Ark roofer only gets 2 stars.

The bad: Dealing with the office staff. I see so many reviews on here saying how professional they are--but I did not feel that way in dealing with them. Emails and texts would just go unanswered when we sent them. We had our install date moved without us being informed. The gutters were put on incorrectly and an additional (unplanned) one was put in. From quote to completion took nearly 4 months. To 'compensate' for this delay and perceived unprofessionalism they proposed that they would give us a discount to write a good review. I did not take that obviously because I think the cons for working with Ark outweigh the pros. They told me at the beginning that they are more expensive than other roofers, but they make up for it in professionalism and quality. I did not find the professionalism portion to be true, but I know the expensive part is!

The good: The crew who did the work was courteous and quick, and our roof looks good. The office staff and sales team did try to blame many issues on them, however.

I'm really happy for all of the people who left a good review here--they seem happy to have worked with Ark. A new roof can really change the look of your house and help save money on heating and cooling bills. I don't feel that I received this experience and I'd recommend you look elsewhere for a roofer.

Ark Roofer replaced the roof on our home and did a great job. Michael Parks was the rep and we were very impressed with him. All phases of the job happened just as Micheal said they would and there were no surprises. Very good company and rep and we highly recommend.

Ark Roofer put up our new roof in half a day. Crew was all business. Cleaned up well after. Manager did a thorough inspection and did a sweep over the property for nails. Highly recommend Ark Roofing.

Once again Luke owner of ark roofing trash talking your customers and calling them ignorant and much more...... The vents your people covered up were for my bathroom exhaust fans. I know you covered the ridge vents when you put in the ""free"" solar fan that you turned around and wanted to charge me for after the fact is all part of your BS.
Again......Horrible experience!!!
Yesterday he sends an email stating job is completed and final payment is complete and they have registered my warranty and asked for a review and sent the links for me to do it and then today he sends another email saying they are retracting my warranty and that they are not showing the job completed. He has my final check per the contract.

without a doubt the most competent and thorough group of guys that pay such attention to every detail!!! No stone is left unturned and talk about play by play updates. Great roofing Company that actually cares!! Everything in my yard was covered for protection and because I couldn't get my dogs out to pee, one of the guys got down off the roof and took them for me. Luke, David, Tim. Cynthia, and Brandon were so wonderful to work with!!

This post is a long time in coming! Ark Roofer exceeded all my expectations!!! I am an out of state investor. My Property Manager recommended Ark Roofer to me after a hail storm damaged my roof, facia, and screens. Ark Roofer came through and inspected the damage, took footage with a drone, and forwarded it to me. After making a quick and easy roofing material selection from among top rated composition asphalt tile manufacturer's, I forwarded my selections to my HOA and insurance company which both approved immediately! Ark Roofer started and finished the job on schedule! No money came out of my pocket as my insurance company approved all of Ark Roofer's recommended repairs. My insurance company forwarded two separate checks to me to pay Ark Roofer directly upon completion. Finally, Ark Roofer sent me a video, taken by drone, of my new roof! Ark Roofer made the process smooth as silk! My tenant was never disrupted or felt a need to relocate through the process. I highly recommend Ark Roofer to be your next roofer! Their customer service is above par and they kept me informed through the entire process. My sales agent Jeff, made himself available 7 days a week! He responded to all my texts! I especially recommend Ark Roofer to all out of state investors who don't have time or are able to keep eyes on their properties. Ark Roofer was very honest and trust worthy!

Oh boy, where to begin. I thought I was doing good by going local. Everything was great until the contract was signed. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.

1)They dropped off roofing materials A MONTH before the scheduled construction date and blocked my driveway with 0 notice- had to call the company to get it moved. How could anyone reasonably expect to not pull their car out for a month?

2). If they set up a day to come out, it was pretty much guaranteed they wouldn't show up, instead would pop up at our house several days later with no notice. Good thing my dog wasn't in the backyard when they entered the backyard without any notification.

3. Quality- Had several quality issues with the roof in which I had to have the roofer come out to fix, and it was like pulling teeth. I had to contact them for MONTHS to get them to come back out and fix it.

4.Trash/Nails- Tons of trash (food, drinks, nails, even a fan vent) were left in the backyard after they were ""finished"". Cleaned most of it up myself, but had to call multiple times to have them come back and use their sweeper for nails.

5.Back end- If you go with them, pray you never have to talk with their billing team. The number on the bill didn't match with what the insurance company told me, and asked me to contact the roofer to fix the invoice. The roofer's response was to scream ""I DON'T CARE! JUST PAY WHAT'S ON THE BILL"". It's almost impossible to have a normal conversation with them without them losing their shit. This happened TWICE.

6.Lied about work- I had a line item, which they told me they would subcontract out (fixing my A/C) unit. They kept telling me they would send someone out, until months later of me escalating, they finally told me ""Oh we never actually do that, you can find someone else on your own to do it"". They struck it from my invoice, but why did it take months of me calling them for them to finally tell me the truth?

7.Final Balance- The work was done last July, and even in February (7 months later) we are still experiencing balance issues. theOO had stated he would waive the remaining amount due to the long list of issues we experienced working with them, only for him to change his mind the following month. Not at all reliable. We called them after a severe rain storm that left water running into our living room. The office said they would have the individual who handled that portion of town call us right away. It's now six months down the road and no call. Not impressive!
