like many others, I found out during the rainy season that I had a problem with my roof. Fortunately, it wasn't horrible but I knew that I needed to take care of it. I contacted Araujo Roofing as well as a handful of other contractors. Arajuo Roofing was the only group that not only went up on the roof to actually explore the issue but was kind enough to actually put down some temporary tar paper to prevent the leak from occurring during the next storm. Can you imagine, they said they couldn't leave me with a leaking roof. The other contractors came out and from the the ground they looked up and were sure that they knew what the problem was, needless to say I wasn't impressed with them. I selected Araujo Roofing to take care of my roof and they came out and again surprised me. Not only did they fix the roof but they also went around and resealed all of the roofing vents with tar at no charge. Then, to top it all off, they cleaned up after themselves when they were done. While getting in touch with them was a bit tough because they were super busy during the rainy season I persevered and a very glad that I did because they did a great job.

Decent job sealing a patio roof. A little expensive ($800 for 2 guys for 2 hours) and left some debris to clean up but job looks solid.

Jesus from Araujo contacted me a day later after I called them. He showed up without communicating. Anyway, he promised to give me a quote for next day at the moment that I'm giving feed back which passed 7 days, I haven't received a single word from them eventhogh I texted him on 3rd day as a reminder. When Jesus showed up, they didn't have a good attitude at all. I gave them one star because they showed up on the next day.

We needed to redo our aging roof in preparation for a solar project. I took the time to meet with several 4-5-star respected companies in the San Diego area before choosing Araujo Roofing. What I liked about Araujo Roofing is that they are local, and their complete sense of ownership throughout the project. Our project involved removal of the old roof and installation of a shingle roof, flat roof, new ventilation, new coping and a new flat roof drainage system and painting (coping and external drainage pipes). Jesus Araujo and his team finished the project in about a week while other roofs on our street (by other vendors) took 3 - 4 weeks. The craftsmanship is top notch, and they work long days with very clean work. Jesus really cares about customer satisfaction. I would choose Jesus (Araujo Roofing) again and I highly recommend them as a best value, competitively priced roofing company in the San Diego metro area. They are true professionals and a pleasure to do business with.

My home badly needed a new roof. I got many quotes and Araujo Roofing was the most reasonable. They also replaced any wood that was rotted, and two beams on my front porch. They painted everything as well. Each day their crew did a great job cleaning up, the worksite was always left clean and swept. It only took 2.5 days for the roof to be complete. I have already gotten compliments from my neighbors. Thank you Chewy and team! I highly recommend them!

They responded to my phone request quickly by email and informed that someone would be contacting me regarding my request for an estimate. When they called back they requested my address and informed me that they do not come to the jobsite but provide the estimate based on a satelite picture. They informed me that I would have the bid within 1 hour. After a couple of days I called and for some reason the estimate was not sent but I received the estimate within two hours of the phone conversation. I am old school and I am not a roofer and I was in hopes of meeting a representative of the company and hopefully offer any options I may have in preparing the estimate. Perhaps this the new way of doing business but not for me. I selected another roofer who provided me with all the information I was seeking onsite.

Jesus and team were amazing replacing the underlayment of my roof after a leak occurred. The damage on the underlayment was BAD, never having been replaced in the home's 32 years. His team was able to find the source of the leak and replaced the damaged roof deck. His team also replaced the old flashing and even helped clean the gutters!

After each day, the team cleaned up which was really appreciated!

He came to look over the site on a Sunday, in his church clothes, and sent the quote that night. His crew worked for days on a difficult job, they were downright jovial, and Jesus checked in with me frequently as it progressed. Our house has always suffered during heatwaves and yesterday was a big one- the house is cool and pleasant thanks to the job Jesus and his crew did. His prices are fair, he is thoughtful and ethical. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
