I am highly recommending Benefit Roofing over any other company!!! If you want a company that is professional, meticulous, organized, and fastidious, you'll want this company. My dad was a tradesman and the best in his trade. I knew what to look for in any company that I want for my house. Being a single woman I was leary and cautious who to pick. Benefit Roofing had all the checks I was looking for. Alan, Dina (who handles the calls and appointments, also very professional) and his men will not disappoint. Alan really listen and took me seriously unlike other ""men"" in construction!

I had to have my roof replaced since there were 3 layers of shingles. He will tell you upfront exactly what you need. I didn't ask how long he had been in his field of work but, I knew just by the way he informed me that he has been doing this for a long time. He gave me more vents that I had on the previous roof and did a cricket for my chimney that hadn't been done with the old roof to prevent leaks. (apparently if the chimney is more than 4 feet wide it's better to have.) Two new t-tops which is more aesthetically nicer looking than the 2 pipes that were up there. He also included flashing that gives my roof a more custom look. He will also be putting up gutters after I get the house painted.

I really enjoyed working with him for the 4 days or so. He always asked (and his communication skills are excellent) if I needed anything every day that his team was there. I had a couple of minor things I asked about and was done, no problem. From the start of the job to the end everything they did was done with a level of excellence. Everyday they would clean up and in my book that says a lot. After the last day of work he sent another guy to repaint a t-top and a pole that was in a different brown so that the browns would match I hadn't even noticed that! Finally, swept up the garage that was not done because I had locked it prior.

He will not be the cheapest and was not the most expensive. He will give you a fare price but does knows all the ins and outs of roofing, AND will be the most professional and fun to work with!

Alan is definitely the best in his trade! He takes pride in all aspects of the roofing experience. I can't say enough about his company! Thank you Alan and your team, I'm glad I made the right choice and for making it such an enjoyable experience for me!!!

Alan and his crew did an excellent job replacing our roof. It took them about 5 days from start to finish, including city inspections and permit. Our roof is mainly flat - the material they installed is bright white with a cool roof technology and we can definitely feel the difference with the heat. The installers were polite, friendly and extremely hard workers! They cleaned after each day, and did a great job. I will definitely recommend Alan and his crew to anyone.

I am the owner of a flat roofed duplex; it is an old building from the 1920s. Both units were suffering from water intrusion whenever it rained. It became clear that I had to have the roof inspected to see what repairs might need to be made. I contacted a few companies; two of them took one look at my property on Google and declined my potential business, owing to my duplex being very tall with a narrow driveway, and the roof only accessible from the outside. Then I spoke with Alan, the owner of Benefit Roofing, who promptly came out and conducted a thorough evaluation of my roof. He found several possible points of entry for water leakage, and encouraged me to replace the entire roof, as I came to find out the old one was not installed correctly. My roof is largely flat, but there is a small pitched area in the front with Spanish tiles, as well as the same tiles running all along the top perimeter of the structure. Alan didn't blink at the complexity of my job, and I decided to go with his company. I am so thankful I did. From start to finish, communication was outstanding, and throughout the process Alan carefully explained the order of work and the materials to be used, consistently sending me photos as the job progressed and patiently answering any questions I had along the way. He runs a very tight operation, and his team can do things that require extra skills, like making the custom tile pans that were needed. In addition, my gutters were also replaced, and Alan noticed there was an unaddressed area that could use a gutter, so he had his crew put one in, without changing his original quote. Benefit Roofing definitely goes the extra mile for its clients, and the fact that ALL of the reviews are 5 stars speaks for itself.

This should have been posted few months back. We had a great experience with Alan at Benefit. Our roof was done professionally and quickly with minimal issues. I'd definitely recommend. The roof looks awesome! We added on new rain gutters during the process and I do not regret it. Made the house look waaay better. We recently used Benefit to replace our roof. Our old roof leaked in a several places during the latest storms and had tried to patch the roof ourselves in the past, however we knew it was the time to get a new one, and we were hoping to get it done quickly. I reached out to a several companies in our area and Benefit was the quickest to respond. Alan was our inspector - and from start to finish, he and his team made sure everything went as planned. We chose Alan because he was the most professional, reliable and trustworthy from all the roofers we met. We also appreciate the fact that despite him being extremely busy, he answered his phone every time we had questions before, during and after the job was completed. He also visited the job on a daily basis, which was a huge plus for us, since we both work from home. This is the exact customer service we were looking for! The new shingles roof looks great, and after the latest rain - we are finally dry. If you are looking for smooth, fairly priced and excellent company to work with, look no further! I will highly recommend giving them ar call.

Benefit Roofing provided good estimate, material, installation and service. The house we moved into needed new shingles from the get-go and rotted plywood replaced in areas discovered after shingles removal. New roof looks nice and neat with Owens Corning shingles and low-profile vents which were painted to match the shingles. Existing exhaust pipes and other protrusions were painted to match as a nice finishing touch.

I postponed this review until after strong winds and heavy rain. Shingles remained intact, no wet spots on ceiling or walls, and not a drop of water heard.

Alan was prompt, professional, and addressed every concern I had throughout this renovation. I look forward to working with him and Benefit Roofing again for gutters.

I want to express how satisfied I am with the work done by Benefit Roofing. Alan was very attentive to my project and was there every day, sometimes twice a day. He listened to all my concerns and fixed the small issues that I had. Alan was very easy to communicate with and made the job flawless. He went out of his way to make sure the house was tarped correctly before the big rain in December. The workers did a great job at removing all the debris and cleaning the perimeter of my home. From our initial consultation and presentation of the proposed work, through final completion Alan and his crew from Benefit Roofing did and awesome job!
Alan was quick to respond when seeking quotes and during our initial meeting demonstrated knowledge, integrity and gained my trust by providing a fair and realistic quote.
Our home has a very steep pitched roof which provides its own natural challenges which the crew expertly managed during tear off of old and replacement of new roofing materials. The work began as soon as the permit was pulled and completed in a timely fashion. Throughout the project Alan or Pablo was engaged in daily review of the work being performed and ensuring all elements as agreed to in the contract and through conversations was being properly addressed. Site cleanup and protection of critical plants and features around our home during the work was expertly managed throughout the process.
Our new roof looks awesome and the first rains and gutters kept everything dry. With the quality of materials and work done in replacing my roof I wont need another roof job done in my lifetime, but in the off chance I live past 90, I hope Alan and Benefit Roofing are available to get my repeat business.

I have only great things to say about my experience with Benefit Roofing and the owner, Alan!

Due to some procrastination on my part, I was in a rush to have my garage re-roofed to appease my homeowners insurer. I reached out to a number of roofing companies and got quotes from five before moving forward with Benefit, and I'm so glad I did!

Before meeting with Alan, I felt torn between going with a cheaper roofer versus a more expensive company that I felt really confident would do a great job. But that became a nonissue once I met Alan. From our very first meeting, he was professional, knowledgeable and a great communicator. He was always super responsive and happy to answer my questions. His quote was very reasonable and in line with the other less expensive quotes I received. That combined with Alan's excellent customer service made choosing Benefit a no brainer.

His crew showed up on time (even early!) every day and were very professional. Alan stopped by at least once a day to check on the job status and make sure things were going smoothly.

Alan and the Benefit team made sure the job was completed well and in a timely manner (despite delays from the city and my self-imposed short timeline). They even went above and beyond and cleaned my gutters because they just happened to see that they were clogged while they were on the roof!

The new garage looks great! I hope to not need another roof anytime soon, but if I do, I'll definitely be reaching out to Benefit.
