This guy was nice enough to contact me right away. However without looking at my housing or asking about how large it is he quoted me a rough pricing that is 2x of what other reputable companies had. This just raise a red flag for me right away on how professional and ethical is he.

Ariana Roofing replaced my roof & gutters December 2017. I was impressed with the quality of the work. The owner Nieves and his crew were always respectful to me and to one another. They worked quietly and neatly (which in my experience is fairly unusual in the roofing business). The crew cleaned the site nicely each night before leaving my property. The materials and workmanship appeared to be of the highest quality. They didn't cut corners. Nieves clearly knows the technical side of his business. After the job was complete and I had paid my bill, I had a concern with a piece of material used, but Nieves returned and secured, caulked & painted the area, exceeding my expectations. I would use Ariana Roofing again (they do non-roofing work, as well).

I thought I had a roof leak and had Nieves come out to provide me an estimate for repair. After inspection, he determined the roof was not the problem and determined my fire sprinkler system was leaking. He even took the time, free of charge, to email me an estimate for repairs that would need to be done to my house (drywall, flooring, etc.). I can't attest to their roofing work, but I was impressed by their customer service and would definitely contact them in the future.

Nieves fixed my issue with the obnoxiously loud downspout issue free of charge. This updated review is just as I will not use yelp as a vessel to get issues fixed after the fact. It would be dishonest to the yelp community for me to erase my initial review and rate 5 stars after getting my issue resolved. I give you the whole picture.

""FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU; FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME""
I was completely convinced Ariana Roofing was the solution to my gutter issue due to the all 5 star reviews. I called him up for a complimentary quote and Nieves came to my residence in a timely manner. I indicated to him that we wanted the whole front section of the house's gutters replaced as they were leaking. He assured us that this was not necessary as the gutters looked to be in good condition and the problem according to him was a lack of downspouts which was causing an overflow. He did not bother to climb a ladder and inspect the issue to make sure his assessment was right. He was absolutely sure it was a downspout issue. His crew came out that same week to install the downspouts. Within a few hours they completed the job and we told the workers to use a hose to pour water into the gutter to make sure that the issue was indeed fixed. To our amazement, the gutters still leaked! The first thing that came to my mind was ""ARE YOU KIDDING ME??"" Nieves was notified of the issue and he offered to replace the gutters(keep in mind this is what we had initially told him we wanted) at a discounted price. I don't know about you, but the correct thing to do would be to fix the issue at no cost since his assessment was wrong. Why would I pay extra to have a problem fixed that he was supposed to repair in the first place? His argument was that nevertheless we needed downspouts and he was being generous. He might be right that we needed downspouts to improve water mobility but that is not why we called him for.
We agreed to his proposal of a discounted price as we were in desperate need of a gutter replacement as the exterior of the house was recently painted and it was supposed to rain soon. When the rain came, the gutters replacement solved the leaking but now there is an issue with the downspouts he installed that we apparently needed. They make a continuous sound day and night that can be heard inside the house when it rains. It is almost like a grandfather clock ticking. I called Nieves to explain my concern as he had explicitly told me he guarantees all his work. His response was not what I expected, he gave me an explanation that it was normal. Again, he made an assumption without looking at the issue...As far as the guarantee, what guarantee? If he came to my residence and found nothing wrong with their work he would charge me a fee. At this point, I no longer trusted him.

This review is intended for those individuals who are frustrated by ""professionals"" who ensure they will fix an issue and do not. Analogy: who has taken their car to a mechanic, were told the issue, cost of repair, had it repaired and still continued to have car problems?

PS I hold a BS in Business Economics from UCLA and I can tell you Nieves has mastered the art of selling. Good for business, bad for customers. Look elsewhere, don't commit the same mistake I did. Feel free to contact me if you any questions or need clarification.

We needed to get our roof done quickly as we were in danger of losing our fire insurance. Nieves gave us a very reasonable estimate and worked with us when additional repairs were needed. The crew was quiet, polite, and hard-working. The job was done on time and they left the area as clean as possible. Excellent!

I manage a four-story condo building whose shingles were recently replaced by Ariana Roofing. Nieves was recommended to us by the fastidious contractor we use for maintenance of our building. We had three proposals and Ariana's was the low bid. We don't usually go with the low bid because quality is sacrificed, but based on our contractor's recommendation we did and couldn't be more pleased. They started the job two weeks after we accepted the proposal and finished the job in the 2.5 weeks Nieves said it would take. Removing the old shingles they found dry rot and because Nieves is a general contractor, his roofers also did the dry rot repair. His employees are more conscientious than most of the workers we've used over the years. They were friendly and cleaned up every evening before they left. We give Ariana Roofing an A+.

This is a first class roofer! We couldn't be more pleased. Nieves, the owner, is a friendly, articulate, easy-to-work-with guy with a great sense of humor and always responded quickly to emails or phone calls. His estimate was very reasonable, he was able to start my project within a week, and his crew was efficient, tidy and hard-working. They removed three layers of old composite shingles, replaced and painted the soffits, moved three toilet vents to accommodate space for solar panels, installed new attic ventilation, and laid the new 30-year roof in less than two days. Nieves worked with our solar company to coordinate the installation. And, as a bonus for being a veteran, I received a $250 ""GAF Roofs for Troops Rebate!"" I highly recommend Ariana Roofing!

Sunday evening is NOT the time you want to feel drops on your head coming down from your ceiling!! Water was coming out from under the floor baseboard and down the wall. I called my HOA and was connected to the after hours emergency operator. The HOA manager contatcted Ariana Roofing and within 10 minutes, Nieves Jauregui of Ariana had called me. He and his co-worker were in Monterey on an emergency call and could be to my home in two hours. To my amazment and relief, they arrived and quickly assessed the leak's source and in the dark with flashlights on a Sunday night were on top of my two-story roof repairing the sky-light flashing. The leak stopped, the seal prevented further damage and the problem was solved until the sky light could be replaced. These two kind men worked for two hours on a rainy Sunday night on top of my roof. I was very impressed and very relieved!! The following day, Nieves called to double check if everything was OK and that he'd followed up with my HOA manager. Needless to say.....WOW!!!!!
