Formerly known as Ayunies Construction Inc., we are now Bananas Group Inc. We changed our focus eight years ago. We specialize in Roofing, Plumbing, and Disaster Emergency Services. We have been in business since 2004, licensed and insured in Florida.

In 1993, Mr. Leyva earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University. Mr. Leyva worked with AECOM in 2008, overseeing flood damage evaluations for FEMA in Iowa. As Chief Estimating Officer, he assessed flood damage to public properties, including schools, roads, and bridges. Mr. Leyva transitioned to Liberty Mutual Insurance as an Insurance Adjuster. He personally evaluated over 400 hurricane roof claims in 2010. In 2011, after leaving Liberty Mutual, he became an Independent Adjuster in North Carolina following Hurricane Irene. He launched Bananas Group, Inc. (BGI) in 2010, which took over Ayunies Construction Inc.

After leaving Liberty Mutual in 2011, BGI and Mr. Leyva resumed general construction, roofing, and plumbing services. They offered damage assessments, consulting on construction, and estimating services.
