roofing.

While it took some time and a few follow up calls to schedule an appointment, we are happy that we patiently waited.

John came out and gave us an incredibly detailed estimate and spelled out everything that would be replaced. We were able to compare his estimate to our insurance information as to what they were going to pay to have replaced. He spoke with me in detail about what materials would be used.

Bert Roofing was thoughtful to so many factors, such as NOT roofing during a rainstorm and NOT roofing our steep slopes during high heat, both of which can impact the end result. John also helped us in finding an incredible company to take care of our fence, which needed repairs from the same storm. He went above and beyond on several occasions for us.

We did have one small glitch. The supply company delivered the wrong shingles, as we had requested a class 4 shingle and a regular shingle arrived. John stopped everything and delivered as many shingles as he could himself and was on top of the supply company to get the rest of the correct shingles delivered quickly. He handled the situation quickly and professionally. We couldn't have asked for a better recovery.

The workers who replaced our roof were all polite and thoughtful. They even used a huge magnet on wheels to sweep any stray nails out of our yard. We found the on site supervisor to be easy to speak with.

Before finding Bert Roofing, we had several storm chasers stop by. Our experiences with them were quite different. Estimate?? No...whatever your insurance says is what it will cost. Products?? Whatever shows up. Deductible??? Oh, let's make a deal. No thank you to all of it. Our roof was a huge investment. We wanted it to be done right with the right materials without cheating anyone...especially ourselves - because if you decide to go with a company like that, you will be cheating yourself at the end of the day. They will take shortcuts, use inferior products, work when they really shouldn't, and there is no recourse because you made a deal. I have seen this happen to several of my friends.

I am personally thankful to have found Bert Roofing. Our roof looks great, we know quality products were used, the work was done by an experienced company that has been around for a long time, we felt the pricing was right, and we are looking forward to having it last a very long time. I contacted Bert Roofing two weeks ago to request an inspection and quote to repair or replace a portion of my roof where water leakage is apparent on the ceiling below. The person who answered the phone took my information and said repeatedly that they were very busy but would be in touch within a week. Having not heard anything from them, I called again today, and the phone person wouldn't give me any sense of when I might expect an appointment. When politely pressed by me, she admitted that this company isn't interested in roof repairs or partial replacements, despite repairs being offered as a service on the company website. Just wanted to share this experience so others don't waste time.
