I tried to get a bid from this company I never seen a company like this before my life were they said when I was trying to shop around for the lowest bid they said they didn't want my business I can't believe it I would tell whoever is going to use this company could be careful

They are flaky, they don't stand behind their work, they wont show up for an appointment. Period. Call someone else who cares.

Highly recommend this Company. They did repair work on my daughter's tile roof and she was very happy. She recommended them to us for a minor repair. Robert Stephens was assigned to us. He was professional, quick and didn't try to sell us on anything or do work that was not necessary. My husband called this morning and they were out in 2-1/2 hours. Extremely pleased with their professionalism. Don't think twice, call this Company.

just got my roof put on the gentleman that took care of it was very respectful and very clean with working informed me what he was doing and made sure that i didnt have any questions that was not answered and was very professional i would recommend this company to family and friends

Had this company reroof our house and install new rain gutters. The roof has a good guarantee from the manufacturer. After the days' work, I was informed that they would be coming back to finishing up. The next day, they did not show up. I called the company and was informed that they had been told the work was completed. Really!!!

They did not patch the stucco after removal of old gutters, leaving holes and exposure to the elements prior to installing the new gutters. One of the gutters downspouts is at an angle and not flat against the house. Another one has the rectangular end piece missing and the downspout end was cut at the curve and was left jagged and sharp, Water coming from the roof would hit an area behind the drain. I purchased some leaf guards and when placing them in the downspout discovered that they had broken the stucco, leaving an over 5-inch hole exposing the inside of the roof.
I telephoned the company and emailed them photos. No response. Poor work ethic,shoddy work and failure to correct mistakes. Pleasant on the telephone but the proof is in the pudding. Do not recommend anyone use this company unless you enjoy DIY work in repairing their work.

Need a complete new roof to replace a recalled cal shake roof. Called the office and left a message, never got a call back. Called the office again and a man answered and said he would get someone out. I asked when that would be and he became irritated and said he wasn't giving me a time and pinning the person down because he was busy and besides I don't have to be there when they measure. Still waiting for that estimate.

I kind of got this feeling that roofers do what they want. If they say they will be out that could potentially be within 6 months and whenever. I mean seriously even at an t and comcast gives a 4 hr window.

Obviously, too busy and too unprofessional to call. Forget my name, number and address please.

My husband and I went with them years back at our former house for repairs and then again recently when we purchased a new home that had a lot of issues inside and out apparently. The roof and gutters needed to be completely redone and we had nothing but pleasant dealings with the staff and crews that came out. I'm shocked with the other comments I saw here because John personally saved us a ton compared to a few quotes we had. With all the crazy weather headed out this way I am glad that we are taken care of.

John, the owner, came by to give me a bid on replacing my 25+ year old shake roof. Seemed friendly and courteous. He said that he forgot to bring his 100' tape measure and that he'd be back in a few days to take more measurements and give me a price. After a week and no communication, I called the office and fortunately, he answered. He apologized and said he'd be back within the week. Again, he did not return. Called the office again and spoke with someone else who said they would be sure to relay the message to John. Nothing......

I don't get it, all I wanted was a price? I'm looking to spend $20,000 on a local business and they won't even give me a bid?

Unbelievable.....

Based on communication alone, I'd pass.

John Jewell and his roofing company did an excellent job installing a roof at my dad's home in Modesto. Our roof has very little pitch and John suggested an IB system roof, which after doing my own research and asking a few inspectors, I found was the best system. His crew also installed some insulation, which has made a noticeable difference in the inside temperature of the house. The crewmen were very polite and efficient, they always cleaned up after the day was over and answered any questions. The overall experience was pleasant and quick, it only took 4 days from start to finish. I would most definitely recommend this company to my friends and family, and will most definitely be back for more business in the future.

These guys are awesome. We found a program that would help to finance energy efficient upgrades (HERO) and they were not only able to do an amazing job with the roof itself, but helped us to find people to replace windows and doors throughout. Their guys were always polite and i hope they are still around in 50 years when its time for a new roof!
