Please get other consultations before accepting one from this company. Owner gave an estimate without even inspecting underneath the house for retrofit. He quoted a price that was more than double of other quotes I was given. I am leaving the review for my Mom as she does not have a Yelp account. How can you give a quote without a proper inspection?!

Victor responded to my yelp request to replace an odd shaped exterior door in a rental home with ""I can help"" and he certainly did. He ended up repairing the door and it looks almost new. He and his crew did some electrical, masonary and repair work at my house too and they were always on time, polite and tidy. Victor always responded to my texts or phone calls right away and gave me advice for other things I could fix myself. I would highly recommend Armas Construction.

i reached out to them by yelp and was given a number to call to discuss the job and quote. i called the number multiple times and no response. given the reviews, i was really hoping for a quick response as the reviews indicated as well as a fair price but i have yet to hear back from the despite multiple attempts to reconnect. maybe the job i had for them was too small for them to take on. will be looking for a new general contractor i guess.

i am absolutely NOT about going after business simply to leave negative reviews, and it is pretty appalling that as a business owner, without having done any further follow up with a potential client, you would jump to this conclusion first. it took you over 24 hours to get me the correct number to call back, and since then i have called multiple times AND left voicemails with my name, number, and the approximate work i wanted to discuss with you over voicemail and i still got NO response. i am not going to leave my number on this review for privacy but i have called multiple times, the most recent one on 2/7 where i left a detailed voicemail and there was no response. im glad that many other reviews reported a much better experience but its also concerning that the same service is not extended to every client. i hope that this does not happen to other clients in the future but over a week of no follow up or response and such a malicious comment to a review, i will be looking elsewhere.

Had worst experience. I lost so much time in waiting for responses. May be he does not have time or people working, he refers outside. Does not take any responsibility. Think twice before dealing with them.

Found Armas Construction via Yelp and was very happy with them. The owner Victor was very helpful, communicative, and professional. His crew repaired my damaged condo balcony including new waterproofing. It looks better than it did before it needed repair. Their workmaship was good and the crew was efficient and was careful to make sure they didn't make too much of a mess. I was very grateful that Victor was easy to text, so I could easily communicate during work. Would use again!

Victor finished 3 jobs for me last month (adding a wall in a hallway, fixing a landscaping rock that was cracking and falling, and a door to the outside from one of the bedrooms) and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Writing this review as a potential customer (have not yet done work with Victor or can speak to his skillset). I am writing prematurely because in talking with Victor Armas (the owner), I was impressed with his professionalism, responsiveness and willingness to help which is not something you often find in all general contractors (I've contacted many who said they would provide an estimate and never followed through, didn't quote correctly, etc.). Victor has gone above and beyond in his responsiveness and willingness to do what's best for me as a potential client, regardless of what contractor we choose. I think this goes a long way in terms of his character. In terms of cost, he seems to be middle of the road from other quotes I've received but provides confidence he can get it done to your specifications. Thank you Victor for being a great person and contact to have!

My husband found Victor and Armas Construction on Yelp after we had to fire the first two general contractors that we had hired to build our new home. Victor bid on several aspects of the job and all bids were very reasonable. We used Armas Construction for the foundation, framing, insulation and they will be doing the drywall as well. Could not be happier with the work done or the workers he sent. Everyone was prompt, polite knowledgeable. Victor is always easy to reach and quick to respond to any texts. We will be using Armas Construction to build our garage and ADU next. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any size project or remodel...and I already have given his contact info to several friends starting projects that require a contractor.
