Baird Roofing was a pleasure to work with, from the office staff to the tear off crew and the roofers themselves - everyone was polite and hard working.
The roof looks amazing and we were so happy with the customer service!

10 stars for Baird Roofing. They reroofed my home (2300 sf, 2-story) and did an outstanding job! The crew that removed the old roofing material were quick, friendly and very hard workers. The clean-up was fantastic. They repaired two weathered areas on my roof as well. The roofing crew were as quick and hard working as well. The office staff and management were awesome. Job well done.

Last summer (of 2021) we needed to have the roof of our detached garage replaced. After obtaining several bids, Baird was by far the most reasonable. They came out and did a great job; so when a tree fell onto our house during a storm in October, Baird was the first call I made. Our neighbor covered the hole in the roof the best he could with a tarp he had, but rain was still leaking into the house. I called Priscilla at Baird for help and Eric (one of their crew) came out in the rain and covered the roof with a larger tarp, saving us from further damage inside the house. When the rains stopped, Wayne was terrific in getting us scheduled right away for the repair work and roof replacement even though half of his crew was out sick. Our roof sustained substantial structural damage from the tree and the Baird guys were terrific in rebuilding and reroofing. It took a couple of days, but at the end of each day they were meticulous in cleaning up any debris around the house.

Thank you Priscilla, Wayne, Eric and the rest of the crew for a job well done!

In Nov. 2006 Baird Roofing reroofed my 1750 foot home and it only took 3 days! From that time until March 2020 when I sold my house there was never even one leak or 'about to be a leak'. High recommend. Good reputation in Chico community.

Michael Baird is great to work with! My new roof has given me security knowing I will not have to worry about any problem areas for years to come! Also has the best price in town - for the best service!

Baird roofing did an awesome job on our metal roof and have also done quality flat work and asphalt shingle work for people I know. They have extremely competitive pricing, with no compromise on quality and integrity. They are in high demand for commercial work, so if your residential job can get fit into their schedule, consider yourself lucky!

Beware! This Baird roofing do exaggerate the small problem to bigger problem so he can earn big monies for the job. I had a house which was in escrow and buyer agent ordered a roof inspection. The house had small hail storm damage 5 or more years ago on the several shingles and the roof is 12 years old. Instead of reporting how many more years of the life have left on the roof and/or recommended to replace damaged shingles, but he wanted to replace the whole entire roof for $18K because of several damaged shingles on the 12 years old roof from the previous of hail storm that we had years ago. The manufacturer of the shingles indicated 20 years life expectancy and it has already past its midlife.

My neighbor's house recently was in escrow and the buyer agent was using him to inspect the Spanish tile roof. His report indicated the pattern of the tiles were placed wrongly and wanted for fix for $10K. If they were laid in the wrong pattern, should the roof have been leaking through those years? The second opinion from another roofer stated it cost only $600 and fix some of tiles that were out of the pattern by easily pushing them back due to sliding off.

Come on, Baird! Please be more professional rather making a distorted report for your own good.

Baird, you fabricate the condition for your benefits.

BEWARE! DO NOT EVER USE THIS GUY TO INSPECT YOUR ROOF BEFORE CLOSING ESCROW.

