They are the worst! Tony the owner, he came into my house introduced himself, told me he needed the deductible. I said okay. I got it for him. Then he said he was going to on the roof. I said ok. He went outside. I thought he went to get the ladder but instead he went and got in his truck and drove away. He didn't say he was coming back or anything. I called the office and there was no answer. I left a message. I've yet to received a call

Extremely disappointed. Two months ago I had them out for roof repair and maintenance, which seemed to be done fine. The reason I had them out was to fix a leak which we thought was do do an overflowing gutter. A downspout was installed which we thought would fix the problem.

Well the first rain comes and the leak was still happening, so I had them come out to fix the repair. Mr. Bernadino was very argumentative, insisting that I did not discuss a leak with him. I did, and it was obvious from the damage to the wall. He claimed no responsibility for the damage, and felt I was the problem. I was a good customer who paid for services rendered at a timely basis. I deserved to be treated respectively. I will never use their services again, and could never recommend them to anyone else.

Accepted an estimate for roof repair at our home and scheduled an appointment for August 27. They wanted an appointment for August 23, but we wanted to be present during tear off and were not available on Aug 23 so we declined that appointment. They showed up on the morning of the 23rd anyhow and are about to climb up on to the roof when I caught them and remind them we didn't want them at our house to start work that day. The owner then called us, accused us of ""screwing him over"" by not allowing him to proceed with the work outside of the agreed upon schedule, attempted to manipulate us into allowing work to begin by canceling our appointment on the 27th and saying he may not have another opening for months, and said he was going to increase the cost of the job. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I will not be treated that way and will not do business with that type of person, so I withdrew my acceptance of the estimate, and demanded a refund of my $1000 deposit. We have no written contract, only an estimate signed by one of us, and not by the vendor. No contractual language ever signed or agreed to whatsoever. Owner is refusing to return our $1,000 deposit and claims we owe him for the full cost of the job even though they have not and will not be performing any work. We gave him the opportunity to make it right by just refunding our money and walking away - he refused. Now we're having to file a complaint with the BBB and the Contractors State License Board just to get our deposit back. You can't trust this vendor with your money, to keep their appointments, or to even treat their customers professionally and respectfully. And if you can't trust them with that how can you possibly trust them to make repairs on your home?

Not honest, not recommended
My roof was repaired by Tony 2 years & 3 months ago (10/2016) because of a leak inside the house.
At that time, he checked my roof & told me that the leak came from the roof. I trusted him. He repaired it. I paid $2000.
After this recent storm, I realized that the same leak had come back.
I called & asked for an appointment. I was given one, but Tony never came. I called the company. The person on the phone told me that she had talked to Tony. Since the repair was over 1 year, it would not be their problem anymore & she forgot to call me back to have the appointment canceled.
I explained to the person on the phone that I was away & just moved back recently. There was the same leak in the house during the very last storm.
She told me that there was nothing that they would do about it.
Based on my experience with this company, it is important to be aware that if you have them to help you to fix your roof, some serious rain better come in the following year to see if the repair is well done. If you are away, it is too bad!
This is not a good business practice in my view.

The owner Tony had an appointment to provide an estimate for a replacement skylight. I showed him the skylight and asked him to to provide the measurements and labor cost once he was done with the measurements. The owner Tony said, ""okay,"" I heard him get on his latter, then I went to check on him to see if he was okay. The guy took off, left my front door wide open. No estimate provided. He was No where to be found. I have a child so that's inconsiderate and dangerous. This guy is a strange dude. I wouldn't do any business with him, even if it was for free. My next step is to check to see if this guy is legitimate, so that others don't have to deal with the unprofessionalism. Zero stars for this guy.

I would give 4.5 stars since I had some issues with contacting Bernardino with quotes and follow up (regardless, I had two other roofing companies through yelp decline even offering a quote). Nevertheless, they delivered well on their promise to repair our gutters that had been leaking around the perimeter of our house profusely, and will gladly round up to 5*. I was worried that we'd have to replace all the gutters which could have been quite an expense. The owner of the company came over, gave a fair estimate, and I was glad that the gutters just needed some reinforcement and two new downspouts (which our home inspectors recommended). All around I felt I had an honest contractor fix a vital issue for my house at a fair price, as such I'm more than happy to give 5 stars

I have used them multiple time. The work promised did not match the outcome on the first engagement, but overall did a good job (at a high price.) The second time I used them, they left the roof exposed over night without any sort of covering and my entire office flooded. They took no responsibility. They also left a huge mess in both my and my neighbors yard, I called and asked them to clean up the mess and they never did.

The Service and quality of work is a 5 star.

1. The owner came and emailed me a quote. He knew exactly what my roof needed. Price was reasonable.

2. Every time I called with my million question someone was always available to answer them.

3. The crew was extremely speedy with the repairs and did an excellent job. They completed the job in 1 day so that was pretty cool.

Don't hesitate to hire these folks. I'll be using them if I ever need roof repairs.

Wish i could give them a higher rating. Excellent work ethic and response. However, low bid the estimate on our project upon starting the project tacked on $500 and added another $500 at end of project. SMH. 1k more wouldve gone with someone else.

Bernardino Roofing (Tony) owner has one personality before the contract was signed and another after. Very unprofessional and questionable services. The crew was good the owner not so good.
