Robert Lopez founded Armor Roofing LLC in Colfax, NC, driven by a desire to help others while embracing fatherhood and entrepreneurship. With a background in roofing and framing, he decided to focus on helping clients manage storm claims. We have now expanded to Fort Mill, SC, and Marietta, GA.

I’m Gil, the proud owner of Armor Roofing GA LLC. Born in Manhattan, NY in 1947, my father is Puerto Rican, trained in cabinet making, and served as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he became a carpenter, joining the local carpenters union in Utica, NY. I had the privilege of learning carpentry from a young age, helping with different projects, including roofing. I chose my own path, becoming a master barber after college and later completing a 25-year career in info-tech administration and project management. Robert Lopez, the founder of Armor Roofing LLC, is my first cousin, and together we operate a family-owned, multi-state, fully licensed, and insured roofing company focused on ensuring clients only pay their necessary deductibles. I will work closely with your insurance company at every level to secure your approval.
