I was impressed when called office for an estimate which they're able to schedule it the same day. Javier came over about an hour later than expected in the evening but did roof inspection and all the measurements before dark. He promised to provide a bid in a few days, well, specially Thursday. I called office after did not receive it, was told it'll be ready the following day. I called them again a few times after nothing happened, every time the lady on the phone always saying how busy they are but no worries it'll be sent shortly. Finally she admitted they're not going to give me a quote as Javier may have lost the note and he's too busy! I was like what's the point you came over for the inspection but unable to give an estimate? Terrible customer service, and I won't trust doing business with them. Imagine if they get the job but all of sudden ""too busy"" to finish the work?

Araujo's Roofing recently re-roofed my mom's home in Oakland. They were referred to us by my mom's neighbor. This included re-roofing the house, the garage, and new aluminum gutters. This is a small family business and both Javier and Leticia were actively involved in the entire project from start to finish. (Leticia runs the office and business side of the company and Javier is on site daily performing the work and supervising his crew). They communicated well and my mother and I were very comfortable hiring them over 5 other bids. I ask a lot of questions and I never felt that I was ""bothering"" them as they patiently answered them. They are honest and we trusted them. They cleaned up at the end of each day and finished the job on schedule, though the job probably ended up being a little larger then expected. (They had to remove 4 layers of old shingles dating back to 1904!). I had to have Javier return so that he could make a couple of adjustments on our gutters and this was done with no problem and a smile. Their customer service has been excellent. They aren't flashy, just honest, fair, hard working and take pride in their work. I would use them again.

We had our roof replaced in 2014. Their work was fast, clean and beautiful done. Later on I recommended them to my friend who lived in Montclair Oakland to replace their roof. They were very happy about their job too.

This company does excellent jobs and is very honest.

I first found it two years from BBB and it have A+ rating. At that time, they did downspout repair for me with very reasonable fee.

Last week I asked them to do gutter clean and necessary repairs before the raining season. They gave me very quick response though they were very busy with lots of projects. Again, I am not disappointed and they did additional work for me without extra charge. I am very pleased to have them.

I make an appointment for 2-2:30 to get an estimate for a new roof. 2 hours after the appointed time, I finally get a call from the office manager saying ""Sorry. Can we come by now?"" I don't think so. If you can't call saying you're going to be late, what kind of service can I expect when starting the job.

Araujo's roofing did an excellent job replacing the roof at my Grandmother's house a few years ago, so when it came time to replace the roof on my house, I knew I wanted them for the job.

In the middle of a drought year, I thought we were safe from worry about rain, so I went ahead and scheduled the work for the first week of June. On day 1 the old roof was removed and hauled away. On day 2, the new plywood layer was put down, and the team had to wait for the city inspector before they could begin the next step. The owner, Javier, kept up on the weather reports, so he saw that an unexpected storm was coming in. He had his team come back after the inspection so they could put down the waterproof layer. They worked late that day to get it done, and we got through a wet stormy day with no leaks!

Javier and his team did a great job for a very reasonable price, and I love the look of my new roof and gutters. I highly recommend Araujo's for an honest, dependable job.

Araujo's Roofing have changed the roofs of many of my neighbors and friends and they have done an excellent job.
Three or four years ago they changed the gutters of my house and they did a superb job.
Javier, the owner, just came to inspect my roof and he suggested to wait for a couple of years. It's in good shape at this time. What a nice and honest man!!!! When it is time to do the job, I definitely want Araujo's Roofing to take care of the roof of our home.
