I was initially skeptical about the new windows. I was told it could take up to 3 days for the installation. Well, I clearly had no reason to be concerned. Alex and his crew were fabulous. Not only are the windows more gorgeous than I had imagined but their the new siding and window borders are beautiful! Everything is perfect! My windows are extremely tall and I was nervous. I had no need to be. Alex and his crew finished the job in one day including the two coats of paint. I can't say enough about their work ethic and their workmanship! It's stellar!

We didn't even make it through the so called sales pitch. CAT rep repeated several times that he was ""educating"" my wife and I. He claimed that his contractors are great and others are not. I told him I was not interested in his long involved biased view of every other contractor on the continent and that I wanted to talk HVAC as it pertained to my home. He refused and we parted company.
I'm over 70 years old and had been in the trades for 40 yrs., general contractor for 20+ years. Sure didn't need this kid ""educating"" me. They have a very poor sales model from a customer's standpoint. As others here have stated, there was no doubt he was laying the ground work to convince us to pay an excessive amount for whatever work they did.
I am leaving a one star review based on poor salesman attitude and the inability to switch gears.

continuous calls they will not stop. They said they hire a service just to get their appointments and then send a salesman who cannot give you a total cost who doesn't measure your windows and leaves you with no pamphlets no card no phone number(?) if there wasn't this yelp page, I would say they were complete false company that were scoping out my house, but by the looks of their reviews, lots of people have experienced this as well. I say go to hell cat exterior.

Crazy pushy daily calls from their sales team at Kensington. Asked to unsubscribe daily to no avail. Have fun calling me! Reporting to FCC both Cat exteriors and Kensington.

Pushy and misleading sales team. Caught the staff lying multiple times throughout the pitch (providing false names and job titles). I had a sales rep come to my home and give me an outrageous quote for windows (nearly 37k for a 1700 sqft house). When I asked for the quote in writing so I could think about it, they refused. I told them that if they could not produce an actual estimate to review I am not comfortable doing business with them. They went on to call me at least 5 more times on my cell and my place of business to attempt another in home visit, asking questions about my work schedule and if I'd be home this weekend, all the while refusing to give me the details from the first visit. At this point I'm worried that a random person visited my house and checked every window and now knows when I'm home. Beware of this company!

TL;DR: there's a massive sales pitch but the cost was significantly more expensive than competitors

I'm leaving a neutral 3-star review because they didn't actually do any work for me. I'm sure their quality of work is fine and didn't get the impression it would be of poor quality. I'm just giving a heads up to consumers about how CAT works and advise to get different opinions before signing on the dotted line.

Salesperson came into my house and was very friendly. I briefly showed him the unit, he took a picture and then we went inside for his sales pitch. It's a long PowerPoint type presentation talking about how great the company and hvac unit is.

From there comes the pricing and it's a lot of salesmanship about ""one time only"", ""just for you"", ""you have to act now"" talking points. After all the ""discounts"" were applied I was quoted $30,000 for a new HVAC unit and a new electrical panel. After some back and forth about how I need to look more into it and wanted to talk with my dad who knows more about this stuff I got the classic line, ""is there anything I can do to lock you into this today?""

That feels like it was asked because as soon as you research you'll realize the cost difference. I ended up getting the work done for the following: HVAC Unit for about $13.5k, electrical panel with a new car charger in the garage for about $4.5k. That's a difference of more than $10,000. Which I was able to put towards other needed renovations.

We had analin windows installing we had an installer named Serge he was great he called us in the morning to say he wS on the way and ask us to clear the driveway for his truck.
He arrive promptly came and greeted us.ooked at where he was going to be working we had already cleared everything for him so he was set, it took him 6 hours and he was every bit professional and courteous as can be he pick up as he went and vacuumed up his mess and clean up everything.
5 star company and 5 star employees. If you should be the recieptant to have the good fortune of having this young man install your windows you will be forever happy and beyond.

If I could give a 1/2 star or zero, I would. CAT Exteriors is predatory, and has taken advantage of my mother-in-law who is on several medications, and needs around the clock care. Admittedly, she called after seeing an ad, and the salesmen showed up unannounced at her front door last week. My husband found them sitting outside the home for over three hours waiting for her. He explained to the workers that she was in no condition to understand this purchase which entailed placing a lean on her home with a 15k loan (for 15 years at $150/month) for TWO windows! The workers seemed to understand, apologized, and left. However, this morning, I was shocked to hear that they had sent staff to measure regardless. I will be reporting this company to Adult Protective Services (APS) and the California Department of Consumer Affairs in hopes that this will protect older adults from financial exploitation.

We were contacted on a cold call. CAT EXTERIORS offered exterior painting with a lifetime warranty. The Rep came at the scheduled time, took his time to explain the process and yes we did get a significant discount for a sign in a yard for 90 days. The work has not started as of this day but the CAT EXTERIOR inspector came to our home and allowed us to keep the color palette for more days so we could decide on the right color of our house. What was impressive about the company, friendly sales and marketing rep, and the inspector was friendly as well. We will see how their work is when they get started. We had multiple bids on our house of $8000 but the company would charge extra to fix damages in the stucco and wood trimming and would not guarantee for a lifetime.

If I could give them a zero I would, they are very pushy about getting their sale. We had our windows done by them then wanted to do an estimate on the roof, called pretty much everyday, so I finally was like come do an estimate. Quoted about 30,000!! For a roof! I told them no! They continued to harass me and call me after telling them stop calling me. My house burnt down as well, they called me after it happened I told them there is no house to do work and to take me off of the calling list. Then they called me again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take your money somewhere else where they can respect you, all these reviews are lies!!! They tell you to post good reviews for the company so you can get a discounted price!!!! I left a similar review on the google page as well!
