I called multiple times, finally getting a call back. I told Michael that I needed a new roof, and he said he would go to the house Friday (this was Wednesday), inspect the roof, and have a written estimate to me that evening.

I didn't hear from him, so I called the office back on Saturday afternoon. No answer, as usual, so I called Michael's cell phone. He must have forgotten that he'd called me from that number earlier. After stammering a bit, he said that he had indeed inspected the roof, but due to some different roofing on the patio cover, he wasn't interested in bidding the job. The ""different roofing"" is rolled roofing vs composition shingle on the rest of the house. Nice of him to call and tell me that...

I don't know what kind of work they do, but if it's anything like their communication skills, I'd run away from them. I figured they'd be hitting me up for all sorts of charges without telling me until after the fact.
