We had a new roof put on in July 2024. Charles, our sales manager, was awesome. The crew that installed the new roof was fantastic. They took their time and worked tirelessly in extreme heat. The clean up was perfect. Although it was expensive, I believe we received a superior product with a great warranty.

The problem comes with their referral program and ""free cruise"". There is no follow-up, nor will anyone return our phone calls nor follow up on e-mails we have sent. Our neighbor referred us, and we referred another person. Neither my neighbor, nor we, have received a dime for our referrals. I e-mailed the admin person we worked with in July, no response. Phoned Batterbee in October. Spoke with Carolyn. Found out the person I e-mailed had left the company. No one was watching her e-mails! Carolyn told me she would leave a message with Marcie, the manager, and also asked me to e-mail her, which I did. No response to my e-mail nor did I receive a follow-up phone call. We then received an e-mail from Keith Batterbee inquiring about our roof install experience on November 6th. We responded to him right away, about the lack of a legitimate referral program. No response. So, Batterbee has received $50k in business between my neighbor and us and they have not given us a dime for the referrals. And, please just forget about getting a free cruise. That program is also a sham! The product is good, the install is awesome, but once your roof is on, Batterbee blows you off!

I recently had a leak due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I then called Batterbee unfortunately they were not able to effect a repair because the ""salesperson"" was unable to locate where it had leaked on the outside despite being able to see where it had left a stain on the ceiling on the inside.
I found it a little odd that they said they would send out a salesman and not a repair specialist when I initially called but brushed it off at the time. The salesperson made a good pitch for their solar exhaust fan which I fell for even though they were charging at least double for it. The 1st scheduled day for installation it rained so it was scheduled for the following week. No one ever showed and I was not contacted. called the following day to find out what happened. Their installer was out sick for the entire week but no one had taken the time to notify the customer, of course when I called they wanted to schedule it for a 3rd time and I replied no, I would like my 10% down payment refunded which they have refused to return.

A couple of years ago, I called them to see if they could inspect my roof, as my insurance was going up if I did not replace it. They came out, went up on my roof, looked all around and came down and said my roof was fine and did not need to be replaced. They could have sold me a roof at that time, but opted to tell me the truth. I love companies that do that.

Batterbee installed the roof on our new home in 2020. In less than 4 years we discovered a stain on our ceiling. We had a leak in the roof. The sprayed insulation held the water until in no longer could. Called Batterbee, they said they no longer did residential in Palm Coast and they would not come out and check their installation. Hired another company to find the leak and fix it. They did and they concluded that shoddy installation caused the leak. Our builder no longer uses Batterbee because he had another customer that experienced a leak in a new build and Batterbee was the roofer. Not only is their workmanship poor their customer service is also, rude and combative.

I contacted Batterbee Roofing in late July to replace the roof on my house. They were at my house the next day to review my needs for the roof. The work was completed today and they did a very professional job. After the work was finished they picked up everything in my yard and anything that had blown into my neighbors yards. They made sure there were no nails or tacks in the grass or driveway. Matt Woods was very professional in over -seeing this job. I will definitely recommend Batterbee Roofing and Matt Woods to anyone asking me about the work that was done.

Working with Batterbee Roofing was easy from the beginning contacting them. The salesman Charles was excellent explaining all aspects of replacing our roof & what we would need. Michele was wonderful keeping us posted weekly on the status of our materials. Once the materials came in Batterbee was very accommodating to our schedule. Emanuelle over saw the job perfectly. He got in touch with us the day before and kept us updated as the work went on until completed. Then did a final walk around and did not leave until he knew we were completely satisfied. The guys doing the work were wonderful, respectful of our property. Did a big job in a short amount of time when the temperatures were so high. They made sure everything was cleaned up and looked like no work had ever taken place except for a beautiful new roof.
