I never write these reviews because I'm usually a little disappointed and I don't want to hurt somebody's business if they're doing their best. If you only call one person to work on your roof call Ruben Frias. He and his crew did a great job. A good price and a high quality result. He climbed up on my roof and gave me a fair quote that very same day. He explained why and what I needed to have done. My job was a brand new composition roof.

Ruben is amazing! I reached out to Bay City Roofing to get a second opinion and Ruben broke down everything that was previously quoted in terms I could understand and how it would need to be fixed. He came to my house and did a full survey of the roof and was able to address everything that was wrong and then some! He gave me a great invoice of all the items that he would fix and he was very prompt with his visit! Also, his quote was extremely competitive, what more can you ask for?

Bay City Roofing is the best roofing company I have ever encountered, and the owner, Reuben, is definitely one of the nicest men I have ever met... a true gentleman with a kind heart.

We had the unfortunate instance of hoarding tenants at our rental property. The day Reuben came to give us an estimate, we were in the process of ridding the house of rooms full of ""stuff"". The first group of haulers refused to do the upstairs. Reuben stepped up and gathered a crew to come and help us the next day. What an angel in our books!

Reuben and his crew are very conscientious and pay great attention to detail when doing the roof. They take care of dry rot and even put mesh wiring in the air pockets so no birds can nest anymore. Reuben keeps you informed every step of the way from estimate to permit process to final inspection approval. They leave the job site better than it looked when they arrived!

Ruben was super easy to work with, professional, and left our exterior home looking better then before he arrived. He arrived on time, and repaired lots of items on our 20 yr old roof. He also did a bunch of other ""roofing"" type repairs that we weren't even aware of, but could have definitely been a problem this winter if not attended to. I was referred to a Ruben by a friend. I needed to solar fans installed in different parts of my roof. He made the job a breeze. He inspected my roof. Picked up matching shingles and completed the job in about an hour. He also went beyond this job and made note of some things that need addressed by the company that installed my panels and even fixed one issue that needed repaired soon.

Top notch work. Honest price. A real great person. If all contractors had this ethic it would be a much better time getting work done.

We had a severe leak in our dining room that was either due to a window with damaged wood framing or our roof. Ruben came out and inspected the damage from the inside and after checking our roof confirmed that that a section of our roof needed to be repaired. He provided pictures of the roof section that needed to be fixed and explained in great detail what needed to be done. We had previously received another quote from a different roofer and Ruben's was more reasonable. He fixed our roof section that day and he also inspected the rest of our roof and gutters to see if there were any other problems that should be addressed. He took pictures again, after he was done, to show what he had done. Ruben is very customer friendly, extremely professional and an expert roofer. I would definitely use Ruben again for future roof issues.

They built my new roof to Title 24 Specs and also the little details like painting my vent stacks to match. Beautiful job!

After obtaining a few estimates for our roof we accepted Ruben's offer. He came to our home on a recent Monday to assess the damage. Came back on Wednesday and repaired our roof in 3 hours time. Ruben discovered that there was water/weather damage under the tiles which caused a major leak. As you know a huge rainstorm came in on Thursday. Thankfully Ruben did an outstanding job before further damage could occur. Ruben is professional, thorough and takes great pride in his expertise as a roofer/journeyman. I would definitely recommend him and his company to others. Outstanding.
