I have all kinds of issues with our A/c since install last Aug. 2022, and called today for a service appointment. They took my email and phone but I had to call the new install line to get an actual person on the phone, the service line would not pick up after a 20 minute hold. Since yesterday no contact what so ever even though I provided my email and phone. We have spent $29K in Solar and $20K in A/C and no service. It has been less than a year!
I would say look elsewhere!!!!!

In the past couple of years Baker has installed a Solar / Battery Storage solution along with upgrading the HVACs and venting at my home. I can't say enough on how much I appreciate the selection of products and quality of craftsmanship that went into designing and delivering upon my homes needs. More recently a Baker technician, Junior Arteaga, has been out for the biannual service of my HVACs. During the visit he identified an issue one of my HVACs that was covered by the Baker Warranty and went above and beyond to make the correction by staying until 9pm to wrap up the work. Really appreciate you going the extra mile Junior!

My parents could not be happier with the HVAC install that Angel and Adan did for them. They were very professional, knowledgeable and answered any question we had. I wish all San Diego contractors were like Baker. We had a remodel done recently by another company and the experience was a nightmare. The folks at Baker really helped restore my trust that there are fair, responsible contractors out there.

After multiple personal reviews of Baker from friends and coworkers we decided to pull the trigger on solar in advance of new NEM rules. They came out, helped us decide on a system and communicated with us throughout the entire process. We knew exactly what we were getting through all phases of the project and how the NEM rules worked. They employ union workers which gives me much more confidence that they're professionals and would do a good job. I never had to wait more than a day for an answer to a question or if I wasn't sure of something.

We're now generating our own electricity right as we go into the sunny season and I won't have to worry about running the A/C.

Was it expensive? Yeah, but our ROI is pretty solid as a good home investment. And I'd rather pay that money to a company that's done right by me than a company that's never done me any favors like SDG&E.

I'd jump at any chance to recommend them and down the line when we decide to spring for a battery to support our system they'll be my first call.

We are having solar panels installed. The first step is to remove the roof's tiles, repaper, leave spaces for the panels, and replace the tiles. The roofing crew were wonderful. They are hard-working, efficient, and very professional. We were very leased and look forward to the step.

As I stated in my first review, my solar panels went up without a problem with my company of choice and they were able to get more than Baker claimed was the max. No work change order in the slightest. City permits issued for engineering design no issues either. So... 11 was NOT the max.

I have friends and neighbors that went Solar with Baker several years ago and remain happy clients. I had other companies provide quotes and decided to go with Baker.

Sergio Diaz and his team Secure Roofing Solutions Lic #1082549 placed fresh paper and replaced tiles for my roof prior to the panel installation. Sergio replied quickly to all my questions and made sure the work was completed / roof secure due to all the rain we have had this year. Clean & professional work- highly recommend!

Minas and his crew Sergio, Seth and Blaise were ready to go as soon as the roof work was completed. Panels were up and install completed in one day. I'm very pleased with the work provided. Minas did a beautiful job installing the box and running the lines
to the roof.

Both roofing and electrical crews were respectful of my home and my time. Professional, efficient and clean.

I'm still waiting for inspection as I write this but based on my experience so far, I have no doubt my 5 star review will remain 5 stars.

I would like to add that my sales Consultant, Brian Gaeta, was also great to work with as well as Lauren Lake and the other administration staff that helped me through the process.

I have only positive things to report! Thank you Baker Electric!

I was originally going to go with a different company. However, we contacted Baker because they were referred to us by a happy customer. So, they quoted us what seemed like a better price. In the beginning, their process seemed streamlined, but unfortunately, they ran into a pricing issue along the way. Turns out they needed to do roof work. This is something that should have been realized much earlier as they kept saying they had a ton of experience and many years installing solar.
When they did the site survey is when the issue was brought to someone's attention. Understand it had been 2 weeks since the site survey was done before they were telling us that the additional roof work was necessary.
The roofing work is an additional cost of $13,000. Had I known this upfront, I would have chosen the other company. I have talked to the sales manager and he said he would call me back tomorrow to see what they can do.
Update...
It's disappointing I did not hear back from the sales manager, but he did relay his attempt to help in an email to their front office. I had to call to find out that they could not discount much for their oversight. Needless to say, we could not come to an agreement, so we will go with a different company.
