They are great to work with! They gave us a quote to fix a leak on a metal patio roof and it was repaired in days! Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant!

This company replaced our roof in 2019 after Hurricane Michael. The contractor that did the work did not explain anything that was being done, did not give us accurate estimates of how long things were going to take, and did not make a single call in our direction. All calls for information were instigated by me. Three years later my roof was leaking, we called the company to fix the roof that was still well within the warranty time from September to January I called once a week for an update and with each call I was told that I would be called back, I never was. We were finally given the number of a man who was working for the contractor who had done the initial installment and was supposed to be doing the repairs. By this time the first contractor changed his number and we were no longer able to contact him and he was not contacting us. The new man responded to us promptly and within two days had found the material that was needed; the same material that the original contractor said was ""discontinued and hard to find"". The repair after that was quick but we still had to pay $700, even though it was still under warranty, and neither the previous contractor or the company ever followed up. I will not be doing anymore business with this company and would not suggest anyone else use use them either.

Thanks largely to an out of business Orlando purveyor of swimming pool solar heating panels (the cheap plastic kind that I found local squirrels just LOVE to gnaw holes into) a previous saltwater pool chlorinating system variously leaked salt water onto the metal roof installed years prior by Jim Brown Signature Roofing.
If not for that leaky system my home would have a perfectly fine metal roof, but alas, squirrels beat me in the arms race and a bunch of spots on the roof suffered from rust and were in some places was falling apart. I decided to try Atlantic to get rid of that messed up setup perhaps in advance of getting solar for either electric or hot water.
Atlantic got to work rapidly in removing the old roof and installing the new one. However, once the south side of the house roof was replaced they realized the roof panels weren't quite the right size or something along those lines.
At that point they covered the roof in one of the newer alternatives for tar paper, this maybe 1/4"" or so thick adhesive sheeting that provides both some cushioning for the roof panels and waterproofs the roof. This was because the COVID19 pandemic with its supply chain disrupting shenanigans delayed Atlantic's ability to get the proper panels.
Despite this they ensured the roof with just that sheeting didn't leak, and then after a month or few they got suitable panels and finished installation in I believe under a week or so.
The roof looks great and nicely caps my single-family residence. The only reason I'm dinging Atlantic a star is that they didn't clean up the site as much as I'd like. The photo accompanying this review shows one of several roofing nails from the previous roof that lurk among brush and leaves near the house in both front and back yards, along with various bits of nasty sharp metal which was dropped as the roofers sawed to try to adapt the improper sheeting to the structure.
Other than occasionally stumbling upon such debris, their work was excellent.

We had a great experience with Atlantic Roofing, especially with Chris Palmer who efficiently coordinated all of the moving pieces. Good quality work, a fair price, and done quick and efficiently. Chris came to our home right away when we called, the office staff efficiently prepared a bid and contract, and they were working within a week. It took 3 days to replace our roof. We added on several related jobs, that was a real advantage of working with Chris and this company, they provided full service on roof plus multiple related fixes that we needed on the house exterior.

Atlantic roofing was a lifesaver. My mom's house was built in the 1800's and has an exceptionally high roof and some tricky transition spots. The owner sent in a crew from Gainesville, that had the knowledge to get the job done. There is a transition from the house to the guest house behind the home, that is not a straight line and very challenging. The crew spent an entire day on that one section to make sure we were happy with what was done.
Additionally there was a lot of rain between when they started and finished. The crew made sure the tarp was secured and water tight, so we didn't have to worry about the rain. I would highly recommend Atlantic roofing, they stand by their work. Anything along the way we weren't happy with, they fixed. Ed also went to bat for us with the insurance company to get us new plywood and flashing when he wasn't happy with what he saw.

