Assure U Roofing

My neighbor hired Assure-u at home services to reroof his home. When I came home for the day I found they had their materials spread out into my yard, I didn't say anything about it, just figured they would be done and out of here in two days but when I went to let my dogs out into my back yard I found scrapped off shingles and roofing paper all over my back yard. Two employees were out front when I got home, I brought in my trash cans, checked my mail and picked up some other scraps in my front yard. At no time did they come to me and say anything about all their trash in my back yard. I went out front after cleaning up the mess and had words with both employees and told them I did not appreciate finding all their garbage in my yard where my dogs are. They claimed the wind blew it over. I told them then they should have said something to me when I was out front and I better not find any nails in my yard. They said in broken english... No, No nails, no nails. Two days later they had finished up the job and were out of here. I walked out in my yard again with my dogs and again found pieces of shingles , scraps of roofing paper and ROOFING NAILS in my back yard. I can not help to think that the employees purposely threw them over the fence before leaving just for spite. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for!!! I'll be sure to inform the rest of the neighbors on the nextdoor app also of this behavior. ** Update on this matter** I happened to walk out side yesterday and saw an Assure-U truck in my neighbors driveway and a man on the roof. I asked if he was a supervisor and he responded that he was a supervisor of sorts and what could he help me with. I told him what had happened and he apologized and said he would be more than happy to clean up any mess his crew had made, I told him I had already cleaned up the yard and searched it for additional nails repeatedly. He then insisted that he be able to run a high powered magnet over my yard just to insure there were no other nails. We found no additional nails but did locate a couple of screws from the fencing company. When done he apologized again and said he will be addressing this issue with his employees on Wednesday when they returned to work. Turns out the ""Supervisor"" was actually the owner of the company. I've changed my rating from a 1 to a 3 because of this interaction with the owner and I do hope the matter is handled, but won't go higher than a 3 because this issue should have never happened in the first place.
