I whole-heartedly 100 percent recommend Battalion Roofing owned by Stephen Lawlis for any roofing project. From start to finish, Stephen is a professional gentleman. I sought five bids, and he was hands down my first choice. His was not the cheapest nor the most expensive bid. But he was the contractor whose advice I felt most comfortable with. The evening before the project, Stephen met the materials delivery to ensure the pallets were placed in the best position for the next day's work. The next morning Stephen and his crew arrived precisely on time. They tarped two-sides of our two and one-half story stucco home to protect it as well as laid protective sheeting on our landscaping. Then they immediately began removing the old shingles. His crew is a well-oiled machine. One crew member continuously walked the grounds picking up debris. Both of my neighbors were notified, and they both remarked how clean the project site was kept. Once the old shingles were removed and settled in the dumpster, they set up a lift that carried the packets of new shingles up. The afternoon flew by in a steady stream of expert and efficient work all done under Stephen's careful watch. And once it was done, the cleaning began. Not a speck of visible debris was left. Every piece of plastic, shingle scrap, tape, old tarp, etc. was removed. Even the crumbles of the old shingles were leaf-blown and swept up. By 5:00 pm our home was spotless with a beautiful new roof.

Great experience overall. Quickly came by the home and gave us a quote including the sketch. We talked through why each area needed a gutter and Stephen was very flexible on changing the plan to meet our needs. Price was reasonable compared to other quotes we got, and most importantly the gutters look lovely and really fit the house, which was our biggest concern with adding the gutters.

Had entire roof of house and a garage apartment replaced about 2 months ago. So far so good with the roof itself. After getting 5 contractors bids I chose Stephen bc of Yelp reviews, timely responses to questions and start dates, and he was clearly invested in delivering a good product/service at a fair price. Unlike most other roofing companies that send high pressure sales persons out to bid, Stephen himself came out and I didn't feel pressured. I also had a pre-existing issue that I thought getting a new roof would fix, but turned out to be unrelated to the roof, and Stephen was able to assist in fixing the problem. Go with Battalion if you want quality workmanship and even better customer service (before and after).
