Before I start talking about bad, let's talk about good. The guys who came out to do the estimate were very nice. Ok. I'm done with good.

We needed our bedroom roof fixed, and because our house is old and the bedroom was an addition done incorrectly, they said we probably need to have the whole section replaced. Yes, we did say we didn't have money at the moment, but did tell them we probably will get serious once we get the tax refund. Well, we asked for 3 different estimates. One, to temporarily fix the bedroom roof, two, more permanent fix on the bedroom roof, and three, to have the roof on the whole house redone. They said no problem. We'll get you the estimate.

Well, the estimate was done in early December. We never got the quote. A few weeks after they came out, I accidentally butt-dialed one of the estimate guy (from ""recent"" call log). I told him that we hadn't received the estimate, and his response was ""oh, it's the office. Once we give them the situation and estimate, it's all up to the (main) office. You can call the main office and ask for it.""

Wait, aren't they the one want business from us? They talk about how ""great customer service"" is very important to them, but we, the customer has to call the ""office"" in order to request the quote we already requested? I understood the reason why the ""estimate guy"" told me to call the office, but at same time, as much as he said how important the good customer is, and how getting good review on yelp type website was, I guess it wasn't important enough for him to call. We never heard from them again, and the roof is still covered with tarp. Not sure who we are gonna go with at this point, but we know it's definitely NOT with Atlantis Roofing, Inc.

I just read Mark D.'s comment about Atlantis not doing comp shingle roof... well, ours is comp shingle, and we told them that's what we have, and they saw it was comp shingle, and they NEVER mentioned about them not working on comp shingle. Maybe that's why we never heard back from them. But either way, their grade is F- to me.

I'm surprised this company has as high an overall rating as it does. The only review that wasn't 5 star states that this company doesn't replace roofs, only repairs them. Ok, no biggie because I was calling them regarding a repair. Perfect. 5 star company for roof repairs, exactly what I want.

Uh - oh! There's a huge stipulation that isn't disclosed on their website nor on this yelp page. They ONLY work on tile roofs. UH, what? Composition shingle has to be the most common in the area, so I feel that this large restriction should be clearly noted on their web page and on their yelp page.

Then you ask if they know of any other companies that they're familiar with that DO work/repair composition shingle roof types, and they refuse to mention one? Sad. I've overseen and managed the repair and rehab of close to 400 homes over the past 6 years in and around Sacramento County, and thankfully the companies that respond in this manner are few and far between, and the ones that do definitely do not deserve a 5 star rating.

Installed a solar attic fan for me. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. They always returned me calls and arrived on schedule any time I had an appointment. This may sound like an obvious thing for a business to do, but it wasn't something I found with other roofers. I contacted over a dozen roofers and half of them didn't even respond. Another quarter stopped responding after giving me an initial quote. One didn't show up to two scheduled appointments and another roofer told me my fan wouldn't work on my roof and tried to sell me another one before he even saw my house or fan.

Atlantis did an excellent job installing my fan. They installed it exactly where I wanted it (this required going into the attic to double check the requested location), cleaned up all their debris, and even painted the fan to match my tiles. Very pleased with the quality of their service.

During the last rain storm, noticed some minor roof leaks and called Atlantis Roofing. They were very prompt and Joe Peterson came out and did an overall inspection. The nice thing is that they take pictures off all the issues they find. He was very patient and explained all the issues and what needs to get fixed. The work was done promptly and on schedule to the appointment.
He went up on the roof and since its not the rain season, did a water test and took pictures of the completed job.
The professionalism of Joe stands out as well. I used Yelp advice to seek out Atlantis and I am very happy I did that. Of course the true roof test will be in winter, but Joe has assured me that if there is any issue, they will promptly get it fixed.
I also got some comp estimates and overall the price offered is very competitive.

We were cutting a few branches that had grown too close to the roof over the garage when we noticed that there was dry rot in the boards between the roof tiles and the eave. We have a composite shake roof which is a bit unusual and the problem area was quite close to our neighbors who just had a baby so we didn't want to bother them. In other words, we needed someone who was good, could work well with unusual roofs and do a good job. Atlantis was highly recommended so we decided to give them a shot and they sent Martin Ramirez. I can only say that if the other Atlantis employees have half the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism Martin exhibited, they deserve at least 6 stars. He was on time (seriously!), quickly assessed the problem, checked out our house roof as well as the rest of the garage roof and gave us a quote from which he never deviated. There were NO cost overruns and yes, he did end up doing more work than was specified.

He repaired the dry rot, repaired six broken tiles on the garage roof (and didn't charge us an extra penny as we had spare tiles from the couple that lived here earlier), and taught us how to take care of our roof. And all the time, he was really friendly and personable. It was almost as if a really skilled and knowledgeable neighbor had dropped by to help us out. So I highly recommend Atlantis Roofing thanks to him.

Very impressed. They responded quickly to our request. Martin came out to our house, showed me the problems, and gave a very reasonable price quote. He took the time to answer my questions and help me understand what the problems were. The service was great.

I received a call today telling me that they no longer build roofs. They only do roof repair now. I made the appointment a week ago for someone to come and give me an estimate on a new roof.

I can not believe that a company that re-roofed houses last week do not roof houses this week. Terrible experience. Hopefully they want your money if all you want is roof repair.

If I could give Atlantis 6 stars, I would.

Woke up one morning after a night of heavy rain and discovered wet dry wall on the ceiling of a room. Not a good feeling. I checked online reviews and saw Atlantis Roofing was well-rated. Gave them a call, and later that day Joe came out for an inspection and quote. Joe is an impeccable professional - polite and patient. He explained everything in detail and did not try to up-sell me.

A few days passed before they were able to do the work (because of continued rain). During that time I discovered another leak in a different room. I let Joe know so that they could fix that area too. The work took less than half a day and there was not a single piece of debris left behind by the crew.

I was expecting to pay more for the newly discovered leak, but their pricing policy is such that you only pay what they quoted you. Wow! That is service at its finest, folks.

Never imagined myself giving a glowing review to a roofing company, but these guys are the real deal. I only wish they offered other home services such as flooring, plumbing, etc. Great company to do business with.

I can no longer recommend a company that doesn't stand by the word of the people it employees.


We bought a house with what we were told was a minor roof leak in the garage. We had a contractor recommended by our Realtor come out to attempt to fix it on 4 separate occasions. His crew actually made the leak worse and made it spread over another area. We finally decided to call a roofing company and went with Atlantis when we saw their excellent BBB rating and all of the positive reviews.

Raul quickly came out and gave us a free roof inspection and a quote. All I can say is you get what you pay for. If you go with cheapy guys on Craigslist, or the lowest bid possible, you get crappy work. If you want your issue fixed right the first time - call Atlantis. The price was competitive, the professionalism was excellent, the warranty is unbeatable. I wish all businesses worked the way his does. Raul and crew were very friendly and explained what was wrong and how he would fix it. It turns out that our problem wasn't so minor and knock on wood, it's rained a few times and it hasn't leaked.

He even came out again to fix a tile on the other side of the roof that had slipped for free.

Your roof is one of the most important parts of your home and I would not hesitate to recommend Atlantis or Raul for any repairs it might need.

I contacted Atlantis Roofing for a small job in El Dorado Hills. A ceramic tile slid out of place and another one was missing. I checked around and Atlantis had the most reasonable price. Some of the big roofing companies that I called wanted me to commit to paying for a two man crew and travel time for even small jobs.

Atlantis was able to come out the very next day to complete the work. They were very professional and friendly & even giving inspected the roof for free. We would not hestitate to call Atlantis for our future roofing needs.
