Alan (owner) showed up in person everyday of the project and was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. They are a very solid, reliable company, with a considerate, hard-working crew. Scheduling and work was done quickly with Alan sending updates daily (as they had to coordinate the roofing with the installation of new ac units). Alan, the owner, is very helpful on answering the questions in detail, patient in listening to requests, and very knowledgeable on roofing. He understands well on code requirements, liabilities, and warranty issues. His sharing and advice on those areas are valuable. Even though I have done my roof already, I would consider him on future roofing projects. He has a very healthy diet too. :) Maybe that keeps him healthy, alert. and energetic which are important at job!

Despite the frustration of the rainy weathers in the past two years and the construction delay caused by force majeure, Alan has been very flexible working around my schedule and squeezing my project in between the watery weathers. Not only quick with the work, he really went through the details of replacing old substrates to ensure proper drainage and ridding all possible leakage. The result is an all-new, functional and beautiful new roof over our head!

My 1911 historic home recently sprung a leak around my fireplace and with its age, a full roof replacement became necessary for both my home and garage. I contacted four different roofing companies for estimates, and Benefit Roofing stood out from the start. Alan, the owner, provided a thorough inspection as he pointed out issues like not having a ""cricket"" (my first time learning these roofing terms--not the insect), which creates a split to divert water to flow around the chimney instead of hitting the back of the chimney. The other companies hadn't mentioned this solve which is strange since it seems like a perfect long term solution for an area that previously had a leak. He also pointed out incorrect installation techniques from the previous roofer where they had not properly aligned the shingles. With Alan's attention to detail and fair estimate, I decided to go with Benefit Roofing.
The project started quickly and Alan provided exceptional communication throughout the entire process with texting, and regular meetups. He kept me well informed about the work schedule each day, the work being done, and expected arrival times. He also shared photos along the way which helped me see the progress, as I'm not able to get upon the roof, which gave me a good comfort level with the work being done. The crew was very polite, worked hard and did a nice job with the cleanup.
In the end, the roof looks fantastic! The house even feels cooler with the extra attic vents that Alan recommended to install along with the latest special type of heat reflection shingles. I'm so glad I went with Benefit Roofing. They delivered a high-quality roof replacement and made the whole experience stress-free.

I cannot recommend Alan and the guys at Benefit Roofing enough. Not only did he come out to our house to check on our roof in a timely manner, he gave us a fair assessment of the property. Many roofing contractors will tell you there is an issue with the roof even if there isn't one so they can get a contract. Alan and the guys at Benefit Roofing are the exact opposite and told us that our roof didn't have any damage. Their team clearly has integrity, which is in short supply in this world. Alan was so amazing to work with. He is quick to respond to messages and schedule appointments- within a week of reaching out his team assessed and began work on repairing our leaky old roof and they finished the job so fast- I think there were 15 workers there one day to make it happen fast before the rain. The workmanship is exceptional and the prices he quoted us were the best we got. I can't recommend them enough, truly the best in the business! 3 days to completely renew our roof even after they found unexpected wood rot that had to be replaced last minute.

I'm leaving a review as Alan, the owner, just came by to examine the issues with the roof of my property. Because of the slope of my roof, he recommended me a service he does not provide, rather than sell me his service which he believes is not suitable for me and could be problematic later. In this day and age, it is hard to find someone who's honest, direct and will give genuine advice that does not benefit themselves. Alan is exactly that. I give him the highest of recommendations. After securing 10 different, on-site, estimates for my roof replacement, I hired Benefit Roofing based primarily on my interactions with Alan, the company owner. His approach is straightforward, presenting the proposed Benefit Roofing work in detail, patiently responding to all questions and concerns with no sales pressure. The work required a new layer of plywood sheathing, not surprising considering the 30 year age of the previous roof replacement. The additional cost involved was explained to me by Alan as he showed me the issues on site following the demolition. The work was performed in a timely manner, assuring completion before the onset of the rainy season. Alan monitored the work daily from start to finish, adding cosmetic improvements at no additional cost. The roof looks great and I anticipate it will be an important selling point when that time comes.
