When we hired this company years ago, they were great. I recommended them to anyone and everyone. It's very disappointing what they've become.

Last Summer, we hired AV Roofing to fix our roof. We had just done a cash-out refinance to make all repairs on the house. We pretty much said ""fix the roof so it doesn't leak anymore."" They came out and redid half of the front of our home. We also hired them to make sure the area our solar panels were going in was sound. It was a good chunk of change, but that was what the money was for.

However, the exact same spot that always leaked started leaking again after the very first rain a couple months after they were done. We were under warranty but they wanted to charge us to clean out the channels that they had just redone. They had even cut back the tree when they were working, so I couldn't understand how it had gotten full of leaves and caused another leak in just a couple of months. But they did eventually come out and fix it for free.

Then the tropical storm hit this summer. A new leak sprouted in a brand new area, but just a few feet away from the original leak. A bad one. It tore a three foot-wide hole in the ceiling in my office. I waited a coupe weeks after the storm, figuring everybody was calling about leaks after that storm. However, I was still told it would be three weeks before they would have someone out in our area just to do an estimate. After a couple of weeks, I had to reach out to find out if we had a date for the estimate. That's when they suddenly had an opening the next day and if I couldn't take that, it wouldn't be for another couple weeks.

Even though we asked them last summer to just make sure the roof was good, they still said the new leak wasn't covered. I didn't want to keep going with them, but they were the cheapest estimate I got (having spent all our re-fi money on other repairs after we thought we got the roof fixed), so I signed the proposal on 10/24. I was told they were scheduling for November and Early December. I emailed several times and was told I'm not on the schedule yet. Last time I made contact I was told ""...looks more like the week of December 11th or 18th."" Well, it's the 20th of December and still absolute silence from them. I've gone ahead and signed a contract with another roofer. Waiting for AV Roofing now means I don't have a fix date until March, but at least I have a date!

Amazing staff! I had an emergency with a leak problem and they were actually able to be to me sooner than later. Very professional and the crew that did the repair on my roof were great. I would never call another roofer. They have been in the valley since 1957

Was recommended by Lancaster businesses association. Gave a very good quote, lower than others by almost 1000$. Start date was fast and workers arrived on time and finished that same day. The other roofers gave me over 3 weeks until the repairs could be done. Workers were polite and explained exactly what they had to do. They did not just throw the used material on the ground for later cleanup, one of the workers was on the ground and when old materials were removed took them directly to the truck for disposal. As we had just had rain gutters installed and asked them to be careful they made sure the ladders were placed where there were no gutters. Thank you very much.

AV roofing was contacted to readdress a leak on a side of the house they previously repaired by replacing the felt paper. Current leak is located in the exact same area, now damaging the roof and wall. It took 2 weeks to get a roof inspection, than after another 4 weeks I had to call and ask for the estimate, was told the roof repair was covered under warranty, than changed to non-warranty, after agreeing to the cost estimate was told to ""keep in mind we are approximately 4-5 weeks out for most repairs""?

Found another bonded/licensed roofing company, received an inspection and estimate on the same day and am now scheduled to get the repair done in less than 3 weeks, now that's good service....

Let me start with: they used nails that were too long and gave my eaves ""shiners"" along my whole house, that gave me a pit in my stomach the minute I seen it. They let a pack of shingles slide off my house and damaged my rain gutter. When roofing you have a disappearing course that you try to feather out, mine looks like crap (rush job). I had them remove my old roof and they ""nailed"" down my fireplace bracket instead of ""screwing"" it down, which created ""blisters"" after the new roof was installed (nails started to pull out).
And last but not least...when given a chance to fix the blisters, they gave me a $900 bid to fix ""their"" fuck-up. Roof was repaired for $195 by a competent roofer.
The estimator was courteous, and friendly...but Yelp is about quality of service. If I could turn back time I would ""AVOID"" AV Roofing.

Recently replace my roof with AV roofing. The company was very professional. Their employees were very nice did an excellent job. Also works with a Solar Company to make sure that there's no leaks. Install took a few days to do and that was with complete teardown, permit, clean up and install of new roof. I am very happy with the roof. Will recommend this company to friends and family. AV Roofing was referred to me by a contractor. I have used their services & I consider AV Roofing to be the best. They are professional, reliable, courteous, friendly, punctual, and they do top notch work and back up their work with a guarantee. Personally, I have found it hard to find reliable contractors to come to my house and do work that is done right the first time.
