Bananas Group Inc. was previously Ayunies Construction Inc. Our focus has been refined over the past eight years. Our primary services include Roofing, Plumbing, and Emergency Disaster Services. We are fully licensed and insured in the state and have been operating since 2004.

In 1993, Mr. Leyva earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University. Mr. Leyva worked with AECOM in 2008, overseeing flood damage evaluations for FEMA in Iowa. His role as Chief Estimating Officer involved evaluating flood damage to public infrastructure like schools and roads. He then worked as an Insurance Adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance. He personally evaluated over 400 hurricane roof claims in 2010. In 2011, he transitioned to an Independent Adjuster role in North Carolina after Hurricane Irene. He launched Bananas Group, Inc. (BGI) in 2010, which took over Ayunies Construction Inc.

In 2011, after his time at Liberty Mutual, BGI and Mr. Leyva returned to general construction, roofing, and plumbing. BGI also engaged in damage assessments, construction consulting, and estimating.
