Greetings! We are Midland, TX. Whether it’s a small fix or a complete roof replacement, we can help. With over 30 years of practical experience, we focus on building trust with our clients. Our goal is to keep your roof robust, secure, and long-lasting.

As a teenager in the 1980s, I entered the contracting world as a painter and carpenter's apprentice in Louisiana. In a place where skilled contractors were plentiful and competition was tough, I had the privilege of learning from top-notch experts. Contracts were often informal, and your credibility was tied to your references.

I started my first company to help pay for my college. It was a struggle to run a construction business while attending college (before the era of online classes), but I succeeded in finishing my studies.

While this industry has its share of challenges, I always emphasize customer service and client satisfaction. I hold multiple certifications in Texas and Louisiana and take pride in serving the great state of Texas.

Atom Contracting is led by Thomas Kiefer, who has over 30 years of experience as a contractor and craftsman. Thomas started his career by restoring historic buildings in New Orleans, learning from generations of skilled tradespeople. Experiencing the devastation storms can cause to homes and communities, Thomas formed a strong attachment to the Permian Basin and has resided in Texas ever since.
