Founded in 1957 by Ernest Beck with one staff member, Beck Roofing Company was built on the belief that quality service would draw interest. Beck Roofing Company has been a trusted name in the Bay Area roofing industry since its inception. In 1973, Ernie's son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Mary, upheld the same standards of quality and customer satisfaction that Ernie established nearly 60 years ago. They, along with their son Brian, manage the company, adhering to the traditional values that clients expect. Even as our materials and techniques have progressed, our promise to our customers will never waver. Now and in the future, you can trust that a Beck will always be there to support your roofing requirements.
Charlie Beck was only 10 when his father, Ernest, decided to provide customers with the quality they rightfully expected. Through after-school and weekend work with his father, he mastered the art of providing excellent service for re-roofing tasks. Aside from his college education and military service, Charlie developed his expertise as a skilled roofer and a capable administrator and estimator. Rather than resorting to aggressive sales techniques, he takes a sincere interest in every individual he meets, aiming to deliver optimal value. Charlie and Mary took over the management of Beck Roofing in 1973. Their son Brian graduated from Cal Poly in 2001, becoming the third generation to join the family business.

Leonard A.After our last rain I found that I had a roof that was leaking. Being that it was over 30 yrs old I felt that I needed to replace it. There are a lot of roofers out there but Beck Roofing came as promptly as possible to do an estimate that I considered fair and honest. Since they have been roofing for so long I decided to have them do the job. It took a while to get started as they have been busy. But the work took 5 days to completion. It was a lot of work, their crews were very polite and worked very hard. I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up each day. The total job cost a little more than the original quote because of some dry rot and suggestions to improve the overall quality and longevity of the job. I am very pleased with the quality of their work and would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
During the final inspection the inspector was impressed with the quality of their work!

We had visible dry rot on some of the exposed beams, and Brian Beck pointed out that this could mean that his original quote might have to be adjusted up. He kept us well informed throughout the process, and we feel went above and beyond to make sure that we were kept up to date with what was found when the old roof was lifted. The job started with lots of folks (ripping up the old shingles) and then went down to one roofer who did an exceptional job. The new roof looks amazing! We would be willing to recommend Beck to anyone wanting a new roof, dry rot or not!
