Matt Rosso owner Barbic Roofing did a great job on full roof replacement. When additional structural repair was needed. He got Dwight Goss contractor to do that and then came back to finish roof. Guy's gutters did a great job and he coordinated them too.

Barbic Roofing has never actually done a job for me since I am also a roofing contractor.
I'm writing this review because I've known owner Matt Rosso for a long time and I know he has a lot of experience. From the time I first met Matt, he has always been a man of integrity, and if I didn't own a roofing business myself (Ron Williams Certified Roof & Inspection) I would not hesitate to use barbic roofing for all my Roofing needs.

We had our roof replaced by Barbic Roofing about 15 years ago and they did excellent work. We recently noticed a minor leak to our ceiling and called Barbic to inspect the area to see if we needed to get a repair done. Matt came out for the inspection said he saw a couple of spots that may be our problem and he did the repair needed. We asked how much we owed him and he said ""nothing"". Now how many times does that happen? Matt is a super nice fellow and very fair. All my referrals only goes to Barbic Roofing.

I recently purchased a rental property in Santa Cruz, but am located in San Jose. It's the middle of winter, and we are redoing one of the units and my drywall contractor noticed there was a leak coming from the roof and I called four roofing contractors in the Santa Cruz area. Two didn't respond, one was 3 weeks out, but Matt of Barbic Roofing (who is very busy himself) promptly returned my call. He knew that rains were coming within two days and he prioritized me and properly diagnosed the issue. It's a membrane roof in mostly good shape and Matt quickly found matching material to patch a 10X10 foot area...all this within 24 hours and charged a very fair price. He followed up with before and after photos. This is super rare that any contractor would have such trust to perform the job (in between many other jobs) without meeting the client first. It's acts like this which will allow me to manage the property at a distance. Thanks Matt, your company is top notch, and will be calling you for any future roofing needs.

I had a complicated roof (storybook home) and needed to cut into it to add some new vents. Not only to Matt do a great job but he made sure the vents matched the existing roof style. He also added a new membrane to a flat section of roof that always leaked. In the 5 years since, it's never leaked once! Fantastic work, good prices, stands behinds his work. No one better!

After we purchased our retirement home (which was about 17 years old), I wanted to have the roof and it's fixtures checked out--even though it looked fine to me. I learned that Matt and Barbic had installed the original roof.

Pat Doherty, the original builder, said that he won't use anyone except Matt for his roofs.

Matt came out and carefully went over the entire roof. He found some gaskets around some vents that were getting old and so he replaced them (at no charge.) He also sent out one of his ""detail"" men to freshly paint some of the metal vents and roof appliances at a super reasonable cost.

Most of all, he just seems to be one of those skilled artisans that really cares about the work that he does. I think he's earned his great reputation and I highly recommend Barbic Roofing.

Matt Rosso is the best. He came over during a stormy week and papered my roof to keep it from leaking Then gave me a great bid; did excellent work ; arrived promptly. When his guys left the yard was perfect with no debris and blown clean hire these guys as they are super!

Matt has done two roof's for us and we think he is great! Yep, sometimes he is hard to get hold of but once he does a job for you he's yours for life. He talked me out of spending to much money but still getting a great solid roof.
