I highly recommend Ashland Roofing. Daniel the owner is very thorough and his attention to detail is fantastic. He stands by his work. He installed our roof just under 5 years ago and did fantastic work. His honesty and integrity has shown both then and now nearly 5 years later. I have called him twice with questions as a result of storms and he has come both times and gave me a clear assessment. When we were worried about a possible leak this year he came out right away and he and his team found nothing wrong with the roof but his attention to detail resulted in checking every metal pipe and seal that sticks out of the roof. He found where one was needing to be sealed and he not only fixed that but checked the attic and ceiling and ensured any possible need was addressed. If you are looking for a roofer you can trust then this is the place.

Daniel is awesome in customer service. He cares for his workers as well. He stays on top of the communication and discusses with customers about project details and schedules. The workers he hires are efficient, they replaced the roof within one day. Shelly is a great assistant. She gives great advice for the color and correspond with customers on any other issues.
I definitely recommend their business.

We have had two roof replacements by Ashland, both caused by hail. They knocked it out and fixed things like AC fins. I recommended them to a friend, she needed a new roof about May 2021, they were thrilled. The good folks at Ashland sent me a nice thank you for the referral.

With all of the rain recently, we found a roof leak and water was running down the interior wall. We needed someone before the next wave of rain. Ashland was a referral and a very good one. They were there quickly, and the repair was complete by the next day. Had to replace siding, flashing, and shingles. Pictures were taken throughout the process and the owner was on site to ensure the work was completed to his satisfaction. Oh, and they were there when they said they would be. In my opinion, they go out of their way to ensure the customer is happy. I will be referring them to friends and neighbors because we will be needing them again. Great job Ashland!

When I decided to go with another roofing company, Daniel Fedako began to harass and berate me via text messages. He also strong armed, bullied and badgered me for a payment to add a tarp to my roof which was needed due to impending rain. He over charged me for the tarp compared to other roofing companies. His invoice indicated 30 days for payment due date, yet he continued to text me to pay immediately. Even though he over charged me out of spite and retaliation, I did not challenge his fee. It was very obvious that he was upset that he did not get my business and he quickly became very adversarial with me. A customer has the right to choose whoever they want to repair their roof. I made this clear to him that I was still taking in more estimates on the day we all met with the adjuster. I would not recommend someone like this who gets adversarial when things do not go his way. You learn a lot about a person's integrity or lack of when things do not go their way. I know I made the best decision to go with another roofer given the manner that I was treated by Daniel Fedako. I would not want to work with someone like David Fedako.
In the end he did say I could pay per the terms of the invoice but he continued to invoice me every week thereafter. I continued to ask him to stop as it served not purpose but he continued. So much for customer service. If he would treat me people better and not take things personal he might have gotten his payment sooner.

I honestly couldn't be happier with Daniel, Tiffany and the rest of the crew here. Daniel was an absolute pleasure to work with, even when some unforeseen things happened. He worked with my insurance company and always kept us in the loop. Tiffany, the Office Manager, is the nicest and I really appreciated that during this whole process. I would recommend Ashland Roofing to anyone in the market for a roof. Daniel was great and his crew did an outstanding job. Extremely happy with everything!

Ashland installed my roof last year. They did and excellent job which included some extras . A year later I had a leak in my roof on a back porch addition and called Daniel , he came out immediately and checked it out . Daniel then sent out Oscar who worked on it and believed it came from a gutter that overflowed. Two weeks later we had some heavy rain and developed a slight leak and I called Daniel again and this time he sent out a crew member who checked it out and then spent about four hours replacing some sealer and new shingles in that location. The crew member ran water over the area and no leaks appeared. We have had some more hard rain since then and the area remains bone dry. I would highly recommend Ashland for their work to anyone. Putting on a new roof is one thing, standing behind your work as Daniel did is another. Neighbors on both sides had their roof installed by Ashland and they are as pleased as I am. Don't listen to this Bennie guy. I met Daniel through a business arrangement and subsequently he has not only done a fantastic job replacing my mother's roof, but has been a TREMENDOUS help on my grandmother's. A tree fell on her house and busted the roof and gas line to the heater. The insurance initially offered up a measly 2K that didn't even cover the tree alone, three contractors were involved, tree removal, plumber and roof repair. Daniel negotiated with the insurance and raised that claim to a much more proper and fair 12k to cover the costs. I had to do very little because of his excellent work. If he does happen to show up a little late or has to reschedule, it's because he's working extremely hard for his other clients, you can't fault someone for that. He is an honest and fair guy that runs a great service.

Daniel showed up 45 minutes late to our appointment with the insurance adjuster without communicating, leaving both of us waiting. I figured he was a complete no show. When he finally did arrive, he helped himself to entering my backyard and started dealing with the adjuster, never bothering to knock or ring my doorbell. I reluctantly decided to go ahead and schedule our work with Ashland. I regret that decision. Daniel showed no respect for my time or schedule throughout the process. There were multiple occasions where Daniel was unable to deliver on schedule. I felt like I had to go behind every subcontractor he sent over in order to make sure the correct work was going to be done. In many cases, his guys were completely in the dark as to what work we had agreed upon to be done. I became frustrated and pointed out to him that I myself am a small business owner and my time is very flexible. Just simply tell me what time your guys will be here or at least what day, or if you don't know, just shoot me straight with that info. He deflected blame to his subcontractors and admitted he really didn't have any control over their schedules, even though he had given me specific scheduling information for each one. The final jaw dropper for me was when it came time to pick up payment. He had specifically told me he would swing by and pick up his check after 2 pm that Friday afternoon. He was a complete no show....no text, no call. In fact he didn't contact me until the next Wednesday, 5 days later, saying he was going to be in the area and wondering if he could come collect the check. He added a few nice lines about how he really appreciated the business, etc. At that point I just left his check under the mat out front. In regards to the quality of their work, I'm satisfied, but if you are looking for someone to shoot you straight, do what they say they're going to do when they say, look elsewhere. Daniel's lack of organization skills could have been overlooked, however, his attitude and lack of insight or care for anyone else's time speaks volumes. He thinks his time is more important than yours, and he doesn't even realize it.
Follow up review: The shortcomings of Ashland are getting deeper by the day. In response to their response: Of course you have no one by the name of ""Bennie Atkins"". Your lack of attention to detail is apparent since the name is ""Bennie ADKINS"". In truth I used an alias, since I choose not to have my name associated with Ashland Roofing in any way. However, you are being dishonest in your response. You know exactly who I am because you have been calling my cell phone for the past 2 days. I consider our transaction complete. I've left an honest review. I would consider any further contact harassment and a further waste of my time. Daniel was offered specific constructive criticism about my grievances and chose not only to not offering any apology, but to deflect blame onto your subcontractors and then continue the same pattern of behavior. I have a record of our text messages that I could screen shot and upload but you have displayed such a lack of insight I'd rather not waste my time any further.
