Being a guy who grew up in hurricane country I knew a lot about roofing and the service that I received was outstanding. I was shown where the damage was and guided through the insurance process. They were on site with the adjuster and ensured that my roof would be repaired better than before. I would like the thank William and Thomas for the quick action the get my roof repaired before storms came again. In the event that I ever need roofing again, I will contact Avalon Roofing because they do it right!

I hired Jeff to perform roof maintenance on a flat roof commercial building that I manage. The scope of work included coating areas of the roof, sealing around ducts and A/C units and adding additional rock to a section of the roof to cover bare spots. After the work was completed, I inspected the roof and asked if Jeff could add some additional rock. He added the rock but he didn't seem happy about and let me know several times that he paid for it out of his own pocket. After that, I went ahead and paid him for the work. A few weeks later, I noticed several areas that they coated were already peeling. I asked Jeff if he could come back and fix it, but he kept blowing me off and told he would get to it when he had time. He kept saying he was so busy and didn't have time for this and was being extremely rude and unprofessional with me. Then he told that maintenance work is not warrantied. This continued over a 3-month period and was extremely frustrating. Finally, in January, we had a big rainstorm and we had a few leaks in the building. I contacted Jeff and asked if he could help repair the leaks and do the coatings again. He came out and met me but he was unbelievably rude and unprofessional yet again. He kept saying that he didn't have time for the shit. However, he said could help and would let me know. A few weeks passed and I contacted him again but he could never give me a time because he was so busy. I finally moved on from him and found a new roof guy as it was becoming obvious that Jeff never intended to come back. The new roof company told me the coating he used is garbage and that's why it peeled. Please do not use this company. Jeff is rude and unprofessional and the quality of work is terrible.

Avalon Roofing does not back up their work. Maybe a few years ago they did a good job, but my complete new roof put on less than a year ago has had two leaks where they failed to seal the roof near the outside duct work. Each time they wanted to pass off the fault to the HVAC or Contractor people but at the end of the day they ended up repairing the problem. This last time they instructed me do get an estimate of the inside ceiling repair and when I sent it to them they lied about the circumstances then denied to back up their work. The entire roof isn't even a year old! This is after I was quoted a certain price in the beginning and as the roofing job began the price kept going up by $10,000. Now they won't even pay a small repair cost.

CAUTION: THERE ARE MANY OTHER SOUND ROOFING COMPANIES IN THE SOUTH BAY. SKIP THIS ONE.

Excellent Company... customer service is phenomenal and the team is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and they uncovered the non related problem quickly!!! Had a leak in the second floor down bedroom .. problem is in our deck.. not our roof.. they saved the day!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Our point of contact was Greg Carlson. He was proactive, organized, flexible and always kept us in the loop. The team of workmen were hardworking and executed the job with great care and expertise.

We had two types of roofs to install: torch down and mission clay tile. The latter was very intricate to duplicate and had to conform to the existing Historical Preservation Zone specifications. The result was a beautifully constructed roof that came in on budget.

I highly recommend Avalon Roofing. They delivered excellence at a very competitive price.

Plain & Simple: Avalon Roofing ""Rocks"". They roofed my bungalow about 15 years ago and I was overjoyed with the job, as it was perfect. We contacted Jeff because we were badly in need of a roof for a second house. He never missed a step and once we decided on what roof we wanted, it was ordered quickly and completion of the job was immediate. I know how busy they are and how popular, therefore we understood and were happy to go to the end of the line. Jeff was well staffed and ""ready to go"". Jeff even refreshed the 15 year old paint on the first house's vents & pipes (happily). Jeff goes way ""above the call of duty"" and is fun to work with.
