I highly recommend Bay Area 5 Star Roofing. The company installed a Standing Seam Metal Roof on my two story home. The workers showed up promptly at the scheduled time to remove my old roof and to install the 24"" steel 16"" width panels. The crew picked up and cleaned up the premises every end of the day. They were polite and conscientious of working on my property. Leo Sandoval, the supervisor, responded to every question I had and gave me timely updates about the roof installation. I love my new metal roof, thanks to Bay Area 5 Star Roofing!

Bay Area Five Star Roofing Company lived up to its company's name. Jesus and his Team had done a Five Star job and provided an excellent service replacing our roof and skylights. They showed a high standard of workmanship.
Corinne, the office manager, did a superb job in working with us on contracts and invoices and scheduling the work timeline. She had provided us with excellent customer service.

Jesus did an amazing job on our roof! It looks incredible! We had an interesting issue as our roof had no gutters and a long (angled inward) fascia. Our rafters were also angled inwards. This made hanging gutters (level) more difficult.

Jesus was able to install our gutters (which looks fantastic), by completely taking off the old fascia, taking off the first row of 2x8 roofing boards and individually cutting each rafter vertically to level the gutters for hanging.

Jesus also cut the bottom of the rafters horizontally so they were flush/level with the bottom of the gutter and ascetically appealing. The rafters would have stuck out below the gutter in an awkward manner otherwise! To top everything off, Jesus painted the horizontally cut section of the rafters for completeness!! His work is amazing, and he is flexible to solution around issues that may arise. I'm extremely happy with the new roof.

I highly recommend Jesus and his team. Corinne, who works in the back office is also lovely to work with and very accommodating.

I've had many quotes for roofing around the area and Five Star's pricing was very reasonable. Corinne was also very on top of everything and super helpful with scheduling and payments. I can't recommend this business enough. My wife and I decided we wanted to get a metal roof and went about getting bids. We got several bids that were ALL over the place and were intimidated and a bit discouraged with the results. We were on the verge of just doing regular shingles when I ""stumbled"" across this company's contact info. Jesus came out on the same day and gave us a most reasonable bid. He explained that while the roof itself would last a long time, eventually things like the flashings would have to be serviced. We appreciated the transparency that we didn't get with the other bids. He showed us other houses nearby that they had installed metal roofs on. This was very comforting to us and we ended up going forward with Bay Area Five Star Roofing for our metal roof. Leo and his team did a fantastic job over a two week period. You can tell they really care about what they do. They take pride in their work and it shows. Corrine made things super easy to understand and provided documentation when we wanted to make sure we could install solar panels on the metal roof. Months later during solar panel installation, we needed a hole drilled in the roof for the conduit. Bay Area Five Star Roofing came out and coordinated with our solar installers where the hole should be. It took me a day or two to realize the conduit hole had been drilled. I reached out to Corrine asking how much I owed for the convenience and service and she told me nothing was owed. Based off how professional, courteous, and kind they all were with us I can't say that I didn't expect this response, but it was still very heartening. These are good people who you can trust. Thank you guys.

Jesus knows what he's doing. Corinne, the stellar assistant, answered all of our questions within seconds of our text sending, coordinated schedules, and made sure we were informed about everything. We received some of the best service since I cannot remember when. Five Star Roofing came highly recommended by someone that has worked on our house in the past. It has been a little over 20 years since our roof has received any attention, and these were the guys to do it. The workers were fast, efficient, and took pride in the work they did. They happened to be working during the heat spike here in the Bay Area not too long ago, and they did it with no complaints. They were knowledgeable about all the permits and requirements needed for the this job to get done. They were friendly, with good manners, and after each day they worked, they cleaned up very well. The city came by to inspect the roof as it is required, and that climb left a dent on the new roof storm drains. We pointed it out one of the workers and he said they would come and replace it. Not only they keep their word, they did it on a holiday. I really appreciate the work that they did, and I hope that if you are reading this, you will give them your business. They are also available to work with anyone who speaks Spanish, and again they are very friendly. Thank you for the hard work, and giving our home the much needed new roof.
