Ted Baker, is a fourth-gen leader at our family business, a complete electrical contracting firm operating since 1938. For almost 30 years, Ted has been part of the company's senior management team and became the role of President of Baker Electric Inc. in 2000. Later, in 2007, Ted launched Baker Electric Home Energy and serves its CEO. Ted oversees all company operations alongside President and the senior management team at Baker Electric Home Energy. Currently, the company has 223 staff members. Ted's attention is clearly on shaping the company's home energy strategy while upholding Baker Electric's tradition and respected brand.

I went with Baker because of the reputation for customer service. I've had solar 3 years and one panel needs a new micro inverter and labor is almost 1000. I have not recouped the cost of my panels yet and one is already bad. I've spent so much money and I expected to not have to have repairs for a long time. Very disappointed.
My landlord had Baker Electric install solar at my home. The team of installers, Brandon, Rene, Carlos and Jerimiah, we're very friendly, respectful and professional. They completed the job in two days and did a great job cleaning up. I appreciate all their hard work and cheerful attitudes! I would highly recommend Baker Electric!

Everything Baker Electric pitched during their sales process sounded great; the materials used, the installation process, warranty, etc. The only glaring negative was their price ($12K more than any other quote for exactly the same hardware, installation materials and specs, warranty, etc), wildly above three other quotes I received from competitors who are AAA+ BBB companies with great reviews. They said they could shave $4k off the price by going with cheaper panels. No thanks. Just didn't make any economic sense.
Jason G.3 years ago Baker installed my solar system and did some roofing work - they were great. Everything exactly as promised. I'm writing now to say 3 years later, when I called about a tile that was out of place, they made sure within days it was fully resolved. My original sales guys Scott was quick to respond to my text and push the issue to the right folks. Josh from the team assigned to sort out the issue was quick to respond, scheduled some to resolve and they showed up on time and did the work. Not only that, after the issue was resolved, the technician then inspected the entire roof to make sure there were no other issues that we couldn't see.
Sign of a great company when they stand behind their work with the same enthusiasm, professionalism and curtesy 3 years after the sale as they did when we signed the contract.
Baker recently did a tuneup of my furnace system. Tom, the service guy, was very professional and knowledgeable. He walked me through my system and showed me areas that might need work in the future and they even sent me a report with photos and comments for my records. I appreciated their integrity and professionalism and would definitely recommend them!
If you are like me and value customer service then look no more! I normally don't post reviews, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do so! From start to finish these guys were extremely professional. I called in because my AC was blowing hot air, like everyone in Southern California I can't make it to the beach every day. They sent their tech Alex right away! He was a delight came fully ready mask and all, found the problem in no time and now I'm cooler than a cucumber! If you are in need and want quality without compromise! Look no further!
Yani G.I needed a thermostat installed. Bought a decent one from Home Depot. _ arrived on time and found that the _ needed to be replaced. He showed me a list of options...packages...for maintenance. I declined and asked how much is it to simply replace the thermostat. He gave me a price. Unfortunately, I didn't get my usual estimates from at least 3 different companies prior to selecting someone.) I agreed to have him complete the job and upon agreeing he had me sign on the dotted line. Okay. That was new. He went to the system, made the repair. AFTER he did the job, low and behold he said, ""Ma'am, your _ is completely melted."" This, of course, would be another $400. I asked why he didn't tell me that when he went into the attic initially. He continued to talk fast and say nothing...which he did throughout the entire job. Always calling me back to the scene, ""Ma'am?"" regardless of where I was in the house. Lawd! AND This guy was obsessed with getting a high rating on Yelp! It was like an annoying chorus to a song. ""That's 5-stars, right?"" and ""Mention my name"". He was exhausting with that ish actually. He kept going up to the attic, finding more issues each time until I was like I'm good. Really. He finally left echoing his familiar chorus on the porch as I closed the door.
