I chose Bay Cities Foam Roofing for a foam roof install on the renovation of our houseboat. Jose and his crew were great. They arrived on time and were very professional. The quality and thickness of the finished roof was better than I expected (this was my third experience with a foam roof). I had 3 other quotes and I chose Jose after meeting him and getting a very reasonable quote. Thanks for a great job guys, we are looking forward to a warm dry winter.

After using their website to send an email inquiry, I received no call back. After 3 days of waiting, I finally called Jose on his mobile phone and he agreed to visit the site and provide us a quote. I then emailed again and called 5 times in two weeks and received no response. Could be a great roofer, but who would know if they never get back to you.

Jose and his workers were not only very professional, but very nice as well. I especially like how the crew not only ensure that my house would be completely protected during the spraying process, but they took the time to asked my neighbors if they can cover up their property/cars as extra precaution. The final result on the roof was very satisfying, and the crew cleaned up everything perfectly. I definitely would use Bay Cities Foam Roofing again if I could. I Highly recommend Jose and his crew to anyone who is thinking of doing a foam roofing system. My foam roof have kept the house so cool, that I have hardly had to use the air conditioner at all. What they say about keeping the property 10 to 15 degrees cooler than a non foam roof (during the summer time) is absolutely true!!

We are always very picky in choosing who to work with. For foaming our roof, we interviewed ~ 10 (all 5 star) companies over the span of about three months. I am going to be very specific about our experience with Bay Cities Foam Roofing (Jose is the main man) and why we are very happy about our decision:

1- Jose is very knowlagable about the codes and standards. We wanted to do everything by the book: lisense, insurance, get a permit and have inspections done at the end. Jose took care of everything himself, and everything went very smoothly (inspectors showed up a couple of times and everything were very carefully done).

2- Most importantly: Jose is a very nice man. He does not pretend to be a nice man, he is genuinely a nice man.

3- The team is very careful, and patient with comments and changes in the plans.

4- The price was fair. I had a quote much higher than Jose, but I cannot see how someone can do a better job that he did.

5- Jose is not just the face of his company to get the project and then subcontract to others. He shows up himself most of the time, instructs the other crews very carefully, and inspects every details. When needed, he rolls up his sleeves and get the job done himself.

6- He is available and responsive over the phone/message/email.

7- We had a guest visiting on Monday, so he - himself alone - showed up on Sunday, and spent several hours to finish the job. Thank you Jose.

8- Bay Cities Foam Roofing provides a 10-years warranty on their projects, which is great. Jose has been in this business for ~ 25 years.

9- Our upstairs was unlivable during hot summer days (due to the roof getting very hot). Now with foam roofing it is wonderful. Thank you Jose.

I called bay cities foam roofing due to an emergency leak from our roof.jose was very quick to respond.it was raining the day he came and he fixed our roof.i liked his professionalism.he shows the picture before and after.we chose jose to do our roof repair and roof cleaning afterwards.him and his guys did a wonderful job.i would definitely recommend jose to everyone in need of any work related to roof.
