I met Bill with B.P. Custom Roofing who came and gave me an estimate for a new roof on my home. I knew immediately that Bill was the right contractor for me. He was extremely thorough, very detailed and explained exactly what my roof needed and also explained to me the importance of proper attic ventilation. His price was not the lowest but definitely the best value as it included more options than the other contractors. The job went smooth from start to finish and the crew cleaned up the job site everyday. I don't really get excited about roofs and mine is a composition shingle but it looks absolutely gorgeous and I especially like the ridge vent detail. The neighbors have already commented how efficient the crew seemed and how great the roof looks.

I'm the owner of the single family house.
My roof's original underlayment became too old and caused several leaks last year.
I started to search for the roofing company who can change roof's underlayment.
I've got several roofing proposals. It turned out that B.P. Custom Roofing provided the best combination of price and quality.
Bill, the owner of the company, gave me a very extensive and detailed list of project tasks, specification of materials and price calculation.
His crew started the roofing several days earlier and were able to finish the job before the heavy raining.
The crew worked fast and efficiently, cleaned the area around the house daily and didn't cause any trouble.
Bill is a very good owner and takes perfect care of his crew. He provided his crew daily with water, soda, snacks and even a portable restroom.
After the job was completed there were a couple of days of heavy raining, and I didn't notice any sign of leak neither inside the house nor on outside walls.
This project was worth every penny.

Bill and his crew replaced our wood shingle with slate tiles 3 years ago. They did a fantastic job. Bill was knowledgeable and guided us through the whole process - choosing tile types, planning new vents, etc. His crew was on time, efficient, and dealt with setback and complications with great competence (our roof had extensive termite damage thus additional repair).

Fast forward 3 years, the roof held up quite nicely. Solid as a rock - no leak, no issues. Looks as good as ever. Had a few broken tiles as expected, which Bill promptly repaired for a reasonable fee. We highly recommend B.P. Roofing!

We just had our roof redone last week. Excellent experience all around from getting the quote to roof completion. Bill is very personable and pays attention to the details. He arrived on time for our quote , already had the dimensions in hand, got on the roof and did a thorough exam of the roof as well as the facia. He explained in detail the process from start to finish, what each day would look like, which was dead on, and had available a selection of shingles to choose from. The job took 5 days as advertised for our size roof. We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and professionalism of the crew. The cleanup for each day was incredible. Very meticulous with each days
cleanup. We feel very good about our choice in going with B.P. Custom Roofing.

We recently moved from a larger home in Laguna Niguel to Lake Forest with the goal to downsize for our ""retirement years"". We found a great one story home on the lake with no real yard to speak of.... pretty stress free lifestyle for our ""golden years"", well that's what we thought.... The home we purchased had solar panels and five skylights. We love the solar, but not so much the skylights. We had some really heavy rain in February and March and found that we had 2 skylights leaking. NOT FUN!
I placed a couple of tarps on the roof to ride out the rainy weather. Fast forward to June I reluctantly started reviewing roofing reviews on Yelp to perform the dreaded repairs. I read reviews for about 6 company's before I got to B.P. Custom Roofing. I started reading the company's reviews and in my gut I thought this was the company I wanted to use. I made the call and left a message. I received a call back about an hour later from Bill, the owner.
I explained my predicament. He told me that he was booked until August, but would send someone out to assess the leaks .
Two days later I received a call from Alex, the company's field supervisor. I hit it off with him. He came out the next day and took measurements for the needed repairs.
Okay, long winded, I know... fast forward, he quoted me a price that I thought was fair and I awarded them the job. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the call they could take care of our roof the first week in July.
Alex and his helper came out and performed the repairs. WOW, a truly professional crew! Professional, meticulous and respectful of our property.
While it hasn't rain since the repairs, I feel confident if an issues arises, these guys will take care of us.

First of all, I'd like to give more than 5 stars if Yelp would allow it. B.P. Custom Roofing and team exceeded all my expectations. I sensed that the whole process would go smoothly from the very first meeting with owner Bill Priebe. He patiently explained the whole process to me and was available for daily updates and site visits. Bill and his team ensured that the yard and surrounding areas were cleaned daily to minimize my discomfort during the roofing process. I work from home and I could hear daily safety meetings with his team making sure all crew members were taking the necessary precautions.

We put a composite roof over the existing wood shingles in 1989 and this year the time had come to replace it. We talked to a few roofing contractors and ended up going with BP Custom Roofing. We are happy we did. Bill has been in the business for decades and has tremendous knowledge. He is straight forward, tells it like it is, and is very professional. When he bid the job he provided a complete package, that he encouraged us to read, and not just a number in a text or email.

There was never a concern if the crew would be showing up from one day to the next. Bill's crew was prompt, professional, and accessible. When I had questions, they answered them. And Bill would make sure everything was going as planned. We have canned lights in 2 cathedral ceilings and we were concerned about debris/nails around the lights. Bill's crew made sure that any heavy debris were removed from those 2 areas; and they were careful not to compromise any wires when installing the OSD. Even the small details; they asked us if we wanted the smooth or rough side out on the replacement fascia board.

We went with CertainTeed Landmark Solaris shingles. We chose Solaris because the cost difference is negligible and any reflective properties are better than none, especially when going with a darker roof. We wanted to see how the roof would look when installed and since there was no record of a Solaris Moire Black roof installed in South Orange County, Bill had a representative from CertainTeed provide addresses outside of our area. We ended up getting a bundle of Solaris Moire Black and placed them on our roof to see how it would look.

The roof looks great. It is not quite as dark as a typical black roof. In bright sunlight it looks more gray, but without the blues/greens and the over-the-top color variegation. It turned out to be exactly what we wanted. Overall the job was first rate.

I don't have enough good things to say about Bill and BP Custom Roofing. Bill and his team have pulled through for me in a pinch with two different roof leaks over the past 5 years. His easy estimate process is accurate and the pricing is reasonable. Scheduling was prompt and the repairs were done well. I have had absolutely zero new issues with the spots that Bill and his team have repaired. I will no doubt call on BP Custom Roofing if I have any future roofing needs.

- They take care to install the best underlayment (not just any felt) but synthetics that last much longer.
- They make sure the wood and support structure is sufficient for the type of roof to be installed.
- They take time to obtain a roof permit with the city, following the proper procedures.

BP Custom Roofing is committed to SAFETY as they were harnessed on our steep roof to reduce any possibility of serious injury or worse. In addition, BP Custom Roofing did a fantastic job replacing all the rotted and termite damaged wood which could only be done after tear off. They meticulously replaced every piece of damaged wood. They also painted for free.

As BP Custom Roofing motto says ""Quality still counts"".

Bill and his team at BP Custom Roofing just finished our roof yesterday and I have to say we couldn't be more pleased. This was our first time getting a new roof and from the first meeting Bill made us feel very comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. We got other bids but Bill was not only competitive in price but he was by far the easiest to work with. From the first day that they got started his team showed up every day and worked very hard. They were some of the most happy and friendly construction workers we had ever worked with and even our neighbors commented on how happy they seemed to be in their work.
