Baker Roofing could not fix the leaks they were hired to stop. They did come out numerous times to try to fix the leaks but could not do it. Then, after taking a lot of money said they quit. And they said they should have never quoted our job but they were low on work. There is enough fine print in the contact so there is no recourse. NEVER USE THEM! They are great talkers!

My roof had leaked and I was afraid of more damage.
Most of all of my neighbors had Baker Roofing do their
roofs and they gave him a very good review.
He did my roof quickly and it looks very nice.
Also, he replaced one board that was bad. His guys
put on 2 vents on the roof and they helped keep
my house cooler hence lowering my electricity
bill... The men who worked for him were polite and
friendly when I talked to them.

We reached out to Baker right at the start of COVID because of concerns that our roof was leaking. They came over and went on the roof and told us we needed at $1500 repair which would require ripping up and entire section of roof. I requested an estimate in writing and the owner was reluctant and wanted me to commit to the job right away. I finally got an estimate but it included a disclaimer that the roof repair ""may not solve the leak issue."" We got a second opinion and not only did we NOT have a leak, the other roofer found the problem was a small pipe in our attic and fixed it, for free! Come to find out from other roofers and contractors that Baker has a reputation for high prices and doing work that doesn't need to be done. No wonder they didn't want to promise the leak would be fixed, they knew my roof was fine! In the middle of an economic meltdown, they took advantage of a family in need. Shame.

With his fair price I definitely felt taken advantage of when receiving the other much higher quotes with unnecessary suggested repairs they said I needed. December 2017 install ~ Not only was Baker Roofing one of the cheapest of 6 bids I got, Larry recommend Energy Star Shingles for a Federal TAX Credit, he also was the only contractor to recommend or offer to fix the eave cutout on my roof for the old non-existing swamp cooler, install 2 turbine exhaust fans and 6 extra inches of extra insulation blown into my attic, he also installed new lens covers for the old solar light tubes I have in my kitchen. He also hooked me up with a quality rain gutter contractor to really finish the job. Larry was a fantastic contractor, and I would highly recommend him!
Only bummer was I'm still finding pieces of the old roof tear-off and nails in my flower beds and rock landscaping...a small price to pay for all the extras Larry and Baker Roofing provided.

PS. It was 86 degrees today and my house stayed under 75 without running the central A/C!! Thanks Larry!

Recently, I learned of Baker Roofing from an HVAC Contractor that I have been happily using, figuring that he deals with roofers frequently, and this would be a good start. I'm glad I did, he referred me to Larry Baker. Larry did a competitive bid along with 2 other qualified roofers that were also licensed, bonded and insured. He won the bid, and made a recommendation to add insulation in the attic since the old roof would be removed. Here again, a great idea at a very competitive price. He performed all the work as stated, on time, clean, with full communication on what he would be doing. Aesthetically, he and his crew did a great job! I anticipate many years of good roof wear, along with the additional insulation, a better electric bill and my HVAC unit to work a lot less. I would recommend Larry Baker to give you a bid!
