In 1957, with just one worker, Ernest Beck established Beck Roofing Company, believing that quality craftsmanship would attract customers. Over the years, Beck Roofing Company has gained respect and recognition throughout the Bay Area roofing community. Maintaining the high standards set by Ernie, Charlie and Mary took over in 1973, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality remained paramount. They, along with their son Brian, manage the company, adhering to the traditional values that clients expect. Though our methods and materials have adapted over the years, our dedication to serving customers will always stay the same. You can count on Beck to be there for your roofing needs, now and in the future.
At just 10 years old, Charlie Beck witnessed his father, Ernest, commit to delivering the quality customers deserved. By assisting his father after school and on weekends, he learned how to provide exceptional service for re-roofing projects. During his college years and military service, Charlie refined his abilities as a professional roofer and an effective administrator and estimator. Charlie focuses on building relationships rather than using high-pressure sales; he genuinely cares about each person he encounters and aims to provide the best value. In 1973, Charlie and his wife Mary assumed control of Beck Roofing. In 2001, their son Brian completed his studies at Cal Poly, marking the third generation to be part of the family business.

We were told that we would need a new roof in about 2 years when we bought our house in Castro Valley. After about 2 years, we called around and had 4 different roofing companies come over, inspect the roof, and give us an estimate. Every company, except Beck's, gave us estimates on completely re-roofing our house. The Beck's guy did an inspection, told me straight up that we didn't need a new roof yet, and that our's would hold up for another 3 years. He just did a few quick fixes on our current roof and that was it. Professionalism, honesty, and integrity. That's where I'll be putting my money when those 3 years are up and I need a new roof!!

I felt they were very fair with the extra unforeseen dry rot. This is the second roof they have done for me. Would recommend them.

We have a 4000 square foot home and Charlie Beck provided a detailed and complete estimate of all aspects of the job to install composition shingles and hot mop the 400 square foot section.. The estimate was exactly in the price range we expected. We wanted to go with a local company with many years of experience in our area. We were not disappointed ! The men could not have worked any harder . All areas were kept clear of debris at the end of each work day. The workers could not have been more professional. Brian Beck was here daily. Several areas of ""dry rot"" were found and the team made all necessary repairs. Our new roof looks fantastic and we could not be more pleased with the work and professionalism of all members of the Beck Rooking Team. I can recommend Beck Roofing Company with complete confidence.
