Noe Arana and his crew were amazing. We had our house re-roofed in Studio City. The price was very reasonable, they were able to start the job really quickly and within a week it was done. Those guys worked amazingly hard. The crew that removed the old shingles did it in a day and left the area around the house clean as can be, which I couldn't believe since it is a messy task. The new roof team was great too and the cleanup each day and at the end was amazing. It was properly inspected before and after and everything went smoothly. It even rained the day after it was done and of course no leaks. Thank you guys and I would recommend you to anyone!

My insurance company needed a certificate that my roof was in good shape to renew my insurance and Arana Roofing (Avi) was able to come out quickly, assess what was going on, and come back for repairs the next day. The repairs involved resealing most of the inlets, pipes, and chimney cap with pro grade white silicone. And my insurance company accepted their invoice. The speed and quality of the work as well as Avi being a nice guy to get along with gets 4 stars.

The minus star is for some of the communication and the follow up:
* We had agreed on a price ahead of time but he called to ask for more money to do optional additional work on something during the repairs that was not discussed after the initial inspection.
* One of the repair items I mentioned during the price discussion didn't end up getting fixed, for common reasons that could've been mentioned ahead of time.
* Getting a hold of him to get the necessary invoice afterward required a lot of pushing on my part.

Overall, they do good work but be sure to be very explicit and upfront about what you're getting out of the work and get everything you need out of them upfront before handing over full payment.

Update: Avi called me after I wrote this review and explained that the additional work he called me about was purely optional and why it was difficult for him to provide me a referral for the unfixed repair item. While it would've been nicer to get this info at the time of the repair, I still bumped the review up half a star for taking the customer seriously.

I interviewed several roofing companies before I found Arana roofing. Avi came out and gave me a fair quote and made me feel comfortable with every single detail. His team of experts were hardworking and respectful during the reroofing process.
If your looking for a reliable professional I'd highly recommend these guys.

David came and gave me a quote.

He was too pride and too young to be any professional. I bet he thinks he should be the CEO of a big company. He was not polite either.

I told him that his quote was way more than the quotes I got from other companies (50% more), he become some kind of angry. He said ""I am not going to use the junk shingles that Home Depot is selling, I am going to use the very best shingles"". I asked what shingles he was going to use, he said ""Owens Corning"". Well, Home Depot sells Owens Corning shingles.

I think the way he behaved came from the fact I am an immigrant, and he thought I was an easy target to take advantage of.

I've had 2 roof leaks I was trying to get repaired from our original roofer and after weeks went by, I knew I needed to find someone who was available now to do the job and that's when I found Avi. He communicated and was responsive, then came out to repair! He made the whole process so simple and easy. My only regret is I didn't find him sooner.

I had to get a roofer out to my home quickly due to the upcoming sell of my home.

I needed to have my roof inspected, and any issues addressed. The roof was in good shape, but did require some small fixes, which the guys from Arana quickly addressed. They also provided before, during and after pics and made it extremely easy for me to pay.

They arrived at the promised time, and wasted no time getting started, completing the job quickly.

They were friendly and professional. I'm glad they were able to get the job done so quickly based on my call just that same morning.

Avi answered all my questions and was always in touch with me throughout the project. They finished my roof in a timely manner and left the area clean and spotless.
