This company is incredible! The most professional, nice and considerate construction firm I've ever had the pleasure to work with and I hope to use them again. I've referred them to at least five neighbors in the few short weeks since they installed our new roof. They are thorough, well priced, on time and do an excellent job. Their crew is pleasant and very considerate, especially to our old dog who was so curious about all of them. They really are the gold standard of what construction companies should be - trustworthy and with loads of integrity.

Needed a repair. Had a good start, therefore I give one star. Got a receptionist to answer the phone and an appointment at least. Had to wait, but that was fine.
Greg came for an estimate; but never gave us one. Said he would email an estimate and never did. Emailed him and he never responded. Seems other yelpers had the same experience.
If you are not interested in doing the job; or can't-- just say so. Thats just common courtesy and good business practice. What a waste of time.

I am very satisfied with their work. Dean Mouser have even exceeded what he drafted to the contract by taking extra mile to satisfy his client. Although not the lowest bidder, the team of Bay Valley Contractor knows what they are doing. I have a flat roof house with roof frame damaged from the weight of the clay tiles on mansard roof. Bay Valley Contractors fixed the damaged roof frame with their experienced carpenters, installed Gerard metal roof around mansard roof slope surfaces, and laid an 80 mil IB pvc membrane with dense deck beneath the existing foam on my flat roof for a reliable waterproofing. The white pvc membrane is an effective thermal heat barrier and the existing foam is for insulation. They did not remove the existing foam membrane on my roof because it does not show visible water damage or dry rot underneath the deck during inspection. My house is cooler during summer without running the AC and keeps it warm during winter. I am overbudget with this project but it is me who requested quality materials. I expected Bay Valley Contractor to deliver a quality work with quality materials because the roof is the most important part of the house and it must be done correctly right at the first time. I told Dean that I wanted my roof to last my entire lifetime. The pvc membrane have 25 years warranty and I am sure it will last way longer than that.

I should give them 5 star for their quality workmanship but only gave 4 because the project took over a month. This is due to some of the workers not showing up for few days and not hauling the garbage right away as it piles up during construction. No big deal since I do not entertain visitors in the house during construction.

I must also give credit to Jose, the metal roofer. He works very hard and loves his work. Very detail oriented person, takes pride of his craftsmanship and does his work alone in a 100 deg heat!

I will consider hiring them again on my next project.

After last winters heavy storms I discovered that I had a leak in my roof (caused by Dish Network installer going on my roof to install the satellite dish and breaking tiles by walking on the roof). Unbeknownst to me the tiles had been broken for years and after many years of being rained on the underpayment deteriorated to the point that the water came inside the attic and down to the upstairs ceiling inside the home. After about six weeks of trying to find a roofer and not getting any calls backs, I found Bay Valley Contractors. Ryan informed me they did not service my area and referred me to two other roofing companies and informed me that if I did not get a call back he would send somebody out. Needless to say the two roofing companies never responded to my calls. Ryan sent Dean Mouser out and he did a thorough inspection of my roof, took photos of the areas with damaged tiles and also found an area with dry rot. Because I have had other areas of my home where I have discovered that the builder used cheap products, I asked Dean if he felt I should replace the entire roof to ensure that I had a reliable roof. Because of my ignorance, Dean could have easily said yes and made me pay for a new roof but he was honest and explained that in spite the problem areas, my roof was in excellent condition. I was later sent an estimate for the repairs which I agreed to. After paying the deposit, an appt was was scheduled. The workers were on time the date of repairs - I came home for lunch and they were preparing to get started. When I returned after wrk 4 hours later they were done. There was no evidence that they had been at my home. They cleaned up any debris that was caused by the repairs. Needlessly to say, I was totally satisfied with the customer service and professionalism of everyone at Bay Valley - Ryan Diaz, Dean Mouser, Nancy Burger and the team that came out and completed the repairs. (It's hard to find companies that value and provide great customer service)

Dean also provided me with an estimate for solar at time he did the estimate for the roof repairs. While it is not the cheapest estimate that I have received, because of the great experience I had with Bay Valley, Dean's honesty and the fact that he didn't take advantage of me, I will be giving Bay Valley my business for solar.

I know this isn't much related to the work or anything but maybe your company should invest in cameras for your trucks. Today at around 12pm on hwy 24 I was on my way to work when one of your company truck drivers was doing who knows what on their phone that almost cost me an accident. He didn't look in his mirror or his blind spot, not even his turn signal was on and he pretty much cut me off really bad in which resulted me hitting my brakes like my life depended on it which it did and then after I had to quickly speed up because I had a semi behind me and I didn't want to get rear ended or possibly worse. Maybe you guys should talk to your workers about texting and driving and possible consequences if they do not follow through because nothing may have happened to me but someone else may not be so lucky.

Four years ago I wrote a positive review about Bay Valley because I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. But, perhaps the best judgement of a company's quality is how well they stand behind their work. I recently had a problem with a gutter that didn't properly drain, and once again they did not disappoint. They responded promptly and fixed the problem. Although minor, it shows they value their customers. I highly recommend Bay Valley.

You know you have a complicated roof when 3 roofing specialist come out to quote u and never return. Too many peaks and valleys, big flat spots and way to steep...even a popular solar company declined to install solar.

These guys are the consummate pros...phenomenal work, on budget and on time....and of course....not a single leak...anywhere. Highly recommended !1

The review I gave on 10-7-2016, which the owner said they did not do any work for me. Interesting, because that day they called me 3 times, emailed me. And made sure they wanted to work this out with me as soon as possible. My option is not to give a review because if I did, I would talk about what mistakes they made from the start of the operation and then apologized for their mistakes after the roof was installed. All structural components should be done prior to roof installation. Period. That is what an excellent roofer does, not after the fact.
