They took over 3 weeks to complete the work and said it would only take a couple of days and still left some work unfinished. They left debris around my property when they were supposedly finished. They left materials on my property for over two weeks after the fact. I'm still waiting for them to repair the window that they broke and it has been over 2 months since I reported the broken window. They still have not addressed the concerns regarding the soffit on the the third level that was supposed to be done as well as the work that they slopped up and had to re-do. They keep setting up dates to come out and then not showing up. It's seem like they are blowing us off and what needs to still be done since they got their money from the financing company. I was asked by staff to give Bentely Roofing  a positive review on Yelp and to have my husband contact the financing company so that the funds could be released however this company was made aware that the work was not completed and that a window had been damaged and we were still asked to contact the financing company and to trust that this company would address concerns. Well it's been over 2 months since they got their money and they have not honored their word to resolve any of the issues. It is now June 8th and they did not come yesterday, June 7th, which was the most recent date they were schedule to finally complete the work and we are now looking to take legal action against this company. They have been very messy and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.They charge entirely too much money to be providing lousy service and poor quality of work.

Bentley Roofing in Mt Laurel is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. See the review from the person in Philadelphia. That was my almost exact experience with them. No communication from the company after several calls and texts. Only after posting a bad review did anything get done. It seems from reading the reviews, that everyone has had similar issues. Wish I had read them first.

I FINALLY found a roofing company to show up for the quote and do the job promptly and professionally. Bentley Roofing was very efficient and organized. Whomever manages the operation (Mr. Bentley .. I guess) must have some good business experience and ethics; I cannot say that for other roofing companies. You would be surprised how many other companies lost the roofing job because they didn't do basic things like show up for the quote, or the contract and/or the first deposit. It was a team effort starting with Luis who delivered a prompt quote. Lorenzo (I think) and Rigo were very helpful to answer my basic questions during the actual process. Oh and YES they cleaned up after themselves too. My neighbor had his roof done and it took them about 2 weeks. Bentley Roofing got almost all of it done in under 2 days.

It was also nice that they do gutters too. Surprisingly, most roofing companies don't also do gutters. The process flows more smoothly when its all the same company. Bentley Roofing is doing something right! I never right reviews but this group earned it. I just wish I had found them before the other dozen companies I attempted to work with.

NOTE - I re-roofed a flat roof on an older Florida home and got gutters.

Called them up for a roof replacement estimate since I saw their signs around my Neighborhood .
They gave me a guy By the name Luis who never showed up as promised and never gave an estimate as promised .
Now I'm checking their reviews as they are horrible!
No wonder :)

On January 6th, Bentley installed a new roof on our house. The crew was told to not to throw any roofing debris at the AC condensers on the side of our house. They assured us there would be no issues. I was home that day, which they were not aware of. At one point I could hear roofing debris hitting our AC condenser. I took photos of the debris on the condenser, along with the large pile of debris on the ground directly below the condenser, and sent them to my boyfriend. He immediately reached out to the project manager, who said someone would stop by check on the crew. However the damage was already done.

We immediately reached out to our AC contractor so he could to assess the damage, which was almost $1,400. The production manager would not accept responsibility for the damage and eventually stopped returning our phone calls. On January 29th, after multiple calls to the office in NJ, the Director of the Roofing Division stepped in and said he would handle our reimbursement. We sent him an invoice from our contractor and photos of the damage on February 3rd. He said it would be taken care of. We followed up on February 14th. He said the reimbursement was submitted and processed, and would arrive by mail in 7-10 business days. We followed up after 10 business days (March 2nd) because we had no check. He said he would follow up with the corporate office for a status. On March 4th we still had not heard back. I began to repeatedly call the office to get a hold of him. I did not receive a call back until I made it clear to the receptionist that I was going to call until I had an answer. When he did call, he began screaming at me and threatening to stop payment on the check. We were able to find another contact number on the company's IG page, and the associate who answered suggested we call corporate. After calling corporate we learned that they never received a request for our reimbursement, meaning the Roofing Director had repeatedly lied to us. On March 16th we made the decision to email the owner directly. He called us immediately and had the refund processed that Monday.

We received payment March 17th for damage that occurred on January 6th. This process was drug out as a result of the worst customer service I have ever experienced along with false information being provided to us.

On April 13th our three month old roof began leaking. We reached out to the Bentley that day and they assured us the production manager would get back to us ASAP. We did not hear back and once again, went to the owner. We received a call back the next day after the owner reached out to the production manager. The production manager tried to tell us the leak was not essential work (due to Covid-19) and they could not come out until the following week. We contacted a borough inspector who confirmed this work was essential. This delay was a problem because there were several days that had rain in that week's forecast. After contacting the owner again, an appointment was scheduled for the following day.

I was hesitant to post this review because the owner ultimately came through for us but after reading other reviews for this company, I found out that the Roofing Director has been in the news for stealing from customers of his former business. (See links below). I feel I should make any potential customers aware of what could happen since he still maintains his position at Bentley. This review is not an attempt to extort Bentley into giving us a refund. We have only asked for the cost of repairs for our AC condensers. I simply do not want to see another homeowner put in the position that we were in nor to experience the amount of unnecessary stress that we did.

Someone needs to have a training on customer service here ASAP. I asked for a rough estimate for a roof replacement on a home I will be occupying in a few months, and she wouldn't even care to talk to me now because this was not a work that was going to be done right away. Wouldn't let me explain what i was looking at this point. Anyway I know for sure who I WONT be hiring for this job.

This company repaired my neighbors roof and left a mess in my yard. When they were done, I found scraps of shingles in my lawn, in my garden and numerous nails through out my lawn. I can't say whether they did a nice job on the roof or not, but the customer service and respect towards neighbors was horrible. I would not recommend.

Asked 4 times to put a tarp on my roof, never did, and gave me an excuse on why they couldn't. Put up 2 myself, then when they took off my tiles they threw my own traps out.

Broke my screen patio door.

Broke my giant pot in front of house.

Busted A/c line and refused to pay. Required by law to give insurance information. Gave the name and policy but Was told to google the rest

Never responds to phone calls or emails. Communication is poor.

Do not recommend at all.

Got a contract and paid $1,000 to Bentley Roofing 1/3. Roof completed 10/13. Yup. Took longer to get a roof than to have a baby. In March, I went to the city and learned the permit was not applied for. I got and paid for my own permit. Then I posted myself in Bentley's Banks Road office and refused to leave until I got a for certain start date. That said, hard-working crew did a very good job. Today, October 16, no apologies from the manager who pointed out there was no completion date in the contract. Wish management was as responsible as the crew -- which was punctual, polite and skilled and did a meticulously thorough job. Worth the wait -- if you've got nearly a year.

All in all a good company great workers on the field the guys who came to tear my old roof out Lorenzo and crew will great awesome professional very timely manner crew and the guys OK to put the shingles on Ricky and his crew were very awesome and professional very courteous clean the job up at the End four stars and not five stars because the office doesn't communicate the ladies in the office don't know what's going on I told him my permit was ready for pick up they told me no and I showed him on easy permit for Palm Beach County and I was ready for four days they also had me sitting for four days waiting for inspection when I didn't need a rate for inspection for Palm Beach County they took pictures already so all in all a job to go week when could've took two days what the crews on the job site where phenomenal thanks again Bentley roofing
