Bear with me while I tell this complicated story. Right before Christmas 2022, we determined we needed a new roof. We called 5 different Atlanta roofing companies. David Bishop from Atlanta Roofing Specialists came out and gave us a quote. They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. We had used them in 2011 for another house (traditional two story) that we owned and they did a great job. No extra charges, roof done in one day, etc. Based on our past experience as well as the current bid, we decided to use them again for this ""new"" house. It is a 1950's mid century home with low angled rooflines, post and beam construction, and various roof levels. Turned out to be a way different beast of a roof. This roof took two days to install and it wasn't easy. Unknown to us, there was major rotting on three of the 20 foot beams over the carport and lots of wood damage on the slats. We knew about the wood slat damage, which was included in the bid, however no one on the crew mentioned any beam damage and kept on working laying shingles focused on finishing up before the Christmas holiday. At the end of the second day as they were finishing up, Sonny, the quality control guy and head of the team, came out to make sure all was going well. Sonny took one look at the rotted beams which you could now see from below since the hammering of new shingles caused them to disintegrate, as well as the wonky way the roofers has patched the wood around them and was stunned. He called in the big guns! After a few phone calls and much handwringing, management determined this to not be up to their standards and said they would rip off the new roof, replace the three 20 foot long beams, lay all new plywood boards, fix the wonky wood slats, and re-lay the shingles. We had to pay for the new beams but everything else would be taken care of at no charge, which we thought was very fair. Beams were ordered and the roof was redone after the holidays, so two more days or ripping and hammering but they did it! A week or so later David Bishop comes out to inspect the job, sign off on it, and pick up the check for the remaining balance due. While inspecting, he doesn't like the look of a few areas that they had redone. So a week later, out comes a crew again, they made some adjustments, fixed a leak around the chimney, and off they went. Without giving you this synopsis, it would not be possible to adequately explain our 5 star satisfaction with the final job. Yes, ARS was at fault here, and maybe this perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances of freezing weather brewing and holiday festivities looming will never happen again, but they went above and beyond to make good on this. I have to say we are extremely happy with the job they did and feel like any other company may have tried to hide the subpar workmanship or would have not been so willing to make it right with us. ARS as a company has an amazing work ethic; everyone was forthcoming with information, kept in constant contact with us through the entire ordeal, and was extremely apologetic. A company in todays world that has such integrity and that is willing to stand behind their work should be commended. We highly recommend Atlanta Roofing Specialists!

This is one fine Company. We needed a replacement roof and from day one, ARS was there for us. They reviewed what was needed, respectively informed us of cost and performed their duties in a highly professional manner. We loved the fact that the nailing of the shingles are by hand. Our new roof looks great. Thanks to Kevin, Sonny and Dan for all they did. Let's just say they went over and above our expectations even after the installation. We found ARS through our son whom they did a roof for also and I know that they have echoed our opinion about ARS on several occasions. You will get a great roof with a qualified and professional team. Thanks also to their support staff who helped in every way to make this a successful and painless process.

Replaced my roof prior to putting house on the market for sales. Good communication. Fast work. Also, I could not find any nails on the property after they left, so they did a really good job of cleanup. The roof looks great. Since I sold the house, I don't know if the roof is holding up, but the inspector didn't have anything to say about it. Positive experience overall.

Rictor came out to give my roof a inspection. He was very detailed on educating me with the kind of roof and shingles that I had. He gave my roof a clean bill of health and what to look for on my own. I will be calling them when my roof actually needs work. I appreciate the honestly and education. No pressure of anything.

I received an estimate from the co owner Mr. Kevin King back on April 15, 2021. Good honest person even recommended that I did not need a new roof only sky lights while other roofing companies did not recommend this. I had to reach out to him to remind of receiving the estimate. Once I received estimate, I returned the signed estimate via email and letting Mr. King know that I was ready to start install and can render down payment for sky lights. I even left him a voice mail message but no returned call till this day. I was very surprised being that he mentioned that his company had completed many jobs in my neighborhood. To be one of the owners and no followup is very disappointing!

