The Owner developed a passion for construction early in life while working in his family's home building business. James has carried on his family's legacy for over thirty-five years.
From the start of his career, working for his uncle on roofing projects, James demonstrated his dedication to family traditions. James proudly obtained his C-39 Roofing and General B Contractors licenses early in his career. Transitioning from roofing to building custom and spec homes, James deepened his love for the construction process and expanded his knowledge.
James has more than thirty years of experience in residential and commercial building construction, making him well-prepared for any task. In the 1970s, James began working in the family business, focusing on the construction of spec homes. As a third-generation licensed C-39 roofing contractor and a third-generation licensed General B Contractor, he carries on a proud family tradition.

Andre A.I just wanted to write a review about AWT Construction Group. They were recommended to me by a close friend. Shanon came to inspect the job on Monday, work started on Tuesday and they were finished by Friday! They did not gouge me. I know nothing about roofs and had never been on mine so they could have told me anything and I would have not known the difference. Shanon let me know that all I needed was a small repair and some reinforcement. The cost was amazing and I did not have to get a new roof! When the three workers finished working both inside and outside of the house, I was not able to find a spec of dust, dirt or debris anywhere. They even took away the trash! Shanon was great at communicating with me in a timely fashion via txt and phone calls. I was never once left wondering, ""Where are they?"" or what was going on with the project. I was always well informed by Shanon. I am very please with the finished product. Thank you AWT Construction & Shanon Brown for a job well done! I would recommend you highly to all my friends.
Chi M.They did not give us a warning and threw everything outside of were I live and was awful customer service with bad attitude. They also took my food inside my apartment and i did not offer them.
