Do not ever use this company. The estimator was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. That led us to choose this company. What a HUGE mistake. The crew that performed the work was rushed and inept. The supervisor showed up for about 10 minutes and told the workers they could have a day off if they finished. They worked until late at night (not during daylight savings) and in the dark they had flashlights on their heads. Needless to say, the next day my yard was covered in nails and broken shingles. The soffit was installed incorrectly and the workers just stared at the parts like they had never seen them before. The first time it rained, the roof leaked and the skylight was installed crookedly. The first inspection - failed. Second inspection - failed. Supervisor was mostly absent, never checked anything and was argumentative and nasty. Do not hire these people!!!

They get the job done right!

We had our roof repaired with Bay Area Roofing. The process was seamless! They did everything. Gave us a fair and accurate estimate, pulled the permit, got the work done, cleaned up, and even had someone out to make sure the work was completed properly.

I would definitely recommend them. If I could, I would give them 6 stars!

I called Bay Area roofing to get an estimate on repairing a roof leak. They gave me a two hour window on when their representative would be out to look at my roof. After the window past I called to see if he was still coming and was told he was 10 minutes away, instead of them calling me to let me know he was running behind. He was a half hour late and when he finally got there, spent five minutes and told me my 12 year old roof looked 50 and was caving in and needed to be replaced. He then left and said he would get me an estimate. Five days later still haven't received the estimate. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

I got an estimate to repair my soffit after hurricane Irma and I was very patient knowing they favored big jobs and was put off 6 weeks and then another 6 weeks even though I told them I was putting the house on the market and they promised to do it within the next 6 week window. At the end of the second 6 week window they call me and tell me all their equipment is in the south region for a large job so they can't get to me for another month. Their service is unsat and staff rude and unprofessional.

My elderly father had serious wind damage to his roof in 4/15 which caused water intrusion and ceiling collapse into the living room and we needed immediate assistance before next rain -that day. I contacted several roofing companies in St. Pete and surrounding area and they either didn't call back or couldn't come to even place a tarp for days. It was disappointing.

Then I called Bay Area Roofing and Manager, Joe Disalvatore set a time to immediately come to the home, called a crew and placed temporary roof solution. He took pictures, explained the situation and solution and provided an estimate and arranged for crew to come and repair the next day. Part of the roof was so damaged that it had to be removed and replaced. They provided a fair estimate which was accepted. When the large crew arrived at 0730, they were professional, worked hard all day and completed the job in one day. Joe came by several times to check on progress but also had an on-site manager.

As an Insurance Law Expert and Law School Graduate, I have never experienced a more professional approach to such an urgent situation. The estimate they provided was within that provided by the insurance company; they didn't engage in any unscrupulous practices; they didn't engage in the usual ""bait and switch"" nor did they over estimate the damage in an effort to sell more of their product. In other words, this company provided an HONEST estimate and made good on their promise to show up the next day and complete the work on time. This is so rare these days which is why I elected to write this review. Bay Are Roofing, Inc has been in business since 1983 because they have honest people and deliver a good product, on time, and within affordable limits. This company is your best bet for sure!!!
