I hired this company to put a new roof on my home, primarily because they were a local contractor. I wanted to support business in my town and felt they would also be highly accountable for the work done. Another roofing company using the exact same materials and specs bid the job at almost $10K less. I paid Berlogar by check and in full the same week they finished the job. With the first light rain, I had a leak into the house from the chimney. The customer service is very disappointing. I called their office at least a half dozen times before they came out initially, then nothing was done for two more months. I finally had to call a masonry firm myself to get things taken care of. Of course, I am expected to pay for this to be done. Berlogar is done with me because I won't need another roof for 60 years. I should have saved myself the $10K and the headache of trying to get this job done right. Very disappointed in this company and the lack of customer service casts aspersions about the quality of the job otherwise. Guess this winter will tell the story...