In October while in the process of buying a home in Chester we hired Baird to conduct a roof inspection based on an recommendation from our real estate agent. On October 27th we had our overall Home Inspection that was done by another company, during that inspection it was discovered that there was an active leak in the roof. Photos were taken and we were advised to have a licensed roofer inspect the leak. As we notified our agent of the overall Home Inspection report findings he proceed to advise that Baird Roofing had done their inspection of the home the day before on October 26th and had not advised the agent so Mike (owner) had no access to the attic to discover there was a leak. That evening we received our Baird Roofing Inspection Report and Estimate of Repairs. I personally called Baird to see how the inaccurate report was going to be resolved. Mike called be back a few days later apologizing that he did not notify our agent. He also stated that going in the attic to inspect the underside of the roof is not standard and part of the $125.00 inspection fee. He did schedule to return to the home to view the leak a week later. All the while pausing the process of the home purchase. On November 9th, Mike met us at the home to inspect the leak. He concluded that is most likely was due to missing screws. Unfortunately, he did not repair it on that day. We had to schedule another day for him to return. On December 1st , Mike came back to complete repairs on the estimate and to replace missing screws to fix the leak. We were finally able to proceed with closing paperwork for the sale which was just waiting for the repairs to be completed. On December 5th, my husband went on top of the roof to confirm repairs and hang Christmas lights. At that time we discovered that we were still missing screws, 13 and caulking. We photographed them and sent them to our agent. On December 7th, Mike returned to the home and replaced the missing screws and complete the caulking. We were able to get keys to the home the next day December 8th. On December 15th, 7 days after we moved in, I heard the smoke alarm going off in the master bedroom. Upon inspection I noticed water leaking from the detector. I immediately, called my husband and he came to the home, climbed in the attic to photograph and install a temporary fix by putting up plastic to divert the water out through the vents. It would be another 7 days before Baird Roofing would return to inspect and try to fix. On December 22nd, two workers from Baird arrived. My husband requests the roof panels to be removed to inspect the under lament. The two workers declined and concluded that some of the rubber washers under the screws were bad and needed to be replaced and that water could run down the hole like a funnel. The washers were replaced and we hoped that would be the final fix. Allowing time for the wood to dry under cold conditions we wouldn't go back up to inspect until 2 weeks. On January 7th my husband went back in to the attic. He noticed one side of the roof dry but the other side was still leaking, not as bad as before but enough to have the water seeping into the wood. My husband photographed the leak and took video and sent the images to our agent and the sellers agent. We were contacted by Mike on January 8th with notice he would return next Thursday or Friday to inspect. On Tuesday January 10th, we were notified by email from our agent that Mike had contacted him and advised that he might not be able to repair and that our roof was old and may need replacing. Keep in mind that we have a metal roof which life span is 40-60 years. In the Inspection report that Baird gave he identified our roof as 17 years old and no mention of possible need for replacement. We have been struggling to get a resolution to the leak since October 28th, two months. At no time has Baird Roofing removed one panel of the roof to inspect the underside. We are at our last straw with this company and are only in the position to use them due to the original contract to complete the repairs by the seller. I strongly suggest that you find an alternate roofing company for your needs. I will update this review in a few days to advise the outcome of our next visit by Mike (owner) of Baird Roofing.

They get 1 star because I can't do less. This is the most disorganized company I have ever seen. I'm hugely disappointed with this company. Don't waste your hard earned money here.

I contacted Baird based on the Yelp reviews written here. We were happy to have a guy come out right away and inspect our roof for possible replacement. Unfortunately, the good experience with Baird ended when Tony left our driveway. We were assured a detailed quote within 3 business days. Tony described that our house did not need a new roof, just some repairs to get it winter ready. Tony stated that our roof was in such great shape that he would ""sign off"" on a roof inspection for real estate sale. We were excited and looking forward to their quote. 2 days after the inspection, we were contacted to schedule our inspection. Yes, I said that right. They had no record of having done the inspection despite our having business cards left by Tony. I was finally emailed the quote 7 business days after the inspection. The quote included a quote for a whole house re-roof, which was NOT what we were told we needed. I responded to the email to relate our confusion and disappointment with the lack of communication and disorganization. Michael Baird responded within 1 business day and was very apologetic with the problems and assured me he would make it right because it is not the way he does business. He promised to follow up with Tony to review what our home needed and would send a quote the next day. Here it is 5 days later, and still no word from Michael after being told he doesn't run his business ""that way."" It should be noted that Michael boasted that his company will probably have completed 200 re-roof's this year and 400 repairs. Apparently, our repairs are not big enough of a job to be worthy of consideration... We'll be calling a competitor.
