In 1957, with just one worker, Ernest Beck established Beck Roofing Company, believing that quality craftsmanship would attract customers. Beck Roofing Company has been a trusted name in the Bay Area roofing industry since its inception. In 1973, Ernie's son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Mary, upheld the same standards of quality and customer satisfaction that Ernie established nearly 60 years ago. Together with their son Brian, they operate the business, upholding the core values that customers have come to rely on. Even as our materials and techniques have progressed, our promise to our customers will never waver. You can count on Beck to be there for your roofing needs, now and in the future.
When he was 10, Charlie Beck saw his dad, Ernest, take the initiative to offer customers the quality they deserved. By assisting his father after school and on weekends, he learned how to provide exceptional service for re-roofing projects. Aside from his college education and military service, Charlie developed his expertise as a skilled roofer and a capable administrator and estimator. He avoids high-pressure sales tactics, instead showing genuine interest in everyone he meets and striving to offer the best value. In 1973, the operations of Beck Roofing were handed over to Charlie and his wife Mary. In 2001, their son Brian completed his studies at Cal Poly, marking the third generation to be part of the family business.

We were told that we would need a new roof in about 2 years when we bought our house in Castro Valley. After about 2 years, we called around and had 4 different roofing companies come over, inspect the roof, and give us an estimate. Every company, except Beck's, gave us estimates on completely re-roofing our house. The Beck's guy did an inspection, told me straight up that we didn't need a new roof yet, and that our's would hold up for another 3 years. He just did a few quick fixes on our current roof and that was it. Professionalism, honesty, and integrity. That's where I'll be putting my money when those 3 years are up and I need a new roof!!
Steve V.Beck roofing just finished my roof. It is a very old house with a challenging roof. They did a great job . Left the jobsite clean every day. Two guys worked very hard . I felt they were very fair with the extra unforeseen dry rot. This is the second roof they have done for me. Would recommend them.
