Just to be upfront: the roof work isn't 100% complete yet and Assurance is working with us on getting it there, but a few trim items still need to be addressed and the weather just hasn't been cooperating this week. Once the work is done I'm sure I'll be able to update this post with that last star for flawless service.

Other than that minor hiccup, working with Assurance Roofing has been pretty darn great. After the hail storm in April 2016 my wife and I decided this was the time to change the entire color scheme of our house, so we had it painted; which turned out awesome, but then the roof didn't match. So we called on the folks at Assurance Roofing to come out and give their recommendation on new roof colors to suit the new trim and siding colors.

Their marketing rep did a stellar job and was very patient with us in the color selection process. She and the owner of the company sat with us and outlined the process from the time we sign-on to the time they drive away; it was pretty straightforward and all we had to pay was our deductible. They worked directly with the insurance company to make sure we were getting what we are entitled to and that we would be able to replace the roof with a quality product that'll last us for years to come.

Our house isn't humongous, so it only took about 10 or 11 hours for them to rip off the old stuff, dispose of it, and put on the new stuff. They had a crew of 7 or 8 guys working nearly nonstop all day, so the work went by pretty quickly. They did a quick cleanup that night (it was dark, so they were pretty limited) and then came back the next morning and did a very thorough cleaning of the entire property to ensure there were no nails, packaging, old material, or other debris around the house.

I've heard a few horror stories lately, about roofs leaking after being replaced because the roofer forgot this or that; not the case here. We've had a pretty good amount of rain this past week and the roof is performing well from what we can see.

I've already recommended their services to a few friends and family, and I will continue to do so. I'm glad they decided to open a San Antonio location!
