We had a new roof put in earlier this year. Our contact was David with Armadillo roofing. They were able to come out the same day to give the estimate. The price was fair. They showed up on time and when scheduled. A storm was rolling in so they worked really hard and had the roof done in 5 hours!! It was quality workmanship. No leaks or other issues since we've had our new roof. David was very helpful and pleasant to work with. I would use this company again hands down!

Three days ago I posted a negative review based on my very recent and ongoing negative experience with this company which mysteriously ended up buried in the ""not currently recommended"" section that no one will see. This company did an incredibly poor installation of a modified bitumen roof on my property in March of 2011 and since then I have had 4 leaks, the most recent one being severe and the owner blames it on another contractor. I ended up having to hire a very expensive independent roofing consultant with 47 years of experience who identified numerous defects in the roof, confirming that the roof is the source of the leak. Yet, the owner, Mark Franz insists they did nothing wrong and blames the siding contractor who replace a small area of siding on an slightly elevated section of the roof. But what I'd like to know is why did my review end up buried in the ""not currently recommended"" section after only 3 days?? It makes me think this site is rigged so I would suggest taking it with a heavy dose of salt. I wish I could post all of the photos of the crappy job they did because the pictures say it so much better than words. Now I'm having to get bids to tear off the existing roof and replace it completely because there are so many defects in the roof Armadillo installed. The very last statement in the consultant's report sums it all up: ""The roof was installed defectively in all areas as shown in this report.The roof should be replaced in its entirety.""

I have filed a claim with the BBB and will pursue legal action if I have to. I will not allow Armadillo to get away with such poor quality work which has caused significant interior damage, and huge inconvenience and stress to my tenants and me. The worst part is he denies responsibility by blaming others when there is conclusive, clear evidence that he (and/or his subcontractor) are at fault. If you still decide to use them, don't say your weren't warned!!

We had a leak between an add-on exterior cedar / glass patio and the house. Also water flow coming off the roof was hitting the side of the patio and over the years much damage was done.

Armadillo Roofing corrected the problem of the leak with a torch down product. They diverted the water off the patio with aluminum. Work was very well done.

Once the old roof was off, they found a damaged piece of plywood. They replaced the plywood without additional cost or me asking them to. I didn't even notice it. Also some wood trim on the side of the house was broken and the replaced on their own accord.

Armadillo Roofing left the yard completely free of nails and trash. Started and finished exactly when they said.

Their strong Yelp reviews are well deserved. Very impressed with Tim and his crew.

In a business that has its fair share of fly-by-night operations, the quality and integrity of Armadillo stands out. Doug Redman is one of the best contractors I have had the pleasure of working with. He was honest and upfront with his estimate. He texted photos of his crew's progress as they did the repairs to our roof, documenting the condition of a very flawed job we had done by another company. He even followed up after a heavy rain to make sure their work had held up (it did!). A few months later, when we were selling our house, Doug provided documentation of the work they did and an assessment of the condition of the roof. Would highly recommend.

I worked with David when we had wind damage to our roof. He walked me through the process of working with our insurance company and was very thorough. He was very flexible and worked with us to get the work done when it was convenient for us and when we could afford it. They also were able to add ridge vents to the front of our house which have made a huge difference in the summer heat. When the central Texas weather strikes next, I will call them again.

I had roof damage from a recent storm. My Ins agent recommended Armadillo for the repairs. They were very helpful throughout my claim process, they met with my adjuster to point out items I feel would have been missed if they weren't there. Since then they have replaced my entire roof and did a fantastic job. Dave was hands on throughout the entire process.

Armadillo did a fantastic job diagnosing a slow leak we had and repaired it within the time frame they promised. Once the diagnosis and repair were in process and then complete, they were very responsive in answering questions we had, and they stayed within our budget. The repair has held through these great rains and we are very pleased!

We had an amazing experience with Armadillo Roofing and can't say enough positive things about them and Dave our sales person. They replaced or entire roof in time to put our house on the market.

I started looking for roofers here on Yelp. Picked a few and called for estimates. Some were pushy and others made me feel like a number. Dave was extremely personable and had a very comparable estimate. I would much rather go with the person who explains things and is relatable.

This spring was a little chiller than most and when the roofing team could get on our roof because of the temperature or because of icy rain, Dave contacted me so I knew what was going on.

We have a very large roof with many different pitches and they were mostly done in 2 days. Dave did come back to roll for nails the next day as we lost light.

I would use them again in a flash if I need a roofer.

I had a leak in ceiling of my vaulted living room that appeared to be dripping down from where the chimney meets the roof. A couple of serious rain-storms in a short period caused some damage to the ceiling and even the wall where the water had dripped down.

I called Armadillo and another roofer that also had good reviews on Yelp. When I called Armadillo, no one took the call on a Saturday morning, but I did leave a message with my phone number, address, and a description of the problem. The other roofing company had someone available to take my call on that Saturday morning, and said someone would get back to me Monday or Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and that other company leaves a message saying they won't be available for 4+ weeks after all.

I was getting concerned that I wouldn't find a roofer before another deluge, as more rain was forecast. Then I noticed when I returned from work that same Tuesday or Wednesday, an estimate from Armadillo had been left on my front door. I didn't even realize they were coming out to look at it, since I hadn't heard back from them after leaving the message. That said, the estimate seemed very reasonable, so I tried to call and set a time to get the repairs done.

There were a couple of days where it was a bit hard to get ahold of Armadillo to set up an appointment for the roof repair and chimney flashing fix. When I was able to get the Armadillo contractor out a few days later on a Saturday, they did a great job, and didn't up the charge even though the damage to the roof was more extensive than their original estimate had accounted for.

All-in-all, I'm very happy with the work they did, and at a reasonable price. It's rained a few times and there's no evidence of further leaks. I knocked down the review one star because of the slight bumpiness in communication, but would definitely recommend Armadillo Roofing.

Amazing once again! Called Armadillo Roofing & Exteriors at the beginning of April 2014. We had three small leaks on our back patio roofing. David came out once again to inspect. Found that there was no leak..just some of our shingles flipped up and needed to be glued down with liquid nails. Didn't charge us. Nice man, great service, honest and dependable. Highly recommend these guys!!