Never even got to work with this company and I'll consider it a blessing in disguise. I called on a Thursday to request that someone come out to look at my roof and specifically asked if I could schedule the visit and that it was important for me to know ahead of time when the person would come by to check out the roof. They said yes, no problem and that someone should be in touch with me in the next day or two. Fine.
By Tuesday, I had not received a call so I called them back and spoke to a very nice man who let me know that my contact person was Chris and he was going to reach out to ask him to give me a call. Again I clarified that I was looking to schedule a visit.
Chris calls me almost immediately after, I was getting out of my car and I asked if I could call him right back in a minute. His response to me was: I'M ON MY WAY OVER THERE TO CHECK OUT YOUR ROOF.
Huh?!
So I answered ""no you're not, you're supposed to call me to schedule it""
Right away he lays into me: ""That's not what I was told, lady. (blah, blah, blah) I'm moving on, we got plenty of roofs to look at""
Blatantly rude. And this man thinks it's acceptable to speak to people like this? I'm fine with the misunderstanding, and even if he was told one thing and now I'm saying something different - there's no reason to be rude and his response was completely uncalled for. It tells me all I need to know about what this company tolerates from its workers. Good riddance.
Good, I'm glad you have ""plenty of roofs to look at"". Good luck with that, Chris, and I hope you find some manners along the way.

They did a great job on my roof, expert, home owner friendly crew, and customer friendly office staff.

Atlantic installed a metal roof over shingles on a rental house in July 2016. Less than one year later, the roof was leaking around the vent for the range hood. We called repeatedly, and finally someone came to look at (not repair) the roof, and it took at least two months to get someone out to actually attempt a repair. The roof still leaks, and every time we call, Atlantic says we are ""on the list,"" but has yet to follow through. Here's the kicker. This was preventive maintenance. The roof didn't leak before Atlantic got hold of it. Now we have damage to the range hood and probable wood rot. I do not recommend this company, and my only future dealings with them will be to pursue this warranty repair, in court if necessary.
Update: Finally got someone out to ""fix"" the leak. First good rain, and the roof still leaks.
Update: Promised to come out today, Feb 2, 2018, four days after calling to report the leak was not fixed, and we were stood up. Better Business Bureau complaint is on the horizon.

This company is amazing. I have dealt with Ed, as well as the lady who answered the phone, and both were extremely nice. I had a kind of a crazy request and neither made me feel as though it was and both gave me the their time to help decide on a solution to our problem. This family owned business goes above and beyond expectations...it is highly recommended.

My wife and I both wish to thank Atlantic Roofing for a fantastic job well done. We had asked a couple of roofers to bid on our roof but the job was too complicated for some of the smaller contractors. Our experience with Atlantic Roofing started when Bob came out and did an estimate. We discussed materials and guarantees. I told him we had extra work besides replacing shingles and sealing the roof. Bob assured me that the estimate would probably be less than I anticipated. Spending my professional career designing commercial buildings, I thought I had a pretty good grasp on what it would cost. Bob was right. I was surprised at the reasonable estimate he showed us. It was actually better than my ""best case scenario.""
Verne and his crewed showed up to do the work. Verne, Willie, Jason, Kevin, and JJ were some of the nicest contractors I have ever met. The crew was friendly, polite, and professional. They immediately went to work on our house which was a difficult project. Our house rises three stories but overhangs a sloping drop-off in the land. The actual peak of the roof is four to five stories up. Verne assured us that they would have no problem. The fact that Atlantic also does commercial work ensured that the job was not beyond their scope.
Atlantic not only replaced our shingles with a better product, they replaced two skylights that needed to be boxed out with new wood frames on the exterior. At our request, they removed two other large skylights, covered the openings with tongue and groove boards, and stained them to match our existing ceiling. They stained the gable ends of our roof to match our existing exterior. They applied wood rejuvenator to restore and preserve the existing interior wood boxes to our two new skylights. After completion, they even came back out very quickly to repair a problem my wife and I discovered that had to do with our existing old materials. With all of the extra work, the final bill was still less than my original ""best case scenario.""
I enjoyed having coffee with the crew before they began work in the mornings. Kevin did a great job with the woodwork and Willie is a professional machine. Willie put in a couple of twelve-hour(+) days in order to make sure the work got done in a timely fashion. I have met few people who are as responsible and professional as Willie. I am grateful he was on our crew. Everyone on our crew was friendly and professional. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the result.
As a building professional myself, I highly recommend Atlantic Roofing.