This company made a painful situation painless. I found myself in a tough spot after finding out that the roof of my new house unexpectedly had to be changed. I had several estimates done, but Mark was so genuine and confident in his work that I decided to go with him. His estimate was incredibly fair and he didn't try to upsell me or cut corners which I really appreciated. Jerry was absolutely wonderful and such a genuinely nice guy--he goes above and beyond his responsibilities and is so responsive . The crew worked fast, neatly, and they really worked hard. I make sure to recommend this company as soon as someone mentions ""roof"". Very impressed with their work and top tier customer service. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Billed 25% more than estimate AFTER job started. Said they would not warranty my roof unless they replaced my sky lights AFTER job started. Billed me $5,000 more than their estimate.

Old sky lights were fine, but new ones leak. After two visits to fix, they now tell me the sky lights are not a warranty item and I should RUN FANS in those rooms to stop water dripping on my floors or replace the NEW sky lights.

Total rip off company. I would NEVER use them again.

It pays to do your research, as I have learned from other things. I found Atlanta Roofing Specialists on the Trust Dale website. I wanted to feel somewhat secure knowing that there were reputable sources who I believed would place their good name and reputation on the line to truly help people make the best and quality decision one could make, so at the recommendations made on this site, Atlanta Roofing Specialists were one of my selected estimates.

Atlanta Roofing Specialists scores high on the list. To begin with, they are professional. They provide a well documented folder that contains a bio, their licensed credentials, tons of real references, and the quality of service they provide. Due to the current pandemic situation, they sent all of this electronically which was perfectly fine. Next, once the appointment was scheduled a trained professional roofer, David, took the assessment of my roof. One thing that really impressed me was that he got on top of the roof that man spent almost two hours up there! At one point, I had to check to see if he was okay because I feared the worse, but he was meticulously doing his job. Wow! After the assessment concluded David explained that he would send all the details, including the measurements of the roof to my email. An hour later, I had the proposal, and it was extremely fair priced, detailed with what would be included, and any small add-on pricing for minor issues.

The week of my appointment the office called to inform me that I was confirmed and ready. I also received a call from the project manager, Casey, who wanted to let me know if there were any questions or concerns that I could reach out. All of these steps provided by Atlanta Roofing Specialists were mental notes I took because they were vital to me as far as outstanding customer service is concerned. It's always those little things that have the major impact in business.

The day of the job, the workers arrived shortly after 6 o'clock in the morning to get started. It was a large crew and they wasted no time. What I noticed immediately was how much care the crew took to make sure they picked up each and every piece of debris the fell down on the ground. I saw people on their hands and knees picking up tiny pieces of materials that had fallen. I noticed that they used blowers and other machines to make sure nothing lodged between bushes and grass blades. It was a sight to behold, and I was well pleased thus far.

When I went to inspect the materials, I was relieved to hear the foreman speak clear English which made me feel comfortable with my limited Spanish, so communication was not impeded. The pallet of my roof was exactly as desired. Although I had both the office and the project manager verbally confirm over the phone my order, mistakes can still happen. In this case, Atlanta Roofing Specialists were on point. During the process, I did not go check the progression because I did not want to get hit in the head, and I also did not want to get into the crew's way. I trusted the process and allowed them to do their magic.

At some point in the day, the foreman on the site came to make sure I was satisfied and Casey stopped by to inspect the job. I literally had no complaints or issues. The crew literally stopped pounding nails at 8:15 that night. Wow! They got it down in one day and they made sure it was right up until the last bam of the mallet! Who could ask for anything more. I am very pleased with the beauty of my new roof. If you need a new roof give them a call and tell them Fran Skipper sent you because you may be eligible for a great deal as a result. Atlanta Roofing Specialists put a replacement roof on our home just over 10 years ago following a hail storm. They were extremely professional, thorough, and timely then. We recently developed a small roof leak during the heavy winter rain storms and once again called Atlanta Roofing Specialists. While we were just outside of our warranty period, the Atlanta Roofing Specialists came right out. Again they were very courteous and professional and quickly took care of our leak... The surprise and delight was that Atlanta Roofing Specialists also took care of our repair under their 10 year warranty even though we were just outside of coverage... How many companies would do that? I suspect not many, but this company has certainly earned our respect and we would highly recommend them! Thanks Atlanta Roofing Specialists

Called them this morning and even though they supposedly have a 24 hour emergency service their next available appointment is 2 weeks out. I have a roof leak and need that repaired but also told them I may replace the roof. Two weeks waiting is a long time for a company that wants to earn your business and trust. I will shop for another roofing company willing to respond back to an immediate roofing problem.
