I started my construction career in 2001, offering emergency residential services for Blackmon Mooring post-Tropical Storm Allison. I gained experience in managing fire, water, and mold claims for insurance. Later, I joined Cotton Restoration as a project manager overseeing commercial emergency service projects after Hurricane Rita and Wilma in 2005, and again after Hurricane Ike in 2008. This period coincided with the start of my own business. Chasing storm work was a seasonal independent contractor role. In between projects, I began doing roof replacements, repairs, and general remodeling. Following ten years of managing Aztec Contractors as a side project, I fully devoted myself to my business in 2015, and it has been my only pursuit since then. I am recognized as a Certified Contractor for Sears Home Improvement and a Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning. I earned a B.S. in Industrial Sales & Distribution with a minor in General Business from Sam Houston State. My construction career commenced in 2005 following Hurricane Rita's impact on Beaumont, TX. I served as a project manager at Cotton Restoration, managing emergency service responses. I also dealt with two other storms, Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and Hurricane Ike in 2008. I then moved to a General Contractor position with the City of Houston, overseeing diverse commercial projects for the University of Houston, HISD, and St. Thomas University, to name a few. I worked as an insurance claims adjuster in 2012 after Hurricane Sandy hit the New York/New Jersey area. In the last year, I have focused on my role as a general contractor, assisting in the rebuilding of the Houston Metro Area. Each of these storms has equipped me with the experience necessary to evaluate any construction project. I am eager to help you!
