Really disappointed. I made an appointment for a preliminary quote on a roof repair a week in advance. The night before the appointment, I texted to confirm - no response. Unsurprisingly, no one showed up the next day (which I/my husband had altered plans to attend). Since then, I've called twice and sent a text to check in and/or reschedule, but no one has bothered to respond. I understand that things happen, people get busy, etc., but it's been slightly over two weeks and I haven't heard anything.

During the holidays after a heavy rain we had yet again another roof leak. After calling a couple of well known roofing companies and getting no response my wife found Aztec Contractors and gave them a call. Reynaldo responded almost immediately and agreed to come out the next morning. For our first appointment he was prompt, nice guy and seem to take his craft seriously. Our roof had given us problems before but we'd had the same problem reoccur. Reynaldo was thoughtful in his diagnosis which gave me a lot of comfort. We scheduled time for him and his team to come back out, they were flexible in the timing, gave a fair price and again was on time and worked at a timely pace. Safe to say we have had a couple of big rains since the fix and it seems to be holding up. I won't hesitate to give Aztec a call if I need another job taken care of!!

I called Aztec last Thursday for a small repair job and 2 days later had an estimate. Reynaldo told me ""no job is to small."" Today Pedro spent the afternoon doing the repairs and ended up doing more than expected for the initial quote. He did a great job doing general carpentry removing rotted fascia, replacing wood, securing gutter and painting the exposed wood. Great experience!

I couldn't be happier with Aztec Contractors. While the prior Yelp ratings (all 5's) were a factor in my choosing them, I still had to follow our procedure and get at least 3 quotes. Not only was Aztec on top of things with their inspection, photographs (very helpful!) and estimate, they were the lowest price of the bunch.

Aztec went the extra mile, finishing a 1.5 day job in one day to beat a big storm. The building was snug and tight when the thunderstorm hit.

If it helps, the building in question is part of a non-profit operation to deliver clinic, food and clothing to the poor. Aztec also gave us a discount off the final bill as a charitable donation.

I would highly recommend the Aztec if you are looking for roofers. Reynaldo is amazing. He is polite and high efficient. I sent him the general inspection pdf about the roof before I bought the house and Reynaldo sent me the quote super fast with reasonable and competitive price and their liability insurance for the job. This left me a super good impression. After I got the key of the house, I contacted him to do the roof repairs. My house is a three-stories house in flood zone and it got elevated. Reynaldo had no problem with that. He told me that I don't need to be onsite when they are doing the job. Then he came and finished every repair, sending pictures to me as below to demonstrate their work. They are fast, professional, and high efficient. Wonderful experience.

I can't say anything about the quality of their work, but they appeared to be within the cost I was expecting and he was very informative over the phone. We set up a consultation and he came out as planned; however, after several follow up attempts by me with no reply by them (not even to tell me they don't want the job), I am continuing to look for a contractor.
After this review the owner contacted me right away me know that he had an accident and they have been backlogged. I've added another star because he was considerate enough to communicate that.

I called Aztec Contractors when I noticed a little bit of water damage in our bedroom. I could see that water was leaking onto the ceiling from the roof.
Reynaldo (owner) answered the phone when I called and offered to stop by to take a look that same afternoon. He was very personable and professional. His team was able to patch the roof just two days later. I highly recommend using Aztec contractors!

I contacted Aztec Contractors by email over the weekend and received a call back from Reynaldo1st thing that Monday morning. Our problem was a roof leak that a previous company we used did not fix properly so we still had the same roof leak - same sport- less than a year later. Reynaldo's schedule that Monday was full but he made time to come by to meet me and get an better idea of what we needed to have done. He went on our roof, took pictures, told me how he could solve the problem and said he would email me a proposal. I received the proposal that day -reviewed it, called him regarding the time it would take to perform the job and scheduled him to come out the next day. Reynaldo came back with one of his employees the next day and both went to work fixing our roof leak. He even noticed a couple of potential problem areas, took pictures to show me and even fixed the ones he could and still stuck to the price on the quote. Within 24 hours of getting a proposal - our roof was repaired - done! Because of the added value Reynado provided, his follow-up, his courteous and no-nonsense approach to addressing me and our concerns I'll will be having Reynaldo back for more work in the future. This was one of those VERY RARE times when my experience with a contractor far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
