Ambar Nir, wrangles a team of very professional contractors. They did extensive roofing for us and water-damaged wall and flooring repairs with attendant painting.
They also replaced a very old and worn out back fence and gate with one that perfectly matches our fencing and works flawlessly and is much more stable than the old fence.

If you are considering a bathroom remodel, I strongly advise you to add Be Green Builders to your list of GCs to interview. I met with 5 contractors and narrowed it down to Be Green and one other. While I didn't end up going with Be Green in the end, it was a very close decision and I will definitely look to them for consultation on future projects for the following reasons:
- Gal is clearly knowledgeable and organized; he is readily able to call up examples of past work he's done and also learns what you like/don't like quickly to adjust his recommendations. He is honest about costs and sets expectations well, and he is a consummate professional. He took the time to put a 3D rendering together where he worked through the overall layout and even the design details in real-time for our second meeting. Despite not winning the business this time around, he was a professional through and through.
- Paul at dispatch is incredibly responsive. First one to reach out to me when I put out an RFP.

We had several contractors take a look at our bathroom remodel. Many of them had images and documents strewn across their computers and often couldn't find what they were trying to show us. However, when Nir from Be Green Builders visited, one of the main things that caught my attention immediately was how organized he was. The way I see it, if someone can't even organize their presentation material, how can I expect them to be thorough and detail-oriented with my project? Thankfully, Nir was on point and was extremely efficient discussing our needs/wants and showing us similar examples of his previous projects so that we could hone in on what was needed. He was very easy to work with and never pushy.

Communication with Nir throughout the project was excellent. He responded to texts quickly and answered all of our questions patiently. We got along quite well. He is very passionate about what he does.

Finally, the BIGGEST thing for us (besides the work being done well, which it certainly was) was that we asked for a rushed completion since we were going to be hosting a baby shower within 4 weeks. Nir got it done in 3, and that was including a delay caused by the city of LA being backed up on inspections. We are so happy that we had the house all back to normal with a sparkling new permitted bathroom so soon after the consultation visit.

All in all, we would definitely use Nir again.

Out for the evening, we returned to a burst pipe and extensive damage that turned out to be far worse than we imagined that evening and required relocation. After water remediation that dragged on for well over five week (arranged by insurance) we began to meet we contractors to put our house back together. On the basis of reviews we contacted Nir (along with two others) and he gave the most prompt, fair, pleasant response, doing everything to meet our deadline. He forged ahead and indeed carried out the extensive renovation in less than a month, returning our house to us ""new and improved"", with far better workmanship than when we purchased it. I would not hesitate to hire Be Green Builders again

We did a pretty major remodel (kitchen, bathroom, remove a weight-bearing wall, etc.) and we're pretty nervous going in to it. BGB and Nir were really great at helping us navigate through the whole process. From design decisions to fixtures to appliances, they helped us choose without pressuring us and communicated regularly about schedules and expectations. Also, they were always available and immediately responsive when we had questions or needs. There were no hidden charges and everything was up front. Most importantly, we're VERY satisfied with the result. We would definitely recommend you speak to them if considering a remodel to your home.

I came to Nir and his team when I was on a tight deadline to fix water damage in my kitchen before a new renter moved in. He was honest, knowledgeable and very helpful in the process of documenting everything for my insurance claim. I will definitely keep them in mind for future work.

We were excited to have Nir and Be Green Builders come and do our remodel. After many meetings with Nir, we had discussed a timeline, budget and course of action. We were very disappointed with the outcome as it seems as though none of these agreed to items were done to our satisfaction. The main issues we had were:

1. Floors where not protected with plastic/paper once installed and the painters got paint all over them
2. Refrigerator Trim kit was installed incorrectly and they drilled hole it is. Had to rebuy the kit.
3. Damaged cabinet when installing appliances
4. Damaged tv console because they didn't cover/protect the furniture in the house
5. Refrigerator trim kit fell off within a month of them installing because they didn't install it correctly the third time
6. Paint on mirror that will not come off, Paint on cords in living room window treatment
7. Electrical outlet was put in the wrong place, had an appliance specialist come out. It could have caused a fire if the oven was on since the cords were hitting the vents. I find it really disturbing that his electrician or foreman didn't pick up on this and the range was installed for 2 weeks. It's a good thing I didn't try to cook before having the appliance specialist come out.
8. Touch up paint was never the same as the paint job requiring them to come back over and over again to repaint the walls and ceilings.
9. Admitted that paint job wasn't good and still had us pay for it
10. Paint job on stair railing starting to peel within a month.
11. Left job before completed and doesn't want to collect last payment of $950
12. Not professional
13. rarely on the job to manage the project
14. appears to have subbed out most of the work( floor, pain, cabinets, electrical)
15. Never same crew so there is no communication
16. All the work is sloppy!

Bottom line is that the work that was done was generally sloppy. The work was wildly behind schedule (original quote was for 30 days, total time to completion was around 120) and the general responsiveness and ownership was sub par. Had I known all of this I never would have hired Be Green Builders, and will not use them for our future work.

We recommend Be Green Builders without reservation. Nir and his staff are communicative, detail oriented and do high quality work. The construction site was left tidy daily. Our master bath remodel turned into an urgent need when our shower floor leaked. We had Nir and his team gut the entire bathroom and the finished product is stunning. Love our new bathroom oasis. We will be having them work on other projects!

Nir has an excellent sense of design and space planning, and an ability to share his ideas and expertise while understanding our taste and working within budget. He was always on time (and even early!) for our appointments, extraordinarily well organized and attentive to every little detail. He is extremely cooperative and easy to work with, and did a great job. His sources for materials and fixtures were first rate and I rarely had to make extra trips to find what We wanted. We would recommend him to our friends and colleagues without reservation since he did a superb job In designing our home purchased recently.

So, after putting off some work in the kitchen/dining area of our 1920's home, the issue finally became so bad that we had to get a contractor out and ""face the music"". Water damage from the recent rains we have been experiencing here in Los Angeles led to some serious damage to the walls -- which are plaster! We reached out to several construction companies/contractors including Be Green.

Although most people that we reached out to were professional and personable, we were most impressed with Eyal from Be Green. He was engaging from the start and very patient as we asked him tons of questions about what needed to be done.

To our surprise Eyal came the next day and hand delivered a preliminary proposal with a very through scope of work. We were expecting to hear back in a few days. He recognized, without need to be told the time sensitive nature of the project. When he arrived, he went over the proposal in great detail, again answering all of the questions that we had. We informed him that we needed some time to discuss the proposal and also review some other bids. At no point, did we feel pressure from Eyal to go with his company -- he had a cool since of confidence, which I appreciated.

As a result of his patience, professionalism and overall wonderful demeanor, we awarded him the project and he and his team are set to get started later this week. We are excited to see the finished results and I will of course keep you posted!
