Formerly known as Ayunies Construction Inc., we are now Bananas Group Inc. Eight years ago, we shifted our focus. Roofing, Plumbing, and Emergency Services are our core offerings. We are fully licensed and insured in the state and have been operating since 2004.

Mr. Leyva graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1993 with a degree in Architecture. In 2008, he took a role at AECOM, consulting on flood damage for FEMA in Iowa. His role as Chief Estimating Officer involved evaluating flood damage to public infrastructure like schools and roads. Later, Mr. Leyva was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance as an Insurance Adjuster. He personally evaluated over 400 hurricane roof claims in 2010. In 2011, he transitioned to an Independent Adjuster role in North Carolina after Hurricane Irene. That same year, he founded Bananas Group, Inc. (BGI), which became the parent company of Ayunies Construction Inc.

After leaving Liberty Mutual in 2011, BGI and Mr. Leyva resumed general construction, roofing, and plumbing services. BGI also engaged in damage assessments, construction consulting, and estimating.
