I have a house in Daly City, CA. The last time I had a new roof on my house was 30 years ago. I hired Mr. Kim to put a new roof on my house after getting a recommendation from a realtor friend who just had Mr. Kim do her roof. Mr. Kim arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. Mr. Kim's work was perfect. It rained a few days after the roof was installed. The roof had no leaks. Mr. Kim cleaned up after his work. I would recommend Mr. Kim to anyone. He gave me a good price.

Yong Kim/ASAP Roofing replaced the roof on our Noe Valley home some years ago, and recently replaced the bottom surface of a light-well at another property we own. The recent light-well job was tricky; the plywood underneath was rotted and had to be replaced, as did a portion of a drain coming down from the roof, all in a very restricted work space.
Mr. Kim's crew did a very careful and thorough job, and their clean-up was meticulous. I have always found Mr. Kim to be professional, reliable, and honest. His prices are fair, the work is done well and in a timely fashion, and if there are problems down the road he takes care of them (and quickly). He's the first person I'd call for roofing work.

Beware - Super dishonest!! The owner of this business, Yong Kim, hit my car in a parking lot when he was backing out of his spot. He proceeded to give me FAKE (outdated) auto insurance info and offered to pay me for damages privately. I was sympathetic but he offered to pay 2/3 of my body shop's estimate, then refused all calls and texts. Would you want a dishonest contractor that cuts corners work on your house?! Stay away.

Once Young Kim & crew arrived at my home in Bernal Heights, it turned out that he had put the roof on the house where I had lived in Noe Valley. All involved did an excellent job in putting on a new roof, complete with terra cotta tiles. Very efficient, honest, good pricing, & very reliable [always on time; no waiting]. Young was recommended to me by my neighbor, whose uncle had him do his roof long time ago. After coming over to give us an estimate about a month ago, I gave him the job considered it a fair price while comparing with my other estimates.

Finally, last week, he and his crew came and re-roof my neighbor's roof on Monday and Tuesday, and get to my roof 1-day early on Wednesday. It took them 3 days to remove my old tar & gravel roof, then put on new shingles, with a complete new gutter system.

After removing the tar & gravel, he got me up there and walk-thru the roof with him, explaining what they did, and is going to do. A few of the side wood panels need to be replaced due to rottening. Also the base of one of the exhaust vent was rusted.

Young also is considerate as he pointed out the shingles color goes with different color of our house. My neighbor ends up getting the dark green color shingles to match her house, while I got the reddish brown to match mine. The job was done in very efficient, professional fashion. The area around the house is clean afterward.
