I really wanted to like this Family owned Company but they made it so hard.
They were to come out and do some roof repair and then install new gutters on the house. They completed the job and left. From a far it looked fine. Upon closer inspection the backside of the house had holes in about 7 spots that didn't line up with the nails. So my brand new seamless gutters had holes in them. Eventually they responded to my calls and emails and had a employee and this two children (maybe 13ish) come out and help complete the redo job.

Great work at a great price. No increases in price after work started..and they kept to their schedule...even started a few weeks earlier than committed. They even cleaned the yard when the gutters drained when they cleared them from roofing materials. No materials left, sound work. They were the best price out of a dozen other roofers. I would recommend them again.

Barth did a pressure wash on my older but waterproof Tile roof.
First rain after had water leaking in kitchen. They sent an employee to check, he spent 5 min. fooling with flashing and left.
Next rain, water leak at same spot. Going on 2 weeks of waiting for reply to call and text.

We had roofing done by this company - NOT - because we chose them , but because we decided to go Solar and in order to do THat - it was apparently Necessary to have the shingle roof replaced with composition. While we have had good interactions with the Solar company (at least so far - but they have not Done the Solar part yet - due to repeated Delays with the roofing,) our experiences with this roofing company have NOT been ideal -- including multiple delays in completing the job, which caused us to have rain while not having a roof on our house, repeatedly leaving the gates open when they left, either for lunch or the day so that our dog would get out when we would put him out in the backyard after they left. Additionally we left for a week while they were supposed to be working on our roof and when we returned a week later it was obvious that very little had been done and there was a very large mess left in our yard and flowerbeds that had just been left there without being cleaned up. Including a huge branch off of a bush (that had been trained into a tree) was Broken off from all the stuff that they had thrown down off of the roof. When calling the Solar company - they were very responsive to our concerns and mentioned that the roofing company stated that they had been waiting on an inspection... but it was obvious that the inspection had been completed and yet returning to finish the roofing on OUR house was obviously Not a priority for them because it was several days later before they returned (AFTER the inspection was done) to resume work -even though we had rain forecasted which did happen. All of this doesn't even include one interaction with one of the roofers who came down to the front door to complain to me while I was trying to cook- - about smoke coming out of the chimney stating that he was allergic to smoke. That interaction was unpleasant because although I tried to let them know that I would see what I could do about stopping the smoke as soon as I could,When I was trying to tell this to the worker he repeatedly interrupted me to reinforce his point that he could not stand the smoke and would not let me finish my sentences. It was simply rude.

Save yourself some stress and go with another company. There are much better ones out there. I can't even begin to get into all the crap we had to go through with this company, trust me on this, don't hire Barth roofing. PS ...it's not even a one star. But had to give it a rating

I recently hired Barth Roofing for the second time expecting exceptional service as I had gotten previously. First I was quoted a price verbally as I was taking notes as I was calling from my desk. Speaking to the person the next day, he said it was $50 more... I told him I had written notes in my hand from the previous day, but nevermind when could it be done? When the job was done, I came home to see the same rotted fascia board and called the office. When I called the office, the gentleman told me that they did the work I had asked for. I told him thanks for any other thing they may have fixed, but they had not fixed what I had asked for. I reminded him that what I had requested they repair, I saw from the ground. He accused me of trying to get something for free. I told him I was willing to pay for what I asked for. I reminded the gentleman that I still had the picture on my phone that I had sent him. He claimed there was no such picture. I called to speak to the owner twice, but since he would not hear my story, maybe the next person will get better service than I did.

The bid was written November and the work completed in May! Very shabby work including many ""shiners"" as they replaced a few boards on the roof. They painted the rain gutters with 2 inch brushes. It looked like a 3 rd grade art work. They did not cover my plants or river rock below their paint job so now we have painted plants and painted rocks. In defense of the owner, Scott he did come out to view this mess when I called him but the quality of the work from his company is second rate.

I had Barth Roofing do some extensive repairs on my roof a little over a year ago (new valleys and other tile work). They had a fair price and did a very good job, even added a little extra work that really made me feel confident and comfortable with the repair.

I just called them today to take a look at my dryer roof vent to make sure there were no issues. Ezequiel (the awesome rep who was also the one I worked with for the initial repair) came out the same day and did a thorough inspection, even took pictures to show me what he founded (there was no problem, just me being overly cautious).

Very impressed with Ezequiel and Barth Roofing, they clearly stand by their work and their warranties. I will definitely be using them when it's finally time for a new roof.

Exciting new home purchase!
A VA home loan requires a termite inspection, which recommended a roof inspection. We called Barth Roofing based on past performance and reputation experience. Barth knew the urgency in a Sale Transaction that we needed the inspection quick. There were a few minor repairs needed and a 2 year roof certification required for underwriting.
