Bay to Bay Roofing was a terrible experience for our family. They were very unprofessional and caused a lot of additional errors and damage to the roof decking and inside of the attic. When requested to inspect the damage they refused. They didn't tarp properly when rain came and caused water damage and water stains on the ceilings. Had I not been constantly writing letters and calling for them to come and fix their mistakes they would've walked away from the job without a care. One of the roofers even came and knocked on my door and asked me to call him a taxi! None of them wore masks and they were very unprofessional. I STRONGLY discourage anyone from using this company for any roof repairs. With SEVERAL errors and unprofessional acts I requested to speak with the owner of the company... the only time he spoke with me was when he came to pick up the payment and did not show much remorse for the additional stress, damage, and errors that his company caused. Please, DO NOT HIRE!

We just had our homes roof in Spring Hill, Hernando county FLA. replaced by Bay to Bay Roofing. Starting with Anthony the owner to Gino the sales rep and Travis the job site forman, we couldn't be happier! Gino helped greatly with the choice of Owens Corning Duration designer series shingles in Summer Harvest. They look positively awesome, giving our home a new and rich attractive look, Thanks Gino!! Travis was on site daily to answer any of our questions or concerns and to make sure the work crew had what they needed so the job went smooth and was completed in 2 days! Thanks Travis!! The work crew did a fabulous job. Finally a BIG thanks to Anthony who I had the pleasure of meeting twice and from the start was knowledgeable and informative, but as a business owner myself more importantly honest and humble.Thank you Anthony!!

We needed roof repair. The estimate guy arrived on time and was very nice. The estimate wAs competitive with other companies. They called to make the appointment for the repair and was on time. They were neat and clean collecting all debris when complete. I am a satisfied customer would recommend

Got a price of $6,500 then half way through had to sign a new contract for $12,000. They said much more rotten wood needed to be replaced. Didn't have the extra cash so had to take out a loan through there financing company at 20%. The company That did my work was Bay to Bay but my contract was with HLV roofing? They told me the subcontract with other companies, but there part of Bay to Bay, odd. Found out a few weeks later the extra charges for wood where not actually used and I paid for material that was not used or needed. Great scam, can't say no when your roof is torn off?

One of the worst experiences. I had an estimate done and was told it would be a week. We currently have a leak that when it rains runs directly into our master closet and in our bedroom. I was told I would be called in a week to schedule the repair. After 3 weeks I called my sales agent and was informed I had never been put on the schedule but the work would be done a week from Monday, a month into it and several leaking storms later. Monday came and went and no workers. I called the office and was told that since it was raining that day, ummmm not at our house, it would be Wednesday due to real rain Tuesday, fine. Wednesday comes and goes, I call Thursday morning well they had to finish up a repair in Tampa Wednesday and Thursday, ummm I have been waiting for a repair for a month but ok, they will be there Friday and Saturday can you see where this is going? Friday afternoon I call at 3:00 could someone please tell me why no one is here. The girl in the office said she had to take herc hild to the doctor so she is not sure but she will call the manager and find out what the deal is she will call me right back. At 4:45 I call them back and she answers and says that she has not heard from him but she promises that she will call me before she leaves the office. Hmmm, it's Tuesday with no call do you think she is still at the office? The worst customer service I have ever had, If you are not going to show up pick up the phone and let a person know. My time is just as important as your time. I not only have to find a new company because this one couldn't be bothered but I have had more damage to my home due to their lack of giving a hoot about a customer, just terrible all the way around.

Had them replace our roof and they did an excellent job, even after an accident they repaired the problem and cleaned up the yard to the point you'd never they were there. I would have no problem recommending them.

Awful communication and customer service. Never could get a call back. Was given a project date and no one ever showed up. Was told they had a scheduling issue and it would be the next day....still nothing. After my 8th unanswered call to the office, I decided to drive to the office to try and find out what's going on. No one could reach any of the ""technicians"" and I was given excuse after excuse. After being told the tech was wrapping up a job and would be at my house in an hour, I went home and waited. 3 hours later, I drove back to the office (Again, after plenty of unanswered calls) and was told they could come out on Saturday. Finally spoke to Jim, the Operations Manager, and was very matter of fact-ly told that I was the problem for coming into the office and ""confronting"" their staff. I didn't know calmly attempting to get information about a job you already put a deposit on was confrontational. While in the middle of explaining the issues I had with the service, and still trying to salvage the contract, I was told ""I'm going to end this call. If you'd like us to show up tomorrow and do the job, we will and that's that"". He had ZERO interest in hearing and/or addressing my concerns and attempted to turn them back on me. I'd rather wait a few more months and find someone else than deal with a company that points the finger back their customers for the inadequacies of their business. I've requested a refund of my deposit and will be posting this review anywhere I can find. BUYER BEWARE!

This is a great company to work with. Their staff is caring and the customer is the number one priority. I highly recommend them if you need a new roof.

I bought a remodeled home in January of this year. All of the interior and much of the exterior had been redone and updated except for the roof which is approximately 15 years old. In February, after a heavy rain, the roof leaked through an exhaust vent into my master bath. I called and got estimates from several roofing companies and ultimately decided on Bay to Bay because they had good online reviews, their employees dressed professionally, and they drove company vans and trucks with Bay to Bay logo on them. They were not the cheapest in estimates by any means. The man who came out to examine my roof and the leak said I needed to replace the flat roof section to fix the problem which would cost me $1620. I said ok and paid the estimate. An hour after they replaced the roof, it rained and the roof leaked again in the exact same spot. After repeated calls and 6 more visits to fix the leak, it appeared they finally got it right as the next few rain storms did not cause the roof to leak. I called the owner Anthony Hloska and argued I shouldn't have to pay the full cost of this repair as it did not fix the problem plus the repeated leaks had damaged my ceiling in the bathroom. He equated roof repair to being an auto mechanic and you can't always be 100% of what the problem is.....AND I had a new flat roof for the money. He did take a $200 off the bill.
But just a few days ago after another heavy rain the roof leaked again.....so now we're up to repair visit 7. Maybe the 7th time is the charm? Oh, and after this last call about the roof, Mr. Hloska suggested there may be additional costs as the leak may due to a different problem. Seriously?! The only good thing I can say about my experience with this company is that they were fast. But honestly, if I were to do this over again, they would not be who I called and they would not be recommended by me.

Worst company ever! Like previous poster said they make a mess of your property and a mess of your roof. No stars!
